I go to the UPS store on James Redmond Highway, Plant city Florida. This place is awesome. The guys in there are always there to help you out. I've had a lot of help from Nate and most recently. I had from Brian. They are awesome associates. They are and this place is always neat and clean. They always a big high. How are you. They are right next to you if you need any help with printing or any of your shipping needs. Brian and Nate go above and beyond to help every person that comes through that door. I have been there often and it's the same thing every time I walk in the door they greet you. Hi how are you? They know if you need any help with are right there for you. The whole crew is awesome. I go there for all my shipping needs and I let my friends n family now this is definitely the place to go for all your shipping and printing needs. It's interesting to read these terrible reviews, some mentioning one man specifically who just so happens to continue working there 6 months later. I had the misfortune of having to deal with him today. I walked in with my husband and we were polite. He gave me a death stare as if I was satan himself. Had an attitude and looked like he preferred a painful death over being fortunate to have a job that pays his bills. Worst customer service. Part of me wondered if it was because I'm gay, but after seeing the other reviews, it appears his nastiness and attitude do not discriminate. The fact that UPS talks out of their ass in these replies and still hasn't bothered to investigate and have him fired speaks volumes. Don't waste your time here. Go to FedEx. read more

What a joke, The heavy set guy with the beard is a joke and should never be allowed to work in the public arena. He has no clue how to treat customers. I have walked into this store before and noticed him talking down to people as if they were incompetent, they were just asking questions on what the process is to return something. I had an Amazon package to return and was treated like I was an idiot because I didn't have a QR code because Amazon didn't send it. This clown at the counter could only say QR Code nothing else. By the third time I asked if there was another way of returning it , he just replied QR code. WOW! Get an education! UPS you can do better than this. They only get 1 star because they actually do all returns, But...... they make you feel like you are disturbing their day by coming in to do business. Every time I come here I feel like im a nuisance to them. But it is the only ups store in my area. Its every employee. I cant even call one out because they all hate their jobs. I use this location for all of my amazon returns and shipping items to my grand children. They do get the items to their destination better and faster then usps. The customer service is lacking. I never understand why people working in the public are just plain hostile and mean. All I did was walk in to the UPS store to return an Amazon package. I walked in said hi and was met with an absolutely look of disgust on the employees face. He said "over here"and walked to the register. I said I had a package to return and he said "yea" like I asked him for a huge favor. The took the package scanned it said "here" handed me the receipt. WTF. How mean and rude. Totally depends on what is important to you. I use this location regularly for shipping and returns. They are always pretty quick and the location is convenient for me. The job gets done efficiently. However, if you expect service with a smile you should go elsewhere. You never see a smile or a friendly hello. I will definitely continue to use this location because it is convenient, and like I said the job gets done. I don't love that they are so unfriendly though. Update: I actually wrote this review a while back and didn't realize it never posted. In the last several months or so, a new employee has come on board. A young black man. Unlike the other employees he is pleasant and even a bit friendly at times. At least 1 or 2 of the other white guys that have been there long term are still employed there. No change. Still as unfriendly as ever. Must suck to be that miserable. read more

First time in this plant city ups store. 3 guys working. The young fat one who "waited" on me was obnoxious, rude and had zero customer service skills. He wouldn't even look at me when speaking to me. He said i needed to email the ups label to him and instead of just saying it, his laziness just kept tapping the piece of paper taped to the front of his register which forced my disabled self to painfully hobble around the counter to read the sign. Then he started complaining to another guy how slow the computers were but made a point of saying 2x that he was NOT going to be bothered to rectify the problem. When he returned with my label he asked where my package was without even looking at me. I has left the package on the other side of the counter where i was originally standing and because he was too rude to even look up & i was in pain i used my cane to slide it in front of him. He held out my receipt without even looking at me, again, so damn rude. I took it and left. I will never return to this store if this is how he is allowed to treat customers. This jerk doesn't deserve to work there or anywhere with his disgusting attitude. The black guy behind the counter wasn't mistreating his customers. And the 3rd guy there, another white guy, just stood behind the wall silently watching this interaction and said nothing. If one of these other two guys was a manager, they should be ashamed for letting this jerk treat customers like this. I would rather drive all the way to the Valrico ups store where all the staff are courteous than be mistreated by this fat slob again. read more

