The woman at the counter didn't even know how to adjust the printer settings and she also pushed out several "test" prints on my credit card without even looking at a preview. Also we were looking for a poster to be made as a backdrop and signs for our wedding. The staff not only made it easy, gave us a discount and had the order with in days. Definitely easy to work with and quality products at a reasonable cost, for any occasion. Every year we have our Christmas cards made with staples. JAMBO Awesome Crew in Danvers. 5 STARS. Friendly, helpful, and great team work. First review I've ever done, because these employees were all excellent. Surprising today to get people to go out of their way to help customers especially me I'm technically challenged. I had 4 different training manuals printed and spiral bound and the staff worked well together to help me. My phone was not transferring two files so they used usb to send the flies from my computer. Heres the RAVING FAN review. I got in my car today when I went to pick them up I was so excited to get a first peak at them and one of them was backwards. I went into the store and immediately I was attended to & a new one was bound in minutes with an apology. Things go wrong there were 2 cover pages easy mistake, but when you have a team of employees who care to get it right & treat customers right it warrants A 5 STAR REVIEW. Hope Staples management team reads this, because these guys deserve recognition it's rare to have a group work so seamlessly well together. Went to travel services (TSA Pre) and the lady there is extremely rude.... Stated that the person I was waiting for needed privacy and I can't be "sitting there staring into the room- privacy issues" yet she has the door wide open and a sofa directly next to the door. I get privacy concerns then if it's such an issue then do better with the placement, environment and surroundings. Other than that can't complain, other worker directed me to the bathroom, very nice (the staples worker). read more

You should always be able to choose zero stars. Set up a TSA approval prior to a trip. Drove an hour out of the way on a business day to get my fingerprints taken only to have a sales associate tell me "it was closed, they don't have staff and we *should* have received a cancellation email." First of all we received a confirmation email that morning, second, the amount of money that my partner and I lost on being able to do work while on the road is ABSURD. These people can't send out cancellation emails, never mind properly process your order or print jobs in a timely fashion. If I could invoice Staples for our time and gas I would. Some of the Staff at service desk are helpful ask for Darren. Checkout associates like most Staples need training, usually don't know how to do coupons/ rewards cards. Last time I went one of the floor associates was sitting at computer in aisle and all you could see was her nice whale tail...... If you know what I mean. Mentioned it it to the manager but he did not seem to care. Not a very pleasant image walking down the aisle!!! AVOID THE COPY CENTER !!!! At all cost there's one woman there who thinks she's the brains of the operation with the worst CRY FACE EVER !! The copy machines where replaced with new ones, I think that's awesome good for them ! So at that time the self service ones where not ready to use yet ! So this CRY FACE LADY...LURKS over and said HEY stop messing with those copiers they're not set up yet !!!! I said ok !! Can you make me 10 quick copies off this one sided page it would only take about 1 minute or so from your behind the counter copy machine?....since your self service ones DON't work !!!!!!! She replied and said O''''.....NOOO....that would take too much time for us to do !!! But you would have thought that I was in line to buy tickets to Mick Jagger's last live performance with how long it was taking the cashiers to take care of their respective customers. I needed help printing a pdf file. I told them that I did not know how to do it and I tried doing it step-by-step it didn't work I tried doing it step-by-step again and it still didn't work. I had asked for a help at the customer service and they refused to help me. Then I practically begged them to help me and they told me they couldn't to try it again and wait so I went over to the tech center to speak with the manager and he wouldn't help either he told me he had nothing to do with that Dept! After their techs ruined one compute and replaced it, they try to rip us off some more with the next one. Bruce LeBlanc who makes the Executive decisions at Corporate is well aware of the fraud their store associates do and will let you get ripped off. Never buy the total support from Staples for your laptop, they will lie and say it needs a system restore every time and you will lose everything on your computer, a system restore that you can do yourself, and then they will charge you another $70 to save anything on your computer before they do. This place is a JOKE, a simple print job nothing complicated takes 4-5 hours as stated by the one of two people operating this store. The management staff could care less about their customers needs. This place needs an over haul with its management for having such poor service in the afternoon. If i had the option to not give a star i would. Save yourself the time and energy and just avoid this location. We got our printing done within 5 mins and all we had to do was drive to FED-EX KINKOS where they were super helpful. read more

