This is the closest location to my home, so I've come here a few times over the past month. Parking is a BEAST, so be prepared to have to park across the street in the Walmart parking lot if nothing is available in front of the store. Once you're able to get inside, you should be met by friendly and helpful staff like I was. The store is always organized, clean, & tidy when I go. This UPS store is located in a shopping plaza with other businesses. Because of the location of the store and the way the parking lot is constructed it can be a little hard getting into or out of the parking lot. I came here to drop off a pre-paid postage package. The line was kind of long when I walked in but moved fairly quickly. The drop off process was quick and easy and the package made it to the destination in a timely manner. read more

I go here a lot because its an Amazon return drop off. I mean these people are patient and kind and really nice. It's impressive.

I will start with ridiculous and end with slime balls. I went in with my package ready to go. All shipping label and package. I just needed the plastic envelope that they provide for FREE at any UPS drop box locations. However this location charged me almost $3 for a supply they get for free. Why didn't I walk out, because my time is worth more than $3 to goto nearest Dropbox. Way to not get my business moving forward and give me a reason to rip your pathetic business practices. These people are completely illiterate. I called to schedule an appointment for fingerprinting and was told over the phone that I needed to make an appointment online, which i did. I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early only for the associate to tell me o needed to make an appointment through the fingerprinting portal system. Ummmmm, do you mean to tell me that I took OFF of work only for you guys to tell me I can't be fingerprinted due to your misguided instructions of scheduling an appointment. I would not suggest anyone come here. These people are uneducated and have no clue what they are doing. They will have you wasting your time and money. read more

Until today, I would have give this UPS store at least 4 stars. It always depends on who is working to determine what type of service you get but today, I would give zero stars. I go to this particular UPS frequently for print jobs. I usually pay $1 and some change for one page. Today, Amanda (the manager) tried to charge me over $2 for one page and proceed to tell me, it's always been that price... she is a liar. She would have been better off saying, they had to go up on prices because of the current issues. There is a little ship-it shop right down the street... I will go there for now on... They scanned a bar code twice for two different items that are suppose to be returned to Amazon for a refund, but did not even scan the 2nd barcode and it is showing that it has not been received. I will never use this store again. My online business is ruined because of them. They do not scan packages in as received on time. They say that if a package is dropped off by 6:30, it will be picked up. It is very frequently not. Sometimes our packages don't show up as being received until 11 AM the next day. This has caused many of my shipments to be late and has caused me to lose my ability to sell on amazon. When I lived in Durham, I never had any issues with UPS or my local UPS store. The store was nice and clean but that was about the only thing I can say. The worker wouldn't look me in the eyes, was very short and made me feel as if I was messing up his day. Guy at counter wanted to charge me a $1.00 to put a small piece of tape on package. I thought he was joking at first. I know times are hard but, come on UPS. I went next door and asked to if I could have tape a piece of tape and they were more than happy to help. My package already had an UPS label on it so, it was guaranteed I was going to use UPS service and not leave. [Location] This is a small UPS shipping/printing store sitting beside Payless Shoes, in the same shopping center as Walmart, at the corner of New Bern and New Hope. Normally I refrain from reviewing chain, but I have to give props to the only lady braving that store most of the time. I ship small stuffs from this location all the time, but today I had to send something back home to Taiwan. Not only did she help me find the correct postal code, and when she told me that it would cost twice as much to ship it than what I paid for it, I was in a bit of shock. However, she did not hesitate to suggest that after looking at the system US Post Service can ship it for half as much. Kudos to you! read more

They are always very pleasant and greet me as soon as I walk in the door. They're very quick and helpful with the shipping options and such. I hardly ever write reviews. Please DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I'm unsure as to what happened, but I have to tried to return a package and have been going back and forth. I checked the tracking number that I was given, but it does not match up with the content in which I tried shipping. I double backed with the store to retrieve each tracking number within that month and time period just to make sure I wasn't accidentally given the wrong number or if I put the wrong one in myself. None of the numbers matched up. I am unsure as to what happened. I shipped two packages out the same day, but besides that I am at a loss. It was a return package for a lens I had purchased a bit back. Now I have a lens floating around who knows where and am out almost $600. read more

I use this store regularly and most of my service is based on Amazon returns. Most of the time I use a QR code which is a quick process but there's been times Amazon doesn't give a QR code and emails the label with a note saying the UPS store will package and mail the item. When I stated that, Shawn wanted to argue with me on how wrong I was for my information. As I walked away to get my wallet to pay, he made a comment that " I'm wrong but want to be so right!" I explained I respect the fact he works there and knows more than me about packaging but I'm stating what Amazon said and not trying to be right. When I asked for his name his response was "you've gotta be kidding!". I've never had such disrespect and negativity from anyone at this location. This place has their stuff together. I have dropped off all types of packages at the last minute, he's always polite and more than happy to help. Don't try to drop off HAZMAT to any store location. The Owner knows the PO Box Customers by face and he has a lot of Customers. Feels like a neighborhood business that is a staple of the humanity needed for people to feel loved and appreciated.