I concur with the other one star reviews on this business. First and last time in this location. Three guys working and all act completely annoyed at a consumer coming in, asking a question or any other manner of service. They even went so far as to gossip about each customer openly after the walked out the door, rolling their eyes. Really disappointing to see a small, privately owned company perform like this, hope the owner sees this and starts to put some effort into providing better service. read more

I worked for The UPS store for years. I loved my job. I now have a small business that requires The UPS Store often. This is the 3rd time in two weeks, after 930am, the computers weren't logged into. But thats not the real problem here. Its the rude gentleman that work there. If you do not want to work in the customer service business, then DON'T! It is very often customers are treated as if we are interrupting their day by coming in. ENOUGH is ENOUGH! There is one younger black gentlemen with long hair, that helps with a smile. Thank you ! I mailed a check from this location return receipt on October 15. This year. I used the UPS store instead of USPS because I needed something printed to go in my envelope. My check has yet to be received the US postal service says that they have no record of my envelope being received by them. I went to the UPS store with my receipt and they were so rude un helpful looked at me like I was from another planet. As far as I know my envelope is still sitting in their office some where. They refused to help me look for it. They blamed the post office who have no record of ever receiving the envelope. I would not recommend useing this place for anything! I am still trying to find my envelope with my check. Oh and they charged me double what USPS would have charged me to send the same thing! Double the price and no tracking in their system that I was ever there even though I have a receipt from them go figure! read more

I haven't had to have much done at this UPS store besides drop off packages that are already paid for and labeled, but each time I have been in there the customer service always seems to be great. They never want to have anyone waiting in line, and if there is someone ahead of me I am always acknowledged. The staff has always been friendly. read more

It was late at the end of the day when I came in to drop off a package I had already printed and paid for, and my driver was late for a pick up that i already called in. Well I brought the box into the front and handed it to the kid working there with the blonde hair. There was a line of people waiting and I did not have time to wait for him to accept it and give me a receipt i barely had time to stop as it was, but I assumed that was okay. Boy was I wrong. by the next morning I never received the confirmation that my package was delivered (overnight priority). It actually hadn't even been scanned as received. I go back and talk to the guy, he said maybe the driver didn't scan it to wait, and to call the 800 number. I called the 800 number and they had no knowledge of the package because it was never received by ups. Long story short, my package was never shipped because someone at this location decided that they wanted it more. The package was quite valuable and I did pay for insurance but since the package was never scanned into the system so I am not covered. I am out complete of $3000 and the employees of this store were of absolutely so help and said they gave it to the driver when he did his daily pick up. I happen to personally know the driver for this route and know for fact he is quite good at doing his job and I know for fact he would've scanned it if the package has indeed been given to him. My advice to anyone needing to use UPS, go online and print the label yourself, it will be a lot cheaper anyways and then call and have a driver come to you and pick it up. You cant tell me that of the thousands of packages I send out every year, that the only one I didn't get a receipt for got lost? I highly doubt that. I wouldn't ship anything through this store, I wouldn't get a mailbox here or anything as it is not safe. If you HAVE TO drop off here, BE SURE TO GET A RECEIPT YOU MAY NEVER SEE OR HEAR ABOUT THAT PACKAGE AGAIN read more

Honestly they don't deserve any stars. I tried to return two packages from Amazon and homie tried to charge me $70 a piece. And everybody knows that Amazon has free returns. They were definitely trying to scam me out of some money, go to any other UPS store if you like to keep your money. And yes it did happen, man who responded to my review. It smelled like a giant cigarette in there and the bigger guy with a full brown beard and hat looks unprofessional and is very short in conversation and rude. My wife was in the store to drop off some returns the guy taking the packages was obviously in a bad mood he was rough with the packages and rude to my wife . As my wife left the store I asked him if he liked his job . He was again trying to ignore me but as I got more to the point that he was being rude he just wanted to argue and tell me I'm making a big deal out of nothing . All I was trying to do was point out that he represented the ups store and should have better customer service . I will be using fedex or usps instead from now on as he said we were now banned from the store .
