If you just love to wander around checking out memorabilia from your past or are looking for an item in your collection, this could be a good spot to visit. The store offers space on consignment to others. Each space is it's own little 'shop' and each item tagged with the price and vendor number. I saw some very nice older quilts and other household linens like pillow cases, doilies and what not. There are plenty of glasses, license plates, toys, records, metal goods, kitchen wares, jewelry. A bit of everything. The staff were pleasant. The store can be a bit overwhelming. You really have to 'look' carefully to see it all. You could spend a few minutes or a couple of hours. Out front they had a grocery cart holding the door open filled with 'free' treats. On this date, lemon pies that were approaching their expiration date. It's just a nice little offering to the community. Definitely worth a stop in. I found a few things I would purchase if we lived in the area. Prices were good with a few exceptions. read more

Quaint setting in a lovely historical building. Lots of items well priced. Loved the ladies who own it. Very inviting & welcoming.

Felt like a mini road trip across the county. I have driven through Black Diamond a few times over the years, but this was my first stop. Based on the photos, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was interesting. It reminded me of a much smaller version of the Thorpe Mall in Ellensburg. I got the impression that a fair amount of what was there was consignment, but I also felt like I could have found a large portion of what I saw at Goodwill for a fraction of the price. If you got the money, or truly represent the Hobo Chic lifestyle, then come on down to the Diamond, but at the end of the day, I saw plenty that looked cool, but was 300% more expensive than similar items I see at thrift stores. read more

We came to visit family in Maple Valley and stumbled on this shop while getting baked goods at a store a few doors down. Instantly I fell In love with the shelves upon shelves of amazing things. I could spend hours browsing as everything you could imagine is here. We bought a nice military jacket and the ladies at the front were so nice and helpful on how to dress it up and make it our own (we wanted to make sure we weren't wearing it out with patches or anything as my boyfriend has never served in the military). We will come into this store for the hospitality and wide variety of goods anytime we come back and visit our family. Come visit here, you won't regret it. read more

This is a wonderful and eclectic antique store! It's bigger than it looks from the outside and lots of treasure to be found! Our first visit here was this past May while our friends from MT visited. Love, love, love this place! I wasn't into antiques, but they've got me hooked now.
