I'm pretty terrible at reading trail maps, but I believe we took the Bluebird trail and followed the signs to Grapevine Lake. The trail leads you right down to the water, where there is a nice little shore to throw rocks and splash around in. Someone even hung a tree swing a few hundred feet up from the lake. So fun! I can't speak for all the trails, but this particular trail was not entirely stroller friendly. I have a pretty nice jogger and a strong man to push it, so we did ok on the trail to Grapevine Lake, but the trail is very narrow in parts and most strollers will be too wide. You need one that is pretty much built for off-roading. The nature center might have a bathroom inside, but all I saw was a porta potty behind a privacy wall. Now is the time to get out and enjoy some outdoor exercise. The weather is crisp and nature is calling. Make your way to Bob Jones Nature Center and take advantage of the beautiful trails and gorgeous lake views.

I barely got to see the cats there were so many worker/volunteers crowding the cats, it's as if they don't even want them to be seen. Like are u trying to get them adopted or not?? It was just a very awkward situation. I personally went thinking I'll atleast get to go nearby to see if i like the cat's personality but no chance. Reached out to them in desperation as I was living in my car and they reached out next morning asap eager to provide any assistance they could. I had been calling 20-30 homeless shelters and organizations a day trying to seek immediate shelter, and this ranch is the only place that stepped up to take me in . The owners are generous beyond words, just unconditional love and support every step of the way. Their cause is noble, their hearts are boundless, and they truly live by example. Could gush over them for days for all the help they've given me. Amazing housing accommodations- literally fully stocked cottage with the most tasteful decor and well thought out necessities already provided. If something wasn't there, they were eager to provide it asap. The farm is just adorable; all the animals are well taken care of and are such a pleasure to visit. It's quiet, comfortable, peaceful, and you can tell how much care was poured into putting these places together. Just all the little touches they've added. There's a full-sized oven/stove, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, washer and dryer provided, a place to shower, storage embedded for me to squirrel away belongings as needed, too lol. Roku TV was installed in my current unit today. Free and good Wi-Fi. Keurig for coffee. Even a water purifier! O_O Seriously what homeless shelter does that?? None. None I tell you. I've been there, lived in a shelter for 6 months, and this ranch blows every other place out of the water. She scanned my item, turned the screen around to me, and walked away without a word. I had to finish the transaction myself. I understand that most of the workers here are volunteers, but basic customer service skills go far. Pricing is done with a color dot system and the pricing is fair. It is pretty clean for a thrift store. Unfortunately, the poor service left me with a bad taste in my mouth, so I won't return to shop or donate.

While the Club management sought our membership, they quickly responded with plenty of answers. As soon as we joined, we found there were no open groups that played pickleball. The full-time court people had no recommendations for finding people to play. The menu of the club was pretty limited. We went to a New Year's brunch that was not discounted with food quality similar to Golden Corral, and for members wasn't very good. The gym is small, but the locker room is relatively nice. Unfortunately, I found out I have a serious medical condition that would not allow me to do sports for at least six months. There was no way to pause the membership, so I asked to quit. Two months went by, and I still have no confirmation of termination and still charging me. They did not apply the amount they said I could credit to the account membership, and I was just charged again against my debit card two months after sending them a formal notice of termination. I strongly encourage anyone seeking integrity and good communication to avoid this course. In my opinion, out of the three country clubs I have joined in 35 years, this was the worst.
