The Veli menu is full of delicious plant based options that anyone (even non-vegans) will love!

SO glad we found this spot - hands down my favorite vegan spot that we've tried on the island (and we've tried a lot). The Veli is the CUTEST little turquoise restaurant in Pahoa right off of the main street along the other stores. It's beautifully painted with gorgeous murals and a seating area inside. The menu has a variety of wraps, salads, bowls and pizzas. It was so hard to decide what to order!!! We went with the Jackfruit Nachos (SOOO good!), the BLT Wrap (delicious) and Caesar Salad, for takeout. The staff was so nice and had our order ready to go for us. So sad that we can't make it back here again this trip, but luckily we have leftovers :) It's a must-stop for vegans and non-vegans alike!

    Nachos, pizza, burritos, tacos.... Yum!

Amazing Vegan food!!!!! Our family enjoyed all the healthy and flavorful options. I loved the bbq jackfruit. Kevin was awesome! Super friendly and kind and the food turned out great. There wasn't anything we ordered that we didn't like. We'll be back.

    Beautiful mural, cool vibe

Delicious Chicken Fajita tacos! Loved the clean, green & beautiful vibe of this quaint deli. Lots of divine vegan options too! The people who work here are so kind and gracious. They understand celiac disease and took great care to prepare my tacos in a safe, gluten free manner. So happy to have found this gem here & highly recommend it!

The papaya salad was so fresh and at ($9) for a whole quart so affordable and easy to share with friends. The papaya stand was my favorite one as she makes the salad fresh in front of you. The purple tapioca potato pudding was so dense and interesting, really rich and lovely to try. I was also blown away by the macadamia nut croissant ($6), the croissant itself was fine, flaky and well baked, but the macadamia nut butter frangipane filling for the croissant stole the show. It was so decadent and sweet I savored every bite of the croissant! The marinated goat cheeses from the goat cheese stand were the most delicious goat cheese I've had in my life. Super creamy, luscious, silky and with interesting flavors. I grabbed two spicy goat cheeses I was so obsessed. There is so much to see eat and try! This is a newer Farmer's market and popular with locals compared to the Downtown Hilo Farmer's Market located at oceanfront. Remember to bring $2 cash for parking and come early because by noon, the lot seemed to be filling up fast and many cars were lining up on the freeway to enter.
