I've reached out to the contact regarding an update because they tried to pass the buck on to Con Ed & when I called Con Wd they advised that they simply need to hire an electrician to fix the elevator, there's yet to be an update nor is the elevator operating. This is such a miserable experience. Being home bound when you still have to leave your home is exhausting. I wouldn't recommend them or any of their properties to anyone. The lack of response is not only disrespectful but unprofessional in the least. I now have to manage a move but with no assistance in sight. If you want your money's worth, this management company is not the one for you.

Because we just moved in, I wanted to withhold ratings for now and update this review at the one-year mark. However, since Yelp will not allow a post to publish without a rating, I am assigning a 3/5 star rating purely as an interim score for the algorithm. The apartment itself has great bones; it was handed over freshly painted and exceptionally clean upon move-in. The trimmings and finishes in this railroad-style unit are of higher quality than we are used to, every room features ceiling lights, and both the kitchen and bathroom have windows. Furthermore, Mr. Jake L. has been excellent, precise, and highly responsive to all of our communications. However, there are some downsides? We discovered a roach infestation immediately upon moving in. While Jake quickly connected us with pest control, the exterminator warned us that eradicating them will be a long, years-long process. We are also experiencing secondhand cigarette smoke from other units/street? leaking into our apartment. With a young child in our home, this is a major health concern, and we currently have no clue how to address this issue or get it resolved besides running an air purifier at max speed. Additionally, the condition of the stairs leading up to this fourth-floor walk-up does not inspire much confidence. While we knew during the lease signing that there would be no elevator, laundry, or live-in super, and we have successfully made the required lifestyle adjustments, the lack of an on-site presence remains anxiety-inducing. This is especially true because we have experienced major leaks, flooding, and gas leaks in past apartments, but due to having on-site supers', we were always able to get help expeditiously. Rialto management provided a 24/7 emergency number, but not having a physical point of contact on the property keeps us on edge. While building management is communicative, we ultimately have to see how the pest issues, the smoke infiltration, and the lack of an on-site super play out over the course of our tenancy.
