Very rude staff, dirty place. They use full trash cans to block access to parts of the bar they are closing. Sticky floors and absolutely no room to get around. When i was there it had people so drunk they could barely stand, i saw a guy spit up like a baby on the floor and staff did nothing. They have multiple unlocked doors, but dont be fooled, you will be yelled at if you use the wrong one. The cherry on top of this poop sandwich was that they shut off the music off and stopped serving drinks at 1am on a Saturday despite the online hours saying they close at 2am. A great place if you like being talked down to by staff, dancing on a sticky dance floor, and squeezing past sloppy drunk people who should not still be drinking. But if thats not your speed, save yourself some time and money by avoiding this place entirely. read more

Haven't set foot in this place in 16 years because I had moved. Everyone raves about the pizza so we tried it. The pizza was delicious. There was an odd smell emanating from the pizza. Not sure if it was some type of cheese, Parmesan perhaps or possibly the onions. Either way it was very good. I'm a fried pickle junkie and they were delicious and the order was enough for 4 people. The mozz sticks were run-of-the-mill, nothing special but they were good. We tried the thin crust on a recommendation from a friend and it was the only thing I didn't care for. Next time we will get the regular crust. All the food I watched come out of the kitchen looked delicious, can't wait to try more of it. read more

We stopped by here for lunch on a weekday and it was pretty dead. The front of the building is all redone but the inside looks like it's been there for a while. It was decent enough and the bartender was friendly. The food was all around $8-10 and the portions were huge. One of the biggest salads I've seen before. See pic. Also we ordered a BbKing burger that had tons of crispy onion petals on it. The food all tasted great and they definitely had a cool and different selection of funky burgers so I'll have to come back and try some different ones. My only complaint is that it's 21 and older only since it's a bar so we have to leave our kid at home. read more

I can't tell you how much my husband & I love this place! It was recommended to us by our tax lady this past Feb. The Rockstar platter is fab! The pizza even fabber! Is that a word? We were informed that they were at capacity. We watched 27 people walk out (an exact number) but 6 people couldn't walk in. This establishment does not care about the patrons that allow for the business to run. It's unfortunate that an establishment uses a safety measure to deter business, when in reality they do not want to accept respectful and paying patrons. The "security" spoke to us disrespectfully and allowed underage individuals inside the facility. This establishment is not safe for the community as they let underage people inside and use legitimate safety concerns as a reason to deter business when the safety concerns are not actually present. They discriminate on the basis of race and sexuality. read more

My wife and I were looking for a delicious place to eat for our anniversary dinner, saw the reviews and were more than happy to give our business to a local pub... Beautiful place with guitars hanging everywhere. The waitress however, was immediately rude... I'm a friendly guy and do not like confrontation whatsoever. Not a doubt it my mind she was drunk. This was a Monday night and was not buisy... No excuse for her incredibly abrasive demeanor. This woman needs to looks in the mirror and understand that if life is tough for her, its no excuse to get intoxicated and treat people badly. Decided to try the Venue for more than just for a beer and band. Went there with seven people at 7:38 PM Tuesday July 5 (The reason I know the time is because of the big clock on the back wall the band uses because we were setting on the main dance floor) Did not get food until 9:04 PM Three other couples/parties came in after us and received their food and we're openly comped because it took so long all before we received our food. (The reason I say they were openly comped was because you could hear the very loud conversation between the server and the other patrons) halfway across the bar "don't worry about the bill we got it" The waitress attitude was piss poor and we had to constantly ask for drinks. when the food finally arrived (I had the AC/DC burger and I use a term burger loosely) it was two independent pieces of meat (supposed to be one patty) that were weirdly shaped and in a fine grind of meat so heavily salted and peppered it almost seems like tofu burger. absolutely terrible on taste, texture and super super dry. my fiancé had the prime rib sandwich which was obviously served on stale bread with freezer burnt meat. We just paid the bill and left wasn't worth arguing over especially from the attitude of the waitress. I will never ever ever ever ever go back there again what a waste of time and experience. I understand in today's market that finding good help is tough and finding enough people is tough, so I'm not even concerned about the wait we had. The fact that it was obvious that the people that came in behind us were friends of the staff and they got their food first and free and ours was obviously trouble to them and the attitude really rubbed me the wrong way. Not to mention how awful everything tasted! Would not be a place I recommend unless you know the waitress and the cook/bartender/server, if not you're in for a waste of time and money. To the blonde overweight waitress and the Jesus looking dude with the scraggley beard wearing the white headband I want to say congratulations! You two single-handedly made it one of the worst dining experiences of my life. read more

Incredible food - and the portions are LARGE - so take some of it home for a second meal. We usually go for lunch and the bartender / server who has been there for over 27 years is personable and efficient. This place is really nice now since they remodeled and banned smoking - a real asset to Angola now as they also performed a remodel on the exterior facade as well...yeah, it doesn't have the personality of the older "Skip's" but it looks and smells wonderful and is much, much cleaner. I highly recommend any of the food there. read more

We have lived here for more than 5 years now and never thought to try the Venue's food. Just thought it was some kind of biker bar or something. Boy we were wrong. They have some of the best tasting burgers we have had a very, very long time. They were so juicy yet cooked completely through. I chose the seasoned fries for a side while my wife had the tater tots. Again, both were amazing. And even though the bartender/waitress/table cleaner was running around crazy filling orders she stayed in a good mood the entire time. We will be returning in the future. read more

I love this bar but some of the servers are so incredibly rude. Jasmine and Dustin have been nothing but incredibly rude to me and my friends. Whether it's ordering food or drinks I have always been disappointed with their service. I am always incredibly nice and friendly to staff but they have been nothing but rude. Horrible customer service. Bartender is clearly intoxicated and extremely rude. Don't recommend if you actually want to enjoy your night, and not get attitude. Tonight we had the worst experience we have EVER had in ANY public venue. The locals are NIT friendly. We felt threatened for much of the evening. We simply went there to dance and have fun. But we apparently did not fit in. The evening escalated into an ugly confrontation. There are locals who do not accept others that do not match their racial or economic criteria. If yo live on the lake, are white and seem to be too rich, be ware, you are not welcome. We had our second ugly confrontation and we no longer feel safe there. Tonight is the last time we will go. Too bad. Be ware of the locals. If you are from the "outside", you are not welcome. Stay away. read more
