I've only ever used this store to return items from Amazon. They are quick, helpful efficient, and respectful. There usually isn't a line when I come and there are plenty of workers there in case they get backed up. There are plentiful PO boxes inside you can choose from and two computers, a printer and fax machine. They also have notary services for those in need. read more

I have used this store for many years as my mailing address. Several years ago we moved to over an hour away, but because these people are so nice, friendly and give great service, I will drive to this store. I am alwasy greated even if just picking upy mail. Service is the worst thing about this place there is a girl that works there seems somewhat young and she is really short there are two girls the other one is really nice, so is the man extremely helpful. Unfortunately they haven't helped me when I come in I always get the short one. But I see the interaction with other customers and they are friendly the other two employees. But the really short one ruins this store for me wish I had gotten her name she is extremely irritable and just not a nice person she needs to get another job where she doesn't deal with customers. I get people have bad days but this is the third time I've come to this store and she simply has an attitude. I went in trying to drop my package and I had to have my label printed a service they provide and she seemed irritated by it. It's your job and I'm paying for it. she seemed irritable that she had to wait for me to email it to them just an attitude the whole time. Thankfully the man stepped in and saw how long I was waiting and checked the email and confirmed it was me and printed the label and started assisting me. But the other short girl seemed irritable with everyone that came as I was waiting which was a while. This is not the first time I've dealt with her unfortunately this is the closest store to me. But reading the reviews of this store it seems she is a constant problem to this store. Thankfully there are a couple options for ups stores around here so I will drive the extra minutes to drop my packages instead of dealing with someone who seems to have an attitude for no reason. Wish I could give this place five stars because the other two employees were really nice but unfortunately I always have to deal with the short one the times that I have came here. First I'll say that in general, I prefer UPS over FedEx and this store is nice in that it's an actual UPS store. The staff here tend to be "hit and miss" in that sometimes they are friendly and helpful and other times, they are "Attitudy Judy" and not helpful or friendly. When this store is busy, the line can extend to the outside of the business. The store needs to improve their line queue as it's easy to walk past any makeshift line in the place. They could easily do this by hanging a cardboard arrow from the ceiling that says, "line starts here". All in all, this particular UPS store is OK. A few adjustments could get the business running a bit better for its customers. read more

I was so surprised after being given the runaround by UPS' corporate customer service online/phone service to go into the local store. Mike an owner of the store, helped us right away. I felt so bad because we work far from the store but it's right next to our house. I caught them just a few minutes before they closed but even still, Mike was so helpful. He didn't display any annoyance with the time of day or anything like that. He just listened to us and made our need a priority. I went in with the expectation that I'd have to fight for our claim based on the phone and online service that we'd received but I was pleasantly surprised to find a very agreeable and very helpful owner. The issue hasn't been completely resolved yet but I feel so confident that it will be. Mike was great. If only the online and phone "help" were as productive. Thanks to this UPS store! read more

What an awesome, family run business! I had a TON of Amazon returns and because I was in a hurry, I left before all of my returns were processed. It turns out that I accidentally included a return that should have been taken to Kohl's. One of the owners got in their car, came to my house (several miles away) and handed my husband the items that needed to be returned to Kohl's. In addition to this act of generosity, the entire family (father, mother, son and daughter) are just plain pleasant to deal with. Extremely expensive price gouging here. I could not believe how much it cost me to ship a small package weighing less than 1 pound. When entering the store I had to wait for a customer to finish having small talk with the only employee I could see. Service when it did occur was not friendly and I felt like an inconvenience to the employee. I forgot to bring a box for one of my Amazon returns and the guy rather rudely pointed that out. I decided to buy a small box since apparently I needed one and it was an absurd $5! I highly recommend just asking a place like Home Depot for a box and they will gladly give you one for free. One of the packages I brought in I had to buy a label/shipping which was fine, except the cheapest option was $20 for this almost weightless box and a delivery date 9 days later!! So not even fast shipping for that price. The most expensive option was an insane $160 and that was not even next day air, but 3 days later!!! Just absolutely insane. I live smack between this UPS Store and the San Marcos location. I hate (yes, a strong word!) the San Marcos location. I've been in there for different services (notary, shipping things, etc) and the woman (I believe she is the owner) is just too darn chatty about everyone's personal life and is so slow because she's chatty. When I had to return something via free UPS returns, I dreaded going to the San Marcos location. Yelp led me to this location. This spot is the place. Easy parking in front, unlike the other location. I walked in, return in hand. I was quickly greeted, handed over my return, and was on my way. No chit-chat, just friendly smiles. Easy. I complained about the stamps and $.30 over in charge of a post office, and she recommended self-addressed stamped. She was very thoughtful and very kind and had a beautiful smile. Very poor service. I live in a motor home and get boxes at UPS stores across the country for the several months I'm at any location. I've always had good service until this place. They lose packages all the time! Consistently lose packages!!!! The owner's son works there and is rude, dirty, and aggressive. I spoke with the owner about my problem and he told me that "in 8 years they've never had a problem so I'm the only one who's ever lost a package". That just simply couldn't be true. My experience with this store was pleasant enough. People are friendly and helpful. Just do not buy postage from them, I was charged $16.95 for stamps I later found I could have gotten from USPS for $12.60. I went back a second time to mail an oversized envelope and check the postage required. I was charged $4.85 for four .63 cent stamps. I guess I'm a slow learner. Ok to drop off Amazon returns, but otherwise way too expensive. read more

