Walked in and was helped in just a minute. The clerk asked me to open the email and was able to capture the barcode straight from my phone screen. She worked with me, listened to my concerns, and took the time to correct the problem to my satisfaction. Her customer service was exceptional, she was professional, caring, and really took the time to make things right. She really treats every package like it's her own, ensuring that everything is handled with the utmost care. They also have an affordable packaging service if you need to pack your breakables w care. I had an issue where an amazon return got lost in transit on the way back to the seller. the carrier was no help, as they said the package was "delivered", and there was nothing they could do about it. Hanz went out of her way to contact them to try to get my item back. Ultimately, the item was lost. However, Hanz went above and beyond and personally gave me a refund for the lost item. The people who work here are always super friendly. When I took my daughter here last time, they asked what her favorite color is and offered a pen or something in that color, which made her happy. I see perhaps the corporate office has gotten to your store or you finally read one of many emails. Here, I get a token of apology and bunch of excuse from where I sit. The UNSAFE practice contrary to your UPS Corporate Recommendation and regulation is in fact that SHE was NOT standing behind the plastic shield but leaning WELL OVER the counter talking and who knows that germs and virus she might have been spreading. It wasn't just her when I entered your store but the entire crew including yourself. You still claim and hide behind the internet being down. (For one, you should think and plan and execute redundancy of your ISP provider?). I dropped off my shipment before your internet was down hence you printed the labels and I took a picture of them and not get an official receipt. You did not care to take down any number or copy of the label and hurry to rush me away. Can you tell me update on my shipment? It has been 10 days past the drop off date. You assured me but she and you failed to hear me that I came to your store after talking to Amazon less than 30 minutes prior to entering your store - the nearest UPS in my neighborhood but I am turned away by an employee who bitterly is disgusting to be in the field of service of any kind. You have seen my phone image of the labels - what do you think of it ? Where are my shipments? You didn't apologize or didn't bother to apologize. You and your staff were too arrogant and too self-righteous in my mind. You are UPS and I am a minority who begs at your mercy. Rude! Worst customer service! I showed up Just before closing - the door was locked with customers inside. The guy YELLED at me that the computers were already shut off WHILe he was on a computer with the customers...I explained I just needed to drop off a prepaid package before a flight and he refused. I have been going to this UPS store for a long time and I have seen many different employees change. I have seen two employees which have consistently been there, one is a big man named Shiv who I always go to. Shiv is the best worker I have seen at the UPS store, he is nice, and friendly, and even when people are rude he won't crack under pressure, and I hope to use his Notary Service in the future. I cannot speak for others but the times I have come here to drop off return Amazon packages and other outgoing items, the front desk people have been nice to me. However, I am in agreement with another review about a female that has an attitude. She does the work but doesn't appear to be happy working there. Customer service is about average--they receive in your package and provide a receipt. There's not really anything to it. I have also done pickup on occasion where it was a younger gentlemen and he was always respectful. It was actually more pleasant dealing with him than the other female. It's at a central location and easy to get into and out of. I find it easiest to come in through the Lakeview Ave. sometimes you'll see occasional beat up cars parked in front but you can find some safe parking. I'd thought I'd touch on that in case anyone is worried about safety for later business hours. It is relatively safe and there's plenty of parking at least when I would drop by for either pickup or drop off. read more
