Just to start, if you have never been here, it is not the easiest to see from traffic. But if you can see The Outback, just turn in there, it is connected to the restaurant. There is parking right out front. It's a small store, but they have all the supplies you should need to send out any package. I come here mostly to drop things off and the customer service has always been good. I've never spent more than 5 minutes inside. It's a pretty quiet store and they are always very helpful. read more

Arrived at 8:15am and it was not open even though hours posted says 8am. Called and no answer.

Absolutely despicable customer service! Walking in feels like you're at a drug deal with employees wearing street clothes and hoodies over their heads . Employees never lifted their eyes to address the customer nor did they have any personality and their speech was barely coherent. They couldn't figure out how to ship a simple package and couldn't look up the address even though prior we had sent packages to that address once or twice a year for 9 years. It was like dealing with drones! I had gone to this store against my better judgement because my wife needed to ship a present to my niece for her birthday and we were in the area but when we finally got out of there she was so irrate that she swore to never go there again. read more

The owner of the store doesn't know his own printers or how to make a proper cop. He got my request wrong 3 times. Just a double sided form black and white. Took nearly an hour when I was short on time. I even went somewhere else to use the restroom but when I got back he still hadn't gotten my order completed. He didn't know 4x3 and after everything made me go through and count my own copies for him. It made me late for an appointment. I had very limited time extremely frustrating and I am terrified for that location as the owner is this way. read more

I was SO fortunate to finally find this shop on my way to Logan airport to catch a 4:30 flight home. Cory was OUTSTANDING!! I had just experienced a true nightmare just minutes before ( see review) at the UPS store in Beverly. This Peabody shop is hidden a bit and is RIGHT next to the steak house in front of the large shopping center ( could not find it the day before ). I was SO very very exhausted fr moving my daughter and I had just left my Air B&B in Gloucester, the Causeway for a to go order, our storage facility on Rt 1 in Peabody, and after Cory, to Chinatown to buy a gift THEN... To Logan ( made it by 3:30 THANKS to Cory). I had urgent things to be packed by him to take into the plane in a 3rd checked piece ($185 w delta), and I had a lot of heavy items he would pack ship home to Minneapolis including a 15" square original print . He quickly came out with me to the car and helped me bring in ALL these items graciously ( two trips to the car by both of us and his hand cart). No hesitation and fast. Then he used my new double walked box and packed my things for the plane. We got a price for him to ship as well. During this he was ALSO able to quickly efficiently help two other people dropping off fast pkgs! Excellent multi task skills . Then we organized everything for his packing shipping. he made fast measurements created tickets price and bingo I was able to leave and catch my plane! He also carried my large box for on flight to the car without my asking for help. I was so so tired, wiped out frazzled more by the terrible experience minutes before in Beverly and CORY JUST SAVED ME!!!!..... VERY thoughtful extremely fast gracious kind excellent worker!! My father passed away and my sister and I needed to ship a LARGE quantity of items - many over 40-50 years old and with great sentimental value. Paul was honest, fair, prompt and reliable. He was incredible to work with and went over and above to carefully pack our items and save as much money for us as he could in the process. He made things so easy and I appreciate the effort and support he provided. If there was a higher rating on YELP than 5 stars, I would give them 10 stars. What a classless older man that I assume owns this particular store. My wife brings heavy package ( for her to lift ) to return and asked for help lifting it and was denied any assistance. Can't leave the store, only one here. Bull, I work retail and would never allow someone to struggle with a package like he did. It is a small ups location and you never lose sight of the store walking out to a parked car for what would have been a literal minute. She manages to get the package inside and he didn't even hold the door open, classless yet again. She finally pleads for help getting it up on the counter and he begrudgingly helps. When she informs him it is an amazon return, he comments, would never have lifted it on to the counter if I had known that, classless for the third time. Person behind the counter threw the person's package who was in front of me on the ground without a single care in the world, and threw his other box across the table. He then proceeded to carelessly throw my package across the table with a $1000 item inside of it. So rude and careless. The man responsible for this is about in 60's with a gray beard. I will be calling UPS headquarters and reporting this man for carelessness. read more

I never would have imagined that workers at a UPS store would become friends. However, this is a place where everyone knows your name and cares about you. Paul and his team not only go above and beyond the call of duty on numerous occasions to make sure challenging projects get shipped, but are consistently asking how we are doing. They care not only about our family, but ask about how our business is doing and if it is growing. They know that their work performance impacts our business and seek to do all they can to make our job easier. I had the folks at this store pack a drum set for me about a year ago--it was in a million pieces, all weird sizes and shapes, and they did a great job. It cost a small fortune for packing and shipping using the least expensive shipping method, but everything made it to the West Coast....and made it in one piece. I highly recommend these folks for packing and shipping valuables or weird, big stuff. read more

I travel for work and have been to many ups and fedex stores. This one in particular is top notch. A+ customer service. Great pricing.

