I dread going into this store. Now that I found out I can drop off at CVS or Michaels I do that every time even though it is far more mileage to get to those other locations. This is the only UPS store in Superior so I have stopped here a few times due to the lack of other options. I have never had great interactions with the manager. He always seems confrontational. My most recent stop when I went in had the standard subpar interaction with him. But what sealed the deal for me and will make me drive out of my way to Duluth for the UPS store was the way an older gentleman was treated in the store. He was needing help and was told to contact UPS via phone. Both staff members in the store didn't even try to help the man and did not listen to what he was trying to say. I felt so bad for the man. I would just like to "GREATLY Thank the staff" of the UPS Store (#7050) located in Superior, WI for their immediate assistance in locating a package that was "in-transit". Their staff was able to retract the shipment before reaching its final destination and have it returned to their office due to unforeseen circumstances that arose. I will no longer be going to this ups. I've had multiple people tell me they are rude and treat you like garbage.

Due to frequent traveling I have been in and out of the UPS store in Superior WI a number of times this year. I have observed the well-organized, well-groomed, cheerful, and knowledgeable employees. Without exception, they offer accurate and helpful customer service with a smile --even while many times getting little to no manners from those they wait on! I am a tenured customer relations specialist, who can't help analyzing the service I receive. It seems only right to take time to recommend your clean well-stocked store, great customer service people, and all those smiles they keep flashing out even when lines are long. brought an Amazon package return into store and was told that UPS charges $4 out of pocket, and considering the product from amazon was damaged there was no way I was going to be able to keep the item I had to comply. After getting into my car and telling my significant other I was charged to return an Amazon package he informed me that the location themselves probably charged you, not ups. I called the store and asked for clarification and a different women answered the phone and clarified that the store themselves charge if it's over a certain size because it makes them unable to store other packages since they are such a small location. I then asked if I could come back and get the packages because it wasn't explained to me am that way and she informed me there was no way to do that, it's not possible it's already in our system and you had agreed to be charged. She then proceed to try hanging up on me as I was asking a question and once I got her attention by saying ''excuse me?'' She then allows me to speak and I ask that in future events it could be explained as ''we are such a limited sized location and due to the size of the package being over 30 inches our store would need to charge a fee for storage, otherwise another location can take it as well.'' Because the way it was explained didn't sound at all like there was another option and this was just the way of UPS. She then got annoyed and the conversation had ended. I've never had someone become so hostile over me asking for clarification and then become annoyed and defensive because I asked if I could get my packaged back. We tried shipping a package that had Fedex markings on it. We crossed out the markings with permanent marker, and thought it would be fine. The store refused to ship the package because it had Fed Ex markings on it. They offered to sell us a new box of course. I decided to cover all the markings with masking tape. Jason the "Store owner" told us they wouldn't accept the package that way. He told me the package was in poor condition, and offered to sell me a new box. I told him the package was in good condition. The masking tape was covering labels on the box. He then told me he couldn't ship the box because the box was sealed with masking tape. We sealed the box with packing tape and covered the labels with masking tape. After I explained that he said they won't ship packages from competitors. It seems like a silly thing to be harassing customers over. I asked to speak to whoever he reports to. He told me " I report to no one. I am the owner." We called the Duluth UPS store and explained the situation. They said they would happily take the package. It seems like the store is trying to make profits by selling new boxes. I wouldn't recommend them. Especially after the rude attitude and unreasonable attitude the owner had. read more

I would give them a zero if I could. I strive to support local businesses but will never go back to this one. Apparently the staff thinks it is acceptable to stop continuing your transaction and wait on the person who came in after you, asking you to wait while they help the next person. Of course our power was out due to a winter storm and our fax was not working. I called this store and was lucky enough to speak with the most amazing person.
