I dropped my primary election ballot off here the morning of June 2nd, the day it was due. The ballot was filled out properly, signed, sealed & legal. I asked if their regular outgoing mail had been picked up yet that day, and was told it had not. So it should have been picked up & postmarked on 6.2, making it valid for counting. However, I just received a notice from the California Secretary of State: "Your ballot for the June 2, 2026, Primary Election cannot be counted... because we did not receive your ballot on time." So my ballot was either accidentally (or purposefully?) mishandled by the folks at this UPS store location. Either way, this is beyond disappointing & totally unacceptable. I will not entrust them with anything else. read more

Don't plan to use UPS if you need a passport photo and you plan to renew online. They take your photo in store, but only give paper photos. I had to take a picture of the picture to upload on passport site and then felt lucky that I was able to manipulate it on the passport site for it to be accepted. Its not staff's fault UPS couldn't provide digital photo. read more

I use this store ALL THE TIME! They are great. Even when there's a line they are pleasant and efficient. They process a lot of Amazon returns for me, never making me feel bad when I haven't understood or followed the directions with the return policy. Had a passport photo taken. When I tried to get passport renewal sent from the post office, I was told the photo was not done correctly. Took the photo back to this store and the customer service was terrible. The guy at the register started to argue with me about why the postal service always says his photos are not done properly and that he will not be doing passport photos in the future. He then refused to return the $22 and change and offered me some pencils on the rack for my troubles. In the future I will not be going to this store because they don't stand behind their product. read more

I went in to get some copies made, and it was quick and the service was friendly. This place gets a lot of traffic, the few times I've been, it's always been smooth sailing. You get in and out fairly quick compared to other locations. There were two customers who entered without a mask, and the employee kindly asked them with urgency if they had masks, one woman didn't even realize she forgot it in the car, the other was an elderly man who didn't have one, he was just dropping something off, the employee helped him anyway. I'm sure that must be awkward or even uncomfortable to remind people they need to wear masks! Like come on we been doing this for a year now. The employee was busy and kind at the same time. I was here the other day doing a notary with Jadd. During my time here the poor clerk "Andrew" I believe was this sweet young man's name . Was working the front counter and this poor babe had to explain over and over CUSTOMER PACk to people. Each time he explained he took the package taped them or taped a label for them . With a smile asking that the please have the package boxed and label attached the next time they come in. So with that I say PEOPLE READ YOUR instructions. Short and quick review incoming! Like many UPS stores, nothing really sets them apart from the staff to be honest. They all carry the same supplies and while some have larger layouts, it only benefits you from a more staff to assist perspective. This location is quite small, and the two times I have visited it has left me with a "meh" experience. Lines can be brutal, but it's a UPS store, many tend to be that way. The issue was the staff, just was not trained, which is not their fault, but they kept punching away at the computer trying to figure things out. Again, not their fault, but adds to the already long line of upset customers. Either way, it's an easy drop of spot if you live near downtown Windsor. read more

I have never written a yelp review before, but I felt obligated to warn customers about the owner. I went in yesterday with a Amazon return. They were a couple return labels so I wasn't sure which one was to be inside or outside so the box was slightly open. I go in the owner Jadd, immediately starts berating me saying that he's not going to tape my box for me , and he's not making any money off of that and the only way he was going to accept my package if I went home taped it myself bought a roll of tape and taped it... The tape was five dollars. Seeing that I was on my bicycle and I needed to return it that day I swallowed my pride and decided to buy a roll of tape. By that time a line head formed so I decided to go tape the box because I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible . He helps the last customer as I'm about to tape the box and I ask him hey listen man can you just please spare me two pieces of tape? He immediately starts berating me again, this time, swearing and over and over again challenging me to an argument. I told him I didn't wanna argue. I just wanted to drop off my package. He wouldn't stop coming at me verbally insinuating I was trying to cheat him out of money. I told him I would buy the tape, but I wouldn't be coming back again and he told me over and over again that he didn't want my business. I told him that I was a business owner as well, and I would never fathom talking to a customer like that, he just kept going on and on... Finally at one point, kind of realizing that he was yelling at another business owner in the community and realized he was probably losing out on business, and potentially lots of it considering I know a lot of fellow business owners... he decides to tape the box, for a 2 dollar fee, gee thanks sir. It was only then he changed his tone and tried to shake my hand, I certainly didn't want to, but I did because I just didn't want to get yelled at anymore and I just wanted to get out of there. As I'm walking out, he says sorry we got off on the wrong foot... Not realizing that he is the one that drew the line in the sand and crossed it over and over again. But I didn't let it ruin my day. I had a nice bike ride anyway, but if you want to test your beliefs on pacifism, save yourself a headache and penny pinching to a fault that it's actually losing customers... And the potential of blatant rudeness and swearing coming at you for no reason, Feel free...but I wouldn't. And won't. read more