I show up with a return label sent to me via email from a company. Man behind the counter says with conviction that's not going to work. He attempts to turn me away. Before I leave because I am no expert on return labels I kindly ask what's wrong with it? I tell him that's what the company sent me to return their item. He points to another return label and tells me it needs to look like this! Now mine looks nearly identical only smaller. I ask what's the difference? He proceeds to put on his glasses, grabs the scanner, try's it and it works! He didn't seem to happy about that. Horrible customer service! I will not return. read more

By far, this UPS Store at 300 Andover Street is the BEST place to ship. They are enormously helpful and offer excellent customer service. I have been using this store for 6 years, and have shipped & received THOUSANDS of packages over that time, and never had a problem. I had to move to Minnesota for emergency surgery earlier this year for about 5 months. The folks at this UPS store continued to to forward my packages to me out there, call me, and essentially help keep my business afloat. There is no equal to this place. They also take care of my regular mail. If sending or receiving your package it is important, use this UPS location. read more

I had a fantastic experience. I popped in right before they closed for the day. I was quite panicked fearing I wouldn't get product out to a customer in time. They took the product, packaged it and even had the driver wait until the box was sealed. Thanks Paul! You were a huge help! read more

I would highly suggest you go somewhere else to ship your packages, especially around the holidays. We have such a nightmare of a story dealing with the owner, Paul. The package was supposed to be originally shipped to my bf's work, i.e a surprise for me, but for whatever reason it ended up being sent to the UPS store and it was signed for by Paul. When my bf went to pick up his package....it wasn't there!! Paul was confused as to where it could have gone, he called another branch in Lynnfield. He then gave us some BS story about how it was picked up by some guys and sent there. So we drove to Lynnfield and waited another hour for the lady to tell us it wasn't there either and we should have just waited in Peabody like she told Paul on the phone. She printed the proof that he signed it. We then went back to Peabody before they closed, and low and behold Paul went home for the night. We talked to his associate Jim and he was doing his best to find the thing, but no luck. We went back the next morning and confronted Paul showing him he signed for it and demanded a real explanation, but he had nothing to say for himself. I'm not going at assume anything, but I think we all know what happened to the package. Just saying. read more

Update- The owner of the store worked with my husband to pay for the repairs and partially reimbursed for shipping. While it was definitely a hassle, I have to give him credit for taking responsibility for his error. My advice would be to verify packing (and perhaps even be present while it is happening) to ensure there are no errors. read more

Last time I visit this store. I will go out of my way to avoid this store and their horrible customer service. Never a smile and a hello just lectures on how you should have taped your package before you walk in the store and actually having the gall to ask for tape donations. I was late tonight getting to the store because I stopped to buy my own tape, walked in at 5:56 and even though they didn't close until 6, the old miserable man was annoyed that I actually wanted a receipt for my package. it's not open on Sunday. So which ever is responsible for hours should change it so people don't waste time.

I used this store to mail a picture from MA to VA, however, the picture never got sent. A week after the picture was due in VA, I called and inquired and they admitted to never sending the picture. It finally was sent, however it was damaged. The glass was actually missing from the picture and the frame and picture mat were damaged. The owner, Paul, only returned 2 of my 5 phone calls throughout the whole ordeal. In the end, he only paid for some of the glass to be replaced because he thought it was too pricey....despite the fact that I faxed him the price quote from Michaels. I DO NOT recommend this store unless you want lies and damaged merchandise from the owner, the manager and the employees. I had to give it 1 star on the rating only because the site required me to do so. read more

Will echo other posts on the poor customer service. The same elderly gentleman I always see here is surly and gruff. Today I heard him say to someone "let me get rid of all these people first"... referring to the 4 of us in line. Pretty bad. Will probably look for another place from now on. read more
