I've also tried the mac & cheese bites, Gilroy garlic fries, hand-breaded pickle chips, and the 6-piece boneless wings that were part of the happy hour special. The Asian chili crisp flavor was really good, and my friend's lemon pepper wings were also tasty. For drinks, I tried the Purple Haze and really enjoyed it. They also have a solid selection of beers and cocktails, so there's plenty to choose from during happy hour. The service has always been friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes it a nice place to relax, catch up with friends, and hang out for a while.

The food is consistently excellent, and a few dishes have become absolute staples for me: the wings, the fajitas, and what I'm convinced are the best salmon tacos in the entire area. The staff is even better. They're always warm and welcoming, and on multiple occasions they've gone out of their way to entertain my kid while I actually get a chance to enjoy my meal. Little things like that keep us coming back. They also have an incredible lineup of 52 rotating beers, so there's always something new to try. The recent remodel looks fantastic--fresh, modern, and inviting. While it's not quite a sports bar, there are plenty of TVs with games on, making it a perfect place to unwind and relax. J Bar is well hidden down near the end of dead-end industrial type road on the edge of Justin. First thing to notice when you walk in is that this place is dark. When you go outside, that sunlight really hits you! When we got to the bar we were met by a smiling Hailey who asked what we were drinking. I took the usual Shiner of course and I surveyed the room. There were a couple of pool tables that looked like they had gone the distance plus a few extra laps. There was a small stage so it looks like they may have entertainment from time to time.