Went in earlier this week to get some supplies for a school project. What I thought would be a few cheap things I needed turned into a lot more than expected. The last item on my list was just a few sheets of black paper. Asked the manager for some help since I couldn't find any, two of them went to work looking for me but all we could find left was a $10 pack of about 150 sheets of card stock. Way more than I needed or could spend on 10 sheets. The manager very generously offered it to me at the price of the construction paper I had originally been looking for. I brought in a simply made yearbook with a plastic binding and about 65 pages. Two younger women helped me with the order, trying to get me the best deal which was cool. At first they quoted the printing job at around $4500 (for 180 copies). Then one woman puts in a coupon (?) and gets it down to $2500. I'm still not clear on the prices and how one coupon can bring down the price that much. Not that I'm complaining about the discount, but the whole pricing process was not transparent at all. There's nothing to look at, it's all on their computers and we just have to take their word for it. But the real reason I'm giving the 1 star is what followed.. So the young women promised that their color copier was broken and would be fixed within a day or so. They said by Saturday you'll get your order. Saturday came and I showed up. They sent my order somewhere else and it isn't ready. By Monday it will be in. Monday comes. I show up. The order hasn't even been made yet. The woman at Staples calls to say can I send in a pdf of my project because the Word doc is messing up. I said, "this was supposed to be done last Saturday and you're only now making it??" She said, "Well I don't know why they would tell you last Saturday," as if "they" are someone other than Staples employees! Tuesday comes. Still not there. Wednesday it shows up. The final yearbooks looked good, but the ordering process and payment was really dodgy. The kicker was when I told my employees at work they said, "Yeah. That's Staples. Josh C. was especially rude and condescending. Someone from higher management definitely needs to speak to him about the way he speaks/presents himself to customers. Went to the staples copy center at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers to have 5 copies enlarged. I asked the girl there to enlarge the 5 copies. I was told that she was extremely busy and that I would have to pick them up the next day. REALLY 5 ENLARGEMENTS!!! Drove to the Staples at the Danvers Plaza on Newbury Street and the gentleman there enlarged the copies for me and it took less than 1 min. I swear I always have issues at their Copy Center. Went in today to ask for 25 color copies on thicker paper for our show tickets. She said the best she could do was 7:00 tomorrow- which didn't work for me. I asked about the 1-hour print that the website boasts and she said "We're like really busy" and pointed to some books, as if that meant anything. So I decided to print a copy and use the self copier, even though I couldn't do thick paper. They have this really great "PrintMe" thing, so I emailed the doc and got a "Sorry it can't be processed email" so I asked the lovely gem behind the counter. She said "huh that's weird" and starts looking through my e-mails like the answer is going to be there. She said it was because I had sent a word document and their copies cant copy from a word doc... ??? Then, she said "I can copy it for you, it would take 20 minutes and I would have to charge you a 5$ rush fee" A rush fee because your equipment isn't working?? hahah I went on the computer myself, printed and copied it. Oh and then I got an email that it worked. The girl said at least 3 times that she could do my job "for a rush fee of course"... Oh, of course. there is not much 'super' about this super store. i was looking for a file sorter to put bills and letters in ... their selection was meager and the prices were very high so i moved on. next i looked for stickers that are little coloured dots. finally found someone to ask where they were and they had 1 type. they were expensive. they had stickers in several places in the store. the ones with skulls were priced right, but wouldn't work for my purposes. i'm not impressed overall with their inventory of office supplies. read more

I went into this Staples on a Thursday afternoon to see about ordering a battery for an older laptop. The gentleman found it in their system and ordered one for me. He told me it would take a couple of days, but because of the weekend, it might not show up until Monday. He said he'd call me when it came in. No one called, so on the following Weds. I called them and was told that it wasn't in yet, but should be in before the weekend. They said they'd call when it came in. No call. So I stopped in Sunday morning. The girl at the tech desk managed to find the paperwork for the order but not the battery. She didn't know what to do. So she said she'd talk to the manager when he was available and that he'd at the very least figure out what was going on and give me a call. No call. So I called right before they closed Sunday night, and was told they couldn't figure it out, so they were leaving a message for some guy that was coming in Monday who could definitely figure it out and he'd call me. Guess what? No call. So Tuesday I call up a bit ticked off, the kid I talked to was clueless about the situation or how to handle it but promised to have someone call me. Surprise, surprise! He called me back and they had found the battery. He said it would be there for me to pick up at my earliest convenience. So I stopped in Weds. (1 week, 6 days later) and at first, no one could find it. But after 3 people ran around in circles they located it in a random drawer. Now, I understand orders get screwed up and misplaced. That's fine. Sh*t happens. The reason I'm giving them this rating is for the MULTIPLE times I was promised call-backs to keep me in the loop and was completely blown off. i happen to be near this one staples & asked for help with omnitech shredder. never once was i advised to go to original store. i was asking for my warranty info (that i purchased thru staples) for my shredder stopped working. one of the manager said they could "not" pullthat up but could replace with equal value or even a little more. never happened they advised me of 3 other stores that may have it. i just called the warranty company (square trade)they advised they were suppose to give me a new in exchange because i was in the first year warranty!!! i will n e v e r purchase anything form they again- especially from the very rude "danvers store" where no one (i had 3 people helping me they had on head sets talking to themselves n o t to me, contradicting each other as what to say to me). i had to drive to another staples they "did not help me there"!!! read more
