This is the most legit barber shop I have ever gone to. Most barber shops have one barber that is diamond in the rough and the rest are average barbers I wouldn't let touch my hair. This shop only has legit, skilled barbers that know how to fade hair, do beards, and designs. This shop is on appointment only - no walk in's - plus you have to make your appt about 2-3 weeks in advance because these guys are that good. The Shop is filled with a bunch of trophies they have won at barber expos. Above all, this place is extremely professional. Most shops have unprofessional barbers playing unprofessional music and having unprofessional barber talk that families and kids shouldn't hear at all. Came here from a referral from a friend. They booked me with Anthony aka Fade Master. All I wanted was a mid fade from him. I showed him two of my current hair cuts which were crops with a mid fade...well came outta that barbershop with a messed up hair cut. He cut plenty of my fringe off which made my crop extremely ugly. He didn't cut to the shape of my head either. When I booked my appointment I was under the impression that a gentleman's haircut is $30, Anthony charged me $40 and literally destroyed my crop. In my opinion, he never knew how to actually cut or style a crop. The fade was great but he messed up the overall crop because he cut plenty of my fringe off, he didn't texture correctly or cut to the shape of my head. He didn't even style my hair after he cut it and charged me $10 more. SMH read more

Don't go to this barbershop unless you want a hack job, you'll end up looking like a cat attacked the back of your head. Some people shouldn't be allowed a straight razor...don't be fooled by their "awards", I was & ended up bleeding. Maybe you'll get lucky enough to get an appt with one of the award winners, after waiting forever for an appointment but if not you'll probably end up with razor burn as well as cuts & at the price of not even being able to sport your new do, it just doesn't seem worth it. Great place for kids haircut. Yes they cutt kids hair & do a great job. My kids have been here a few times but this last time I took them to a shop by my house and got messed up haircuts. Next day took them to see Edward (the owner) and rafa. They did great job on my boys. Also had a hair design done by tony back In October. At times there may be a little of a wait... I usually call to make appointment. All the barbers there are very skilled and talented. Friendly staff providing quality work. The prices went up a Lil this year but no more "appointment" fee. Barbers are great here. I got a cut from most of the barbers and never had a bad experience. Edward is probably the most on point. He takes his time and is a perfectionist when lining u up. They can also make crazy designs on your head too. I've seen some sick designs done by these guys. They always play either hip hop or traditional Mexican music but is always a good upbeat vibe in here. I took one star off because they aren't good with keeping their appointment times. More often than not, I'll still have to wait for one or two people to go before me when I make appointments. I heard they were extending their hours to stay open later during the weekdays to accommodate all the people that come in. I suggest making an appt. It's just 3 dollars more to make one. It's worth the convenience. I recommend this spot to everyone. read more

Probably the best fade I have ever gotten. Their haircuts are above par. I normally go for the dapper look but twice a month, you find me here cleaning up the sides. Tony, Jaime, and Edward are exemplary in their craft. If you're looking for a cheap hair cut, this place is not for you. Ultimately, you get what you pay for and your hair cut will reflect it. If the times on yelp are incorrect please adjust of or put up a sign outside your hours of business so that we won't waste our time. Came in at 11:00 am and as expected there was a reservation hold. I was told there was a spot open for 3:30pm. I booked it and rolled by at 3:20pm and the person I was to get a cut from was taking someone else... its now 3:54 and just was seated. I'm a regular customer who probably comes in twice a month and have been coming here for years. I always like quality work of the barbers here,its like they say.. you get what you pay for. The trophies collections they have speak for themselves. The prices are reasonable. I really recommend Edward or Tony but the other staff are great also. I recommend setting up an appointment before you go because it gets crowded and the appointments get booked quickly. I hope you guys stop by at least once and try it out because I will bet you'll keep coming back. read more

This place is awesome! I found it through a picture on Instagram and luckily I live near by. Took my 4 year old here who has always cried at haircuts and had a horrible experience or just got a bad cut. I figured we are going to try the "big boy" barber shop. My son was totally into it from the first minute we got there. Although I didn't mind the Wu-Tang Clan playing loudly I was afraid he was going to be scared. Not the case, He started dancing around and was excited to see all the trophies in the shop. Tony cut his hair and I told him he had to stay still because Tony was going to make art out of his hair. My son's hair was easily 5 inches or so longer. I wanted a fade with a comb over hard line and Tony killed it! My son got 100's of compliments on his hair in just a few hours. Now I'm taking my older son back today who's a sophmore in HS because even he is jealous of the awesome hair cut his brother got. Prices are reasonable and the staff are really nice. I'm so glad we live close but even if we didn't I'd still drive to get to this place. WORTH IT! read more

My son and I have been looking for a place to cut his hair for about a year.We went to about all the places in and around Pomona (The Rock, Machos, Guadalajara) I really do believe this is the best shop you "will" get a great cut, tight fade, neat lines. Wish I still lived in LA! I've had cuts here by Joey and Edward, and they've both been top notch or, as the kids say, ON FLEEK. The guys here take their time and are perfectionists with their blade, which is great for us. This ain't no Supercuts... Recommend calling in advance, otherwise you might be waiting upwards of an hour for a chair. They do have good TV on though, if waiting is your thing...