This store needs more customer service. Maybe ticket pull numbers like at a deli. I have been coming here for 10 years but this Monday may have been the last. First the cost for a box is $10 and you can get one at Walmart for $1.58. I was told by a young red haired man at store#6112 employee number 144919. Total was $56.00 $28 to ship $10 box, $10 packing material ( which was 10inches of bubble wrap. Pack service 2 minutes $6.86. All this with a bad attitude. When I was a teen working in my fathers French Dry Cleaning store he always told me the same thing, Teresa the customer is always right even when they are wrong their still right. Proceeded to take his call on his phone, hung up, turned around to lock their security gate and said he couldn't help me. I have made many returns/pick ups at this location and this was THE WORSE one yet. I used them one time to send a valuable parcel and it was lost during shipping. I was refunded 20% of the cost of the parcel by the UPS corporation. The parcel did not give me the option to insure. I went back to this location, hoping they would do something to make up for the difference between what I was compensated and what the parcel cost, and they simply told me to go back to UPS corporate as they are not part of UPS and are a franchisee. They did everything they could to separate themselves from UPS, although they advertise as if they are a part of the company. They couldn't have shown me they cared any less. I wouldn't ever use them again and don't recommend anyone to do so. read more

This store recently changed ownership and the customer service has gone into the toilet. I was just in the store when an employee named Jadd got a non speaking customer to spend $60 to ship a headband somewhere. I just asked the lady if she understood it was $60 and Jadd snapped at me and told me to leave the customer be (essentially mind my own business). When I pointed out there was a language barrier he rudely said the other employee spoke Spanish and then very rudely asked the lady what language she preferred. Surprise, she needed Spanish. He then started talking over my head to other customers telling him he would be with them soon. I then asked if he was the new owner of the store and he told me he was with a customer and I needed to wait to ask my question. He was unbelievably rude. If this is the kind of employee the new owner hires or if it is the new owner, everyone should take their business elsewhere. The man was rude and disrespectful. read more

Watch out for the up-sell, and inexperienced help. I've been coming here off and on for years for simple things and had virtually no problems. Came in today to mail a small box to my daughter at college. The young woman helping me was very sweet, but could not handle a simple label or give me accurate information. I had to resort to asking her to list off every option because we were talking in circles. She stopped at 2-day delievery which wasn't super necessary, but at that point worth the cost to end the pain of the conversation. Then to the label. Her: "Now I need the information for the label"....pause and stare. Me: "Ok, what do you want first?" (because you know, I don't work there and can't see what she's looking at" Her: "Well, all of it." Me: "Ok, but what first?" Her: "Well, it would be better if I could see it." No offer of a pen and paper...she wanted my cell phone. Whatever, I handed it over with the contact open. First attempt: No suite number or West in front of the street name. Second attempt: Suite number BEFORE the name. Me: So the 20-yr old kids are instructed to not put the mail in the box unless the address label is perfect...I literally need it to look exactly like it does in the contact. Third attempt: Suite number above the street address. Me: [insert palm to face emoji here]. I tried to explain that to the owner/manager/whatever who finally stopped socializing with the three other employees...none of whom by the way were helping this obviously new employee. He told me that's the only way the label prints...I call BS because Pak Mail or USPS doesn't have that same issue, ever, and keep in mind I've mailed from this location before. Me: "Fine, but when she doesn't get it, I'll be back for a refund. Him: "Of course if it's not delivered you get a refund but once it gets there it's not our fault if they don't get it to the right person." Well, maybe a correct label would be helpful! So, I say "Fine, I'll just go to the post office if you can't get a label right." Him: "They can't guarantee delivery" rather than trying to fix the mistake. Which is weird since when I was there a month ago to mail two boxes to Italy, HE SAID USPS was "FANTASTIC" for domestic delivery. So. Damn. Weird. USPS must have really gone downhill in a month. So...I went to USPS (an option this store has but refused to offer because it was so much less expensive) and paid TWENTY DOLLARS LESS for wait for it...the same Saturday delivery as I almost got with them. NEVER AGAIN. I understand new employees...but you should actually train and supervise them. read more

NEVER use the Windsor store to ship ANYTHING! I sent a package to my son in the military last October. LAST OCTOBER!!! The UPS store rearranged the items inside the packages which made the shipping costs less than what was needed to send one boxes to my son. And on top of everything there was a letter from my son's grandfather who has since passed away. This can never be replaced! I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 9 MONTHS TO LOCATE THIS PACKAGE. The store found it last December but failed to ship it back to the store. Now my tracking information is no longer good and they cannot find this package. When I have gone into the store here in Windsor, they honestly couldn't care less about the $483.90 I paid to ship this box and are completely indifferent to my concern in finding this package. What the hell??? So save yourself from their crappy service and their lack of concern when a package doesn't make it to it's destination!! Now forever a Fed Ex customer! read more

I went there to send a package to Japan. We told employee Cinthia that the total package value was $254, she made the total package value $254 x 4 equals $1,016. Due to a combination of her lack of experience and lack of attention to detail, my client in Japan had to pay four times what his customs duty should have been. I brought this to their attention and they said since we had signed for it they would take no responsibility for their mistakes. Cynthia who made all the mistakes was training a a new person. I asked the manager to have the owner give me a call and of course he never did. They are the worst! read more

I love this place. The employees here are always super friendly and helpful. They keep addresses in their computer for me that I ship to frequently, they just look me up by phone #. The post office can't top that. Convenience. Regarding all UPS stores.....I once showed up with an antique grandfather clock I inherited from my Dad in Florida to ship to California. They boxed it, and it arrived in great shape. How easy is that. I love not having to box my stuff, fill out forms and stand in line. This store has notary that I've used before.