I use UPS for 90% of my Amazon returns. This family owned location is a corporate store and had upsold me on a return box/envelope when my return was a "no box, no label" needed. Ok, $4 sure. Another time, I knew I needed a label but used the option to "email to a friend." I learned this option from The UPS store by my work in Poway. But at this location, they tried to charge me $2! I get it, you're a business but the fact that I've had a better experience at the other UPS store by my work, I'll never come back to this location. KUDOS to the Poway location off Community and Poway rd..better customer service and doesn't try to upsell. read more

This location is terrible. I ordered online a print job, 30 copies of the most basic word document at 9am. It said it would be ready for pickup at 3:30pm, but when I went to pick it up it was not ready. Apparently over six hours is not a long enough amount of time for a single employee to hit the print button. I was told to come back over an hour later, less than 15 minutes before they close on a Saturday night, waiting and hoping that someone would actually do the job I paid them to do. They are closed on Sunday and I needed these printed for work on Monday. I am now left scrambling and stressed due to the incompetence of this location and will never be back. read more

I have been buying stamps here for two years. Today I actually looked at my receipt and was shocked as to how much it was. When I went back to see why it was so much I finally notified that they up charge USPS stamps. This would be fine, BUT put a sign up or notify customers of the upscale before they purchase. I am so upset that I have been overpaying for no reason. I honestly only bought here because it's close but paying $15 instead of $9 for a book of stamps is crazy. I was at this UPS store yesterday to return a package to Amazon. I misplaced my returning label. Melissa asked me to email her the label information and printed the label. She was very patient with me as she walked me through the process on my phone as to how to send her the address information to print the label. She was kind, efficient and courteous. I had been to another UPS Store in Escondido earlier and they tried to charge me for the "labor" of opening the email to get the Amazon return address and another charge to print the label. I had been looking for a Notary in my area north of a Escondido and was having no luck. One UPS store in Temecula the Notary was on the phone and would not be able to help for at least a hour. Others were either not available or were on call. I was in Escondido an at the time I looked up one close to the freeway I-15 and found the UPS Store on El Norte Pkwy. I called to see if the Notary was in and would it be possible to get a very important document. Yvonne said that she was the notary and yes she would be able to see me. Knowing that UPS stores can get busy with packages, mailing , wrapping and etc. I showed up in about fifteen minutes after my call. There was one lady that was being taken care of with shipping. Yvonne was helping her and she acknowledged that I would be helped shortly. Took a few minutes . She then asked if I was in need of a Notary, told her I was the one that called. She got right to work and no sooner she started four more customers came in. The owner jumped into action, seeing my transaction was taking a bit of time . He let all the customers know they would be taken care of apologized. By tat point we completed my transaction and I was done. I thanked her for her service knowing that notary can take some time and away from other customers. As I left I looked back and not one person had left. I was so impressed with the service that was provided and the great customer service they provided. Very professional, well organized, the store is clean and user friendly. LET ME TELL YOU THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER! I had the most confused and disrespectful customer service at this place today. They need serious training for their employees. Im a pretty positive person and never leave a bad review but these employees working here are completely unprofessional (3 girls working). First off i ask them how much does it costs to print the lady said $3 for 4 pages and never mentioned anything about the computer usage charge and I'm not intended to use the computer anyway. Then i sent them the documents from my phone to their email to print, i told her i only want to print a specific pages, she didn't want to print for me right on the spot but told me to go and use the computer in the front. She could have helped me to print right on the spot Its literally doesn't take 1' to print, i went to use the computer anyways and didn't think of anything. Then i started printing the documents came out all missing numbers, i ask them what happened they don't know. I showed the girls the documents on my phone she checked my original documents its all good on my end but from their computer it came out all missing numbers and columns. There was something wrong with their computer because on my phone the original document is fine. Then i took the screenshot on my phone and sent them the documents to print. When it comes to payment they charge me $20 for computer usage. I was shocked, they never mentioned anything about computer usage charge, i didn't even want to use the computer the short girl was lazy and told me to go use the computer in the front. I sent them the documents from my phone and its their responsibility to print it out, but she told me to go use the computer and print it myself and then pursuit to charge me for it without mentioning about the usage charge in the first place. She told me i used the computer for 20' which i didn't, i spent most of my time to organize my paper documents, i only use it for maybe 5' max. I only use it to print my documents because i sent every documents from my phone. At the end i told them I'm not gonna pay for the $20 because they never mentioned to me about the computer usage charge and i didn't even want to use the computer in the first place because the lady was lazy didn't want to print out the documents that I already sent it to them through my phone. This is the worst ups location, these employees here need serious training. I will be file a complaint with customer care and i request the owner/manager to reach out to me upon this matter. read more

I had some boxes of clothes for my sister that had been in my trunk long enough that she already moved and the tape was ruined. No problem here. They did the labeling, taping even covering up the old boxes I packed the clothes in. They are super friendly and professional and very clean in this time that its needed. Wheeewweee... We got ourselves a telephone tough guy here! Got to hear some guy (apparently manager) named Mike bully a woman over speakerphone. My wife lost the receipt with a tracking number and called in, trying to get it with credit card info/amount charged/other info, and this guy grabs the phone from another girl working there, snaps about how they're not liable for any packages (... We didn't think they were unless they were insured? Not relevant) and then snaps at my wife to come and go through a huge rubber band roll of receipts with "500-700" receipts in it (probably also not good, considering that lets us go through every customer's personal info for that day). My wife, shocked, paused and then said sure, and that was the conclusion of the phone call. Real outstanding managers UPS! read more
