Before I arrived, Timmy was really friendly and helpful on the phone, and even told me to come in without an appointment on a busy weekend afternoon. This is not a big operation and it seems Timmy does almost all of the work (there was a young helper there), so I appreciated it even more that he was able to accommodate me. Even though he was working on another car at the time I arrived, he took the time to come to the counter and answer a few quick questions for me. The hitch installation was perfect and he even spent a few more minutes with me afterward to clarify a few things I asked about. He threw in a little sarcasm with some of his answers, but that's OK -- I can take it. Oh, and the best part was it took only about 45 minutes. I went for some lunch at a local Westwood restaurant and the hitch was done when I returned. Couldn't have been easier. Cost around $160 total for the hitch installation and trailer wiring. (FYI, I supplied the hitch which I purchased elsewhere.) Thanks Timmy!

One of them was shattered. Thankfully it was the one I hadn't yet filled with photos. The other one would have been disastrous since it had photos of my dad who recently passed away. My dress had arrived late (I ordered from a different place) - 6 weeks before my wedding but Susan was able to fit me in her schedule and get started on alterations right away. My dress was strapless but I felt the need to have my shoulders covered in church and she was able to add sleeves made from tulle that were removable! These straps made my dress feel complete, and I was so happy to have something unique about my dress. My bustle was GORGEOUS she had included I believe 7 bustle buttons - and my very layered Cinderella-like dress stayed up in the bustle the ENTIRE night! (Ever been to a wedding where the bride holds her dress because the bustle fell?) My mother's dress arrived 3 weeks before the wedding (again, from a different shop) and Susan made sure she was able to fit my mom in as well. Turned out that the dress the other shop had ordered was way too small for my mom - and 5 days before the wedding my mom decided to can it. Mom couldn't even sit in the dress!! Luckily - Susan had a dress available in her shop that fit my mother perfectly!! She was able to make some small adjustments that night and 3 days before my wedding my mother FINALLY had a dress! I honestly do not know what we would have done if we hadn't gone to Susan for alterations. She is clearly knowledgeable about gown alterations - and creative! She was able to quickly find a solution to a huge problem for us. I am so grateful for this and I have been back to her shop many times since. I've had 2 other dresses for other weddings altered since and Susan hasn't let me down!
