Without a doubt this UPS has the WORST customer service. They love to tell you what they cannot do. Everyone seems miserable at their jobs. I typically go to the UPS Store in Encinitas (shout out) they are beyond accommodating & helpful. Twin Oaks UPS hassles you about everything. Today the guy wouldn't let me leave my USPS package (small package) bc 'we're pretty full' that's after I paid $3 for a printout of the label. Sometimes if I'm in SM I will reluctantly go in but NEVER AGAIN. Absolutely terrible customer service and attitude. read more

I avoid this location as much as I can but unfortunately it's right around the corner from my house but everytime I walk in, it's such a heavy and horrible feeling because of how rude they are to customers. If i could give less stars it would be negative, to that rude overweight and short hispanic lady employee, please do better especially during the holiday season. You're rude gesture shows your character, lines of people were by the door and i get it you were overwhelmed but to make a remark and make people feel stupid about trying to manually do a return on the terminal that is supposed to be your job is complete incompetence. They were nice and explained why I had to box my Amazon return as compared to all the other UPS stores that just told me that's the way it is. $1.50 later for a padded envelope that 5 for $1.25 at the dollar store seemed a bit much but brick and mortar stores have to make a living somehow. Oop just looked at other reviews and it seems many people agree with the unhelpful staff at this location. I asked for assistance carrying two big shipments that were in my car, from the two full grown men working there- only one other costumer was in there standing off to the side. They seemed uninterested. I didn't want to have to explain that my shoulder was still in recovery so I dragged them in myself. Then they didn't know how to issue return labels so I dragged these big bags inside by myself just to drag them back out by myself. They were standing there helpless/super awkward!! Anyways wierd vibes and would rather drive further to avoid interacting with them again... Just an idea! If you're so miserable working somewhere, then just simply don't! I had several packages to ship today, some were quite heavy. One of them, Amazon had sent me wrong product. In the return, I was not aware that I had to tape the box. The chubby lady in the front wanted to charge excessively for 3 inches of tape. She was extremely rude. Such a perpetual loser!, this lady should not be employed in a customer service role. The people that work here are so rude, rush you and treat you like trash. I hate going here and avoid it at all costs. I plan my returns around when I'm not local whenever my shipments aren't urgent. The women are awful, the men are polite but not overly accommodating. Nothing compared to the kind men in Carlsbad coastal poinsettia location. The women here though are consistently awful, I stack my returns and do 5 ish at once. I come as prepared as possible. I have all my QR codes ready but sometimes the are finicky or take me a second to identify one from the other. She has told me to hurry up or wait in the back of the line once I've waited 20 mins for my turn. This is me taking 1 min max between returns and literally one second in most cases. She will do it intentionally to be rude when she can see I'm hurrying; loudly saying "next" before she has done sealing the package I gave her already, It doesn't have to be this way, I go here when I have to, and I dread it. I still drive well out of my way most of the time to avoid this nonsense. read more

Customer service was horrible . They Rejected our packages before Christmas because they couldn't fit our packages inside their room so they said they would leave them outside . They also said people on occasion can walk and steal their packages if left outside after hours. The manager and helper , both females are horrible. Plus they allowed a white lady customer come inside after hours . Go figure. I told them why would they treat us this way when customers actually pay for their salary. Their response was they doubted it. Please beware of these two Hispanic women, that need a lesson on customer service. read more

I just had some unpleasant experiences with the staff at this location this morning and interestingly there were several similar issues that people complained about. I had one AMZ package that needed to be returned. The instructions clearly stated that no additional boxes needed, yet I was told twice that I either needed to put it into a box or a bag and sealed it when the item was already in a bag and taped. A female staff asked me if I wanted to purchase a box, and I said no and went home to get a bag. When I went back 2nd time, it was a male staff who literally told me that my bag wasn't tapped and it would cost $1 for him to tape it or I could buy tapes at the store. I understand that they need to sell boxes and tapes to make money, but it seems absurd that they would charge customers $1 to tape their bags‍. I went to Ralph's next door and asked the staff there to give me some tapes without a problem. Guess I will take the packages to either a different location or to Kohl's in the future. Don't bother to email them to complain because they are not going to take it seriously and improve. read more

