Not sure why the negative reviews here. I needed to get a few things done while buying a house remotely and moving out of state, and the ladies at this UPS store were beyond great! Sure, this location gets very busy, I spent enough time here getting my stuff done to see how many people were coming and going, and in spite of seeming overwhelmed, the ladies working here helped everyone as promptly as humanly possible. I had to get documents printed, notarized, scanned, and shipped, then on a different day I had to also buy boxes and ship them out, and I was happy to have worked with such professional people. True story, on August 27, 2025 I came home t byo find a UPS notice on my outside door. I knew I had missed a package from my mother who just came back from Paris, France. There was a hoodie with the Eiffel Tower on it for me & a Louis Vuitton purse for Brittany. On the 28th I called my mom as I stood in front of my building for about 2 hours I saw a blonde hair female delivered something to the last building just before Rainier & Jackson. She then headed my way but stopped at the auto shop on 14th & Washington which is next door to me. She never came to my building but lied and said she did, she did the same thing on August 29, 2025 and lied again on a Holiday weekend the package is already missing or headed back to Chicago. UPS has a serious problem because they are not in the business of delivering packages, they are in the business of bullshit. My mother paid good money to send me & Brittany gifts from Paris and UPS employees are so disrespectful and full of hatred they will have to deal with something called karma because doors do close permanently. read more

All follow up calls made go straight to voicemail. $75 worth of returns...at least Amazon is willing to deal with it. But this store is a joke. DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE! They always have a line out the door. Never leave packages that are already paid for and addressed with these people. It will Never Arive! if you want to stand in line you can get a receipt that you dropped it off. Then it will go out. never trust them with a drop box or packages that you have all ready to go. Even if they take them from you and set it down in their outgoing packages, dont trust them. You better have your receipt because these employees will lie or never send it out. My iphone never made it back to the carrier even though it was already labeled and put behind the counter, it never arrive. that cost me $600 and that is just one of several instances. read more

This place is a struggle. The people who work here are GREAT people, I love them. Other than that, the lines are consistently 10-15 people at all times of the day (both pre COVID and now). I've never been here for less than 20-30 mins. The people who come in here as customers are consistently very slow, asking a ton of questions they could have gotten the answers to online, making simple tasks super complicated, and arguing over shipping prices that the people working here don't control. Instead of lots of quick, shipping volume like other UPS stores, the activity here is a lot of copies, notary, faxes, passport stuff, etc that take forever. This store is not reliable when getting your packages out for delivery. I have had several packages never arrive coming from this destinations. Make sure you save your receipt. The problem is i paid for it in advance and affixed a label. The package was ready to go so i dropped it off just as you would any drop box. Well i had to ask the employee where out going packages go and she took it from me and put it with the out going pile of packages. To get a receipt i would have to stand and wait inline. It was the holiday season and i was rushed for time. I highly encourage anyone dropping off at this location to get a receipt. I've had several packages never arrive and one of them cost me $600 for an iPhone that never arrived. Don't trust the employees at this location. I have never run into this problem before however, I have had multiple instances with these people . read more

As of 11/20/2021 I went to the store 10 minutes before closing (not intentionally) to return some Amazon items. The door was locked And they seemed irritated the little blonde girl seemed irritated and opened the door reluctantly. She did not say a single word to me the whole time which was pretty rude. She just scanned my QR codes by my phone one by one and I just left. This was a disappointing interaction with a person that just had to do their job. They were speaking Tagalog Filipino to each other which was pretty rude as well. There used to be friendly hard working staff members at this store which all left And were replaced with lazy and unprofessional workers. read more

I've been coming here for a while now and today I asked my mom to drop off a package for me and it's supposed to be free with the QR code but she was charged a package fee and she said she didn't need it and have a box to put it in but they said it was already sealed so it couldn't be undone. Ron was the one that helped and he seems unprofessional because he didn't let her know that she needs to pay for the package and he kept asking his coworkers for help so obviously he wasn't trained enough to do simple Amazon returns. Worst UPS store I have ever been too. They will try to charge you for anything. Had to pay $1.00 for them to pick up a USPS package which does not happen at any other UPS store. In addition, made an Amazon return and had the item in the box. The woman took the item out of the box and then said they couldn't dispose of the box since they aren't recycling. read more

