Upon checking in and paying the $72 green fare, I had wonders about if the course lived up to the price. It kind of does but barely. The course is maintained pretty well although there's a few holes with a bit of wear and tear in the tee boxes and the green as a result of either poor shoes or mishandled clubs. Fairways are in excellent shape with the grass freshly cut. Some of the holes are a blast to play such as the 8th hole and hole 14 from what I can remember. Also the cart girl came by regularly to serve us beverages and keep us hydrated. Also, credit to the staff here for their customer service. One of the members took me in their cart to the end of the first hole where my teeing party was. This was due to me arriving about 15 minutes after the teetime due to getting stuck in traffic. While embarrassed, I appreciate their attitudes and getting me to my party quickly so I could play. While 72$ is steep for a Saturday, I would play here again next time I'm in the DFW area.

The course is beautiful and well maintained, especially the back nine. My only gripe was that they had two par fives back to back on the back line. Other than that, great course!

We arrived to be told that it'd be another hour before carts become available as the course only has 10 carts but 38 people booked. They offered a walking cart in lieu of driving carts for a lesser rate. On top of this, they were extremely backed up. We teed off 20 minutes later than scheduled. The course was full of mostly straight shots but overall had a super odd layout. Nearly impossible to understand on some holes which flag is the target for that hole. Course was in poor condition overall. Would not return or recommend.

The greens are hard as concrete, bumpy, and have little real grass as of 5/10/2021. The fairways are a combination of weeds, bare ground, and patches of thin grass. The tee boxes have bare spots and patchy grass. The cart paths, when they can be found, are full of ruts. The guy in the pro shop tried to explain that the cold snap this winter and the lack of hot weather to "kill the weeds" caused the problem. Yet the real problem is Arlingto's conscious neglect and abuse of this facility. This place should be closed for a year and the greens should be lowered, rebuilt, made larger and more level, and re-sodded, The tee boxes should be re-sodded, and the fairways reseeded. In the meantime someone should get a shovel and some dirt and fill in the obvious ruts on the cart paths. Some people said that this is a good course for beginner. I disagree. It's difficult to learn and enjoy the game when hitting the ball of bare ground to rock hard bumpy greens with little or no grass. I've played golf on public courses in the Denver for almost 15 years and have yet to see a course in as poor condition as this at this time of year.
