I visited this UPS store today to have my driver's license and SSAN sent into the government for verification. This is the second visit to this UPS and one of the photo IDs did not take and I was informed to return to resubmit. There was only one person working and people lined out the front door plus a sign on the machine that it was out of order. I tried to ask a question if there was another UPS close by that could take care of me. The employee was so rude, and she snapped no, can't you read the sign it is out of order. She was rude to almost all she assisted while we were waiting. UPS does not need someone like this working for them, and this store appears to have employees like this all over. I don't recommend this UPS for any type of service a person may need. Now because she was alone was maybe the reason for the frustration and if that is so the manager should make sure there are enough employees to take care of customers. read more

The staff isn't particularly friendly and they don't come to help with your packages. The door swings out and you have to juggle everything while they stand and watch. read more

Had a UPS package delivered to us that was for the previous owners. UPS truck wouldn't take the pakage back, told us to go to UPS Store on Aqui Esta. Brought the package to the UPS Store on Aqui Esta, the employee was rude and said to give it to the UPS driver. WTF? I don't have a business, but if I did I'd exclusively use FEDEX. read more

I went to return an Amazon package, as usual. The younger guy with a headband told me it's $23 to put my return (a box) into another box. First time a UPS store ever hesitated, let alone try to charge $20+ for a moving box. read more

Everytime I go in to ship Amazon returns, I experience the same rude dude. They make it very known that they don't want to accept them. Refused to help me. Was a total d-head the whole time. Said he doesn't know why they have Amazon. They have to, but not happily! I've never experienced this at other UPS stores & unfortunately it's the only store in my area. I think this UPS Store is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that the exact SAME STAFF are there every time I go... they don't have a rotating door of rude and incompetent employees. I just can't anymore with this location, the male that works there is just incredibly rude, today was the 3rd strike, I'll drive into Port Charlotte for all my shipping needs. I don't even care that this place is 5 min from my house. Never once have i been in there and he's been pleasant. Even when he isn't the one helping me he's rude to whoever he is helping. Please do yourselves and PGI a favor and do not use the store for any UPS packages. They are a disgrace to the UPS name. I showed up today at 2:57 PM and they are suppose to close at 3:00 PM. I was standing at the door with my packages in my arms, and the owner and two employees were behind the counter. I knocked on the door, and they refused to look up. I continued to knock until the owner came to the door and said, "We are closed...quit knocking on the door." I held up my phone and showed him it said 2: 57pm. He closed the door and locked it, I continue to hold up the phone but he walked away. I rushed to get there. I needed to get this package out today, but they can't even respect the hours that they post for the public. If they want to leave at three, they should post their closing time as 2:45pm. I took this picture on my phone just to prove this happened. This is the time I left and the store still shouldn't have been closed. I have heard so many complaints about the store, and today I found out why. They don't care about customers and they should lose their franchise license! I also spoke to the post lady who was getting the mail outside their office during this whole debacle, and she told me they always close early so they can count the money and get everything done so they can leave at 3 PM. Again, that is not what their posted business hours say. If they want to be out of there by 3pm close earlier...let the public know you were going to do it by posting different hours! read more

I've had a business mailbox here for several years and found the staff to always be very friendly and helpful. I'm often dropping off packages and have used their business services as well. I didn't notice any change in ownership. If it changed, the staff didn't. The services has been continuously great for the years that I've had my mailbox there. read more

if i could write this review about the worst customer service on the planet without giving a star i would unbelievable. we shipped a neon sign valued at 695.00. they could not pack it. they told us to build a wooden crate to keep it safe. we did. they threw off a truck- the box has a crushed corner- but the box is intact. the sign is shattered inside. they refuse to pay the claim- now saying it is because they did not pack it!!!! what a disruptuable store. every single employee weighed in on how to protect it. they never even delivered the sign- shipped it back to punta gorda and alex who recieved it did not even have the courtesy to call us. never will i ever use that substation. ups delivery in milan ohio and strongsville ohio....you are a total 3$%$-show. ups did not deliver the package and yet they charged us for the shipping and never even offered to return the money. i cant even............. read more

I've had to drop off several items for my auction company and have never had an issue, nor have my customers. The owners Alex and Allison are so nice and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff. Everyone always greets me with a friendly hi and are always in able to answer any questions. I have dropped off items for packing and shipping from little to big, fragile and non fragile. with no issues and no complaints from my auction customers. They always go the extra mile to answer all my pesky questions! Not only is the location convenient for me, but I know I'm in good hands leaving my items with them. Highly recommend. read more

The new owners, Alison and Alex are great (ignore old reviews). From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was different from other UPS stores I've used in the past. Everyone working here is very friendly, skilled, and they all go out of their way to be helpful. Whenever I receive packages, someone always offers to help me carry them out to my car! Extremely poor attitude and lack of any customer service. Every time I have tried to drop something up for UPS pick up, they have refused it. If you want to be treated rudely, pay ridiculously high prices and support a business that could care less about you, the customer, then this is the store for you. But since Christmas is a little over two weeks away and there was only one customer in the store, that should have been the tip off. read more