First time in this UPS Store location. I needed to print, sign and return a document in a hurry. It cost me $15 to print and fax 6 pages, absolutely crazy. The staff was friendly and did their best to serve customers with a line out the door, but this location was extremely slow and expensive for the smallest thing. My first experience was not so pleasant. It's a simple thing really, I needed to ship a few packages so I carried them - bulky as they were- to the front door and saw they weren't open until 8:30 so I came back after running another errand- then I went back to the door and tried to open it. At 8:45 or so, and still nothing. Me and one other gentleman were waiting outside for about 10 minutes before I decided waiting was not on my list of things to do that day so I came back AGAIN. Probably the worst UPS store I've been to and I've been to several locations across 4 different states in the last 10 years. Months ago the owner couldn't be bothered to update their hours so that a line of people were cluelessly waiting outside. No one at this location bothers to answer the phone. Apparently I'm not allowed to stand in the blue square and got yelled at the other day. Staff is hit or miss by the way. If I go in before 2 the staff has been wonderful, if I go im after 4 one of them is quite rude. The owners responses to complaints are a complete joke anyway as nothing changes. Absolutely terrible store. I've gone here twice in a year and both times they were unable to print anything. The first time I tried to print something they told me the only person who knew how to work the printers was out and wouldn't be back until the afternoon. Today I went there to print an amazon return label and they said the only person with access to the computer password isn't working at all this week and I'd have to come in when they're working sometime next week. I've never had trouble at any other UPS store. This one is terribly run and doesn't give its employees the training they need. Save yourself the time and just go to a different store. read more

I have been a regular here. Very kind and helpful workers at the counter. I will never return. I made a UPS delivery which did not arrive until multiple days after it was due to arrive. They told me I could get s refund but needed to see the manager in person. I came by multiple times and the manager was not in. Today the owner was out at lunch so I waited 45 minutes to see him. He insisted that I was not due a refund because too much time had passed. When I mentioned that I had been back multiple times and been told to come back he got annoyed. He started quizzing me. When? Did you call the manager directly? Unhelpful. Rude. No concern for the bad service I had received. So. I have no recourse. read more

The store was open when I got there just after 9 AM on a weekday. Just one person was ahead of me; since it's less than 3 weeks till Christmas, I thought there might be more of a crowd even this early, so I was pleased. I chose to come here rather than the post office because in the photo, it looks really accessible. I walk with a cane, & the Columbia City post office is dreadful. There is a choice of stairs or a ramp at the post office, and to get to either you must survive a really frenzied parking lot geared to put its users out of temper, which it does without fail. But at UPS at Othello, there is no parking lot at all. In the photo, it appears that you can just drive up alongside it and voila, you are there. Hop out, no stairs, easy...but it isn't. The store is located in a densely populated (and densely parked) area, and what looks to be the easy parking on-street is actually a no-parking-within-30-feet zone. I had my handicapped hang tag and put on my hazards; there wasn't even a temporary loading zone, and I had my teenage daughter and 4 medium-large boxes to send. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes; the store was clean, and the clerk was courteous and helpful. And since I had parked in the forbidden zone (which would be usable free for handicap users if this was Portland, which it isn't), I had a big fat $47 ticket on my windshield when I got back to the vehicle. If this store can get the city to give it a 20-minute loading zone, I will go back. If not? No way. I understand the idea is probably to serve the many people who live within walking distance of the store, but of course, most people don't leave the house on foot when they have boxes to mail. Without either a parking lot or a designated loading zone, it just isn't worth it. read more

In an age when good customer service is a rarity indeed, my friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the grace, warmth, and ease with which Cherry handled both of our much different tasks, which each involved multiple steps, but also fielded a phone call and pleasantly welcomed incoming customers giving them realistic expectations as when she would be with them.
