I showed Iris, pictures of my son's previous haircuts and explained that we wanted the same style, just slightly longer on top. We specifically mentioned keeping it at eyebrow length if not LONGER than that, but even while wet, it was cut above his eyebrows. We provided polite feedback during the haircut, but she did not receive it well and responded with noticeable attitude. She was not polite or receptive. My son was very upset and almost in tears when he got in the car. At 11 years old, appearance is important, and situations like this can be especially difficult for kids socially. I went back in to calmly ask her name (Iris) and explained how upset he is (she laughed) and a little advise that it's always better to cut less initially, since more can always be taken off, but hair cannot be added back. When I asked Andrea for Cheston, the owner of the flower mound locations contact information, they refused to give me that or any management contact information. I'm under the impression as well that they found this all humorous safeguarding the information in thoughts nothing would become of the situation. 25 bucks I get it but, this was the worst experience and didn't get my hair cut. Mind you this was all on Friday and my 1 day off. Cheston needs to fire a majority of his staffing at both of his locations and revamp a new hiring manager if he wants any chance at all with keeping these two locations running.
