This store is 12 miles farther than the UPS store closest to my house. Still, this is the location I choose to use when I am in need of their services. Why? Because all of the employees are just so darn nice! A few days ago I needed a notary and two witnesses to my signature and went to Amscot because I thought they'd be cheaper. Amscot couldn't do it, but this UPS location seemed really happy to help and was the same price as Amscot, $10! I had no idea they did fingerprinting and copying in there as well. It's such a nice, small little store just brimming with friendly, happy, helpful employees. All of my Amazon returns go through this store, and now so will all my notarizations. There is ALWAYS a slow moving line. I have a corporate account that they can never find in the system and insist on charging me for boxes. Just frustrating! Going to PakMail where they are amazing, efficient, and helpful! read more

The few times I've came to this location, they have had the most unwelcoming customer service skills. They make you feel like a burden when trying to do a simple Amazon return. I'll be avoiding this location. read more

Wow. I came today because I need a 60 page manual from the internet printed so I wouldn't have to keep using the iPad to study. I transferred the PDF to my Kindle app but figured out that I could only print out one page at a time while speaking to the associate. It was very busy today at the store so I told them I would figure out another way to keep the line moving. I emailed the web address to them, and, an hour later, the manager called and said they were able to print the manual. I came back later and to my surprise the manual was not only printed but placed in a binder which will make studying much easier. My many thanks and highest recommendation. read more

All our boxes were packed by this store with the guarantee if anything was broken or damaged we could get a refund. They arrived with holes everywhere and all crystal glass, stained glass, tupperware, pictures, an antique table -ALL broken and damaged. None of the boxes were labeled fragile? We've contacted the UPS store in San Diego as well as this store and we keep getting the run around as they keep denying the claim. Managment won't call us, which is very concerning for a company in general. Very disappointed in this store and UPS as a whole. read more

How do I give a business a negative star? Or a zero star? This business is a black hole and vacuum to the netherworld of oblivion... If you have a problem or need help in shipping, this IS NOT a place to go for solutions. I flew in to Orlando and shipped (overnight) a package from a supplier in the Midwest to this UPS location (3101 SW 34th AVE) in Ocala. It contained 4 shirts for a 3 week fitness tour set to start that afternoon. The owner/manager, J R Burns (who clearly has no business skills) REFUSED to give me the package based on the fact that I was not a PO Box renter at his business. Due to Mr Burns failure to possess any interpersonal or professional business skills, my team went without branded fitness wear for 2 additional days because he felt he was within his authority to return my package to the origination point. My package was within 36 inches of my reach but I was DENIED possession. I also had two larger boxes sent to an Orlando UPS Store that same morning. I paid a small fee for them to receive and hold them. I did not have a PO Box there either, yet they had no problem with the scenario. Clearly they had good business sense. I read negative comments about UPS Store located at 3101 SW 34th Avenue, Ocala, Florida prior to deciding to use them, but I thought I would give them a chance anyway. My experience leads me to believe that this is NOT a problem-solving organization but rather one that creates more issues for you when you enter their front door. STAY AWAY!! In fact run away....take your money elsewhere for your shipping needs. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UPS STORE!!! My husband and I shipped a Christmas package to our son on December 22 from this store and was told the only way to guarantee the package would get to him by Christmas was to ship it overnight priority that cost us $339.30. We were a little shocked by the price but asked them if it was 100% guaranteed or money back we would spend the money to make sure that our son received his package in time which they confirmed it was 100% money back guarantee. Well the package was not delivered for over a week and now they are refusing to refund the $339. 30. They told me that they filed a claim for our package and that UPS denied it? I personally called UPS and they told me that a claim had never been filed. I called the store back and basically was told there is nothing that they can do. In addition to being rude, they simply did not care, I would not recommend shipping from this location! read more

I rarely need something notarized or mailed, however, the location I visited in Ocala Fl. in my option is taking advantage of our older community. When I needed to have my signature notarized, after it was done, the charge was $10.00. Seriously for a 91 year old man and a 65 year old man. I know in another state I used the same service at another UPS store in another state and the cost was $4.00. Today, once again I visited the same location and was told the cost to mail an envelope was 48% more than if I went to the actual post office. Yes, I left and went to the actual post office and saved money. Again the location is in our over 55 community area. read more