Wife went here a couple of days ago & said it wasn't a simple task as she felt the young man there was trying to discourage her from leaving a Amazon return because he stated it wasn't in the original box (was in the appliance box in tact however). I've dropped off pants in a ziplock bag in Temecula and they graciously took them as long as I had the shipping label & packing slip as they informed me they take care of packing it. Now I see why this location has a lot of complaints as they make it complicated to get out of doing services stated they're supposed to provide and rude just to get out of doing their job. I go here practically on a weekly basis. The past few months the people working there have been rude & hold an attitude like customers are bothering them. It's their job to help. I first hand have seen them talk under their breaths or to each other about customers in line. Very unprofessional. Beware if returning Amazon products from here. Twice I've been told they never received the packages from here. So now I make sure I see the customer service person place the label on before I leave & get a receipt. Accessibility: the only accessible/handicap parking is many doors down in front of another store and over by the grocery store; this is also where the only ramps to get onto the sidewalk are. The door to enter is a pull door and inside it is carpet and very spacious. Experience: I had a great experience here! I came on a Saturday afternoon and they were not busy at all. I came in with a package and a return label, the guy behind the counter greeted me, took my package, said he would take care of it, gave me a receipt and I was on my way out! I was literally inside the store for 4 to 5 seconds, no joke. It was incredible. I definitely recommend this store if you need to ship UPS. read more

My company has a corporate account with UPS and our spend is likely half a million per year. It's just too much trouble to ask this franchise store to tape up a few boxes after I bring them in and scan them in myself using the kiosk. When I mentioned that Fed Ex had no trouble providing this basic customer friendly gesture for years, I got nothing but attitude from the 16 year old Rep, and then a lecture from the Store Manager. I bought my own tape and taped them myself-- it took two minutes, but cost $6 for the roll of tape. As a small business owner myself-- do better! It is 2:20 PM on a Wednesday afternoon and there's a line and I've been waiting for about 6 to 8 minutes now to find that there is a second employee in the back just sitting there not doing anything come out and help your coworker instead of just sitting back there doing nothing and waiting for this line to stack up I don't think that's good. I should honestly be on a first name basis with this store for all the Amazon returns I bring here. So I might be a little biased but I love this location. I'm sure they're dealing with A LOT of unhappy customers but I get it. Overall they're pretty patient and polite. I once walked in and asked if I could borrow their dolly, they obliged and I returned back with 15 amazon packages and I could see the fear in their eyes lol. They didn't even offer to hold the door open for me, another customer had to help as I finagled a fully stocked dolly through the narrowest doorway but that's ok..why? Cause I got myself into this mess and I learned a valuable lesson that day of which I will never return 15 oversized packages in one go. But I was in and out in less than 5 mins cause I had all my QR codes ready to go. Organized and efficient. I could tell there was an unspoken gratitude shared between the employee and myself that visit. I'll never forget it. read more

For dropping off a package this place was fine. They gave me a receipt as proof that I dropped off the package. Both employees greeted me and were friendly. I had no issues here. I came to this location about a month ago and was originally extremely frustrated. The employee helping me had me contact AT&T regarding my return order, and both sides kept blaming the other for not being able to resolve the issue of my information in their system. As I was supposed to come back into the store to grab my things after ending the call with AT&T, Chandler comes out to the front. If it were not for him, I would not be here writing this review. He not only fixed the issue in about 1/10 of the time, but he made everything right. I was so relieved and grateful for him and his customer service! Thank you Chandler! read more

Fool me once, your fault. Fool me twice, my fault! I've shipped plenty of 'free return' items from this store without any problems. It didn't matter the method of return- whether it was USPS or UPS. They've always taken it, scanned the package, given me a receipt...done and done. Not today. The woman (and I believe she is the owner) simply refused my package based on the label. She said they can't process 'USPS returns' since they won't be reimbursed. I asked if this was a new policy because I've always dropped packages off and they've happily accepted it without any problems before. She never answered me...just told me they couldn't accept the package. I won't be returning since their rules are inconsistent. read more

This is the worst UPS store. They are not helpful and they make up their own rules. I have always taken Amazon shipment their and never had any issues until recently. The employees in general have an attitude and are quick to point out why they can not ship a fully packaged item. Even when they told me just email us the label, it turned out they want to charge $2.50 for printing it. Just rude and should not be in a role of customer service. I have been in this store so many times I can't even count. I come in the store recently and for the first time ever, Im charged $2 for one label to be printed which I've never been charged for before. I get it but you don't charge repeat clientele for trivial things and you don't charge $2 for one little label...That's embarrassing. I'll no longer come to the store and that's sad because I have been coming here for years. For 2 bucks you lost my business...2 bucks... And since you've shared the amount you ship, as a defense for overcharging, I'm even more embarrassed that you feel the need to charge your customers additional fees. Awful features and service! It's 2020, 80% of printing service companies offer printers that features mobile printing, usb, disc, etc. and charges for the prints only HOWEVER this store charges for using "a computer to print." On top of that, rude service from a rude (later-aged) gentlemen. I'll take my money to FEDEX or other printing companies that are willing to help and fulfill my needs. Bring your devices to CVS, a few feet's away to make your prints. I had a usb, ready to print, and was informed it's $2.00 to use the computer to print.
