I don't know if more of these places are popping up, or I'm just starting to discover them, but…read moreit's kinda like shopping in a thrift store, except all the junk has been removed. Last summer I was in Portland and found a few stores like this, however, the merchants appeared to be outside of their minds as they were all charging $20 for $5 worth of merchandise. Sometimes it's clear what you are selling isn't rare, isn't collectable and you just bought it at Goodwill or a garage sale in hopes of tripling your money. Most of what I saw here was priced accordingly. There was an item or two that had a vintage look that wasn't vintage which could have been less, but no matter where you go, someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes. This place is entirely out of the way, but I did discover a great taco spot across the street, so when the weather changes, it's possible I'll make a day out of hiking, shopping and tacos. Kudos to this shop owner. It's easy for a place like this to charge lunatic prices and offend shoppers, but the reasonable nature of this store is clearly the key to its high ratings and strong business flow.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and serve as trainers for developmentally challenged residents of Rainier School. The several rooms in the large Martin Hall are clean and organized into a furniture showroom, a library, office supplies, household items, clothing, and displays of beautiful plants arranged in clever containers! During my first visit there today, I was very impressed with the cleanliness, not only of the building, but of the items offered for sale. Donations are welcome and accepted at a location on campus near the thrift store.

Prices are higher than retail. Used to be a fun place to find great deals but I don't even go there…read morenow. I'm not going to pay triple for something that was donated. In addition, I was in a slow moving line of about five cars with a truckload of items to donate and as soon as I was almost to the front, an employee put a closed sign right in front of my truck. What?? I asked if I was still able to donate because I've been waiting and they said no, we are full. Absolutely ridiculous! Also, I used to shop Sunday mornings when the color tag change took place- I specifically went for the $1.99 color tags. I noticed they would "pull" all those items the night beforehand. I would find maybe 3-5 items in the entire store with that color. I've even witnessed employees pulling them on Sunday mornings and taking them to the back. GreedWill is definitely what you've become sadly

Don't even bother trying to donate to this place it's USELESS. These employees have to be the LAZIEST people on the planet. Goodwill is also a FOR PROFIT business there is no reason for me to waste my valuable time to donate my very good items there anymore. I'd rather go dump PERFECTLY amazing donations or put them on FB offer up for free. The gal at the donation place actually pushed my sister while she was carrying a donation item and made her drop a very good monitor. My sister and I are absolutely dumbfounded that they would allow employees to physically push people carrying heavy items. Super dangerous should my sister have fallen and been hurt by this employee.

The sales associates are pleasant, helpful, and although the vibe is not typically my style, I have found some cute pieces here on occasion. Unfortunately today we came in 10 minutes before closing time to browse as I had a bridal shower coming up this weekend. The sales associate with gray hair proceeds to tell me "you got five minutes" in this kind of annoyed flat tone. I had some things in my hand to try on, but as I hurried into the dressing room, all desire to actually purchase anything flew right out the window. I understand that at the end of the day you wanna go home after work, but the store was not closed yet, and the experience left a sour taste in my mouth.

We went on small business Saturday and everything was 40% off. We have a large family so we love finding deals on lightly used clothes.
