This man right here is the REAL DEAL. He is a master of his craft, and treats you with the utmost compassion, respect, and professionalism I have ever experienced before. He is worth every single penny, and actually takes the time to blend your cut, uses the razor blade, hot towel and even gives you a massage. Most importantly, he never forces awkward conversations, or engages in prying. If there is a moment of silence, he isn't trying to force a conversation or anything. He is a genuine soul who loves his craft, and cares about each person who sits in his chair. Beware though, he is almost always booked. Which sucks for me, i have very busy schedule and somehow my free time does not align with his schedule; but its okay I am committed to start booking him well in advance. I have been coming to Angel "Bowtie" for eight years, before The Vault opened. His service and quality has always been Incredible. Angel is the real-deal. The atmosphere is a great place where men can stop in to hangout, get their haircut, and enjoy themselves. He was unsure, and literally said after mid cut " I can't get your hair to do that" Third, I asked you if he was a new chair.....the implication is "are his skills legit." Great find in growing Ontario. I love supporting local businesses so walked in one day. Found out they do appointment only. This was different for me but what I love is that when you walk in for your appointment you're served immediately because they don't take walk ins. That was a year ago and now Vault has become part of my monthly routine. They are always booked because they do great work. Not only that, Angel and Jeremy build relationships with their customers and really provide top notch service. They told me that it was by appointment only but they had an opening that they could slide me in but this one time only. I recently moved to Ontario and did some Yelp'n to find a new barber. After a bit of looking around I decided to come visit The Vault! This is a quaint barbershop in Ontario that immediately makes you feel at home. If there is anyway to describe The Vault, it would be like the barber shop you imagined your grandfather going to, but modernized as well by the barbers that are stationed there. I called and was fortunate enough to have a same-day appointment available. I'd recommend to plan in advance because they get steady business and it just works out better for both parties. Dan cut my hair, it also so happened to be his birthday - Happy Birthday, Dan! Dan made me feel comfortable, delivered a great experience and cut, plus we had a great conversation with everyone in the shop - topic was the MLB, couldn't be more up my alley! That's what kind of sold it for me on top of the great haircut. When you're in this shop, it's like talking to a bunch of friends you've already known for awhile. They had Christmas vibes playing in the background too which just brought me home even more since some of the tracks were from classic Christmas comedies. HONESTLY, I don't know why it took me as long as it did to book my appointment. I'm very picky when it comes to my hair and who cuts it and sadly I've always had trouble finding the right barber. I have been going to the same barber for the last two years since I moved out here to California and although he kept me looking fresh these past years I don't think I could go back after getting this cut buy angel. Everything from start to finish was on point. I notice little things angel did that make me appreciate my hair cut so much more than how it would be cut before. The detail is there. I got my cut Friday afternoon and knew I wanted to write a review but I also wanted to wait a few days just to see what else I could add to my review and let me say I've gotten a few more compliments about my cut than normal.
