2 weeks ago we had a vending affair there.There were about 8 vendors the place is small and once it's decorated it comes alive. The problem was when we got there to set up we were stuck outside because the worker who was supposed to let us in to set up one hour before the show didn't come for almost 2 hours. Bad business. No one wants to be standing outside a venue for a show outside the doors when the doors were supposed to be open and ready for us to enter. read more

I came here on a Tuesday for an afterwork event. The place was really cool it was a nice vibe with a good group of people. The venue was featuring a new vodka called 'Rocket Blast Armstrong Extreme Vodka'. I'm really not a vodka drinker but this vodka was good. It had a nice smooth taste. They also served some delicious food, but I forgot to get the name of the Chef. The Host for this event was Will and KP. They did an outstanding job putting this afterwork event together. The DJ was awesome he mixed it up and played all of the hot hits from back in the day to current. This venue can be rented out for special occasions. My sister and I did a pop up shop there twice and it was a wonderful experience. The owner is sweet and location is great. The pricing is not so bad either. The only thing is that the place is a little narrow but I would definitely recommend this place for parties, pop up shops,, and etc. read more

The Venue is an amazing spot to host your next event. I had my baby shower here today and it was awesome. The space is beautiful and cozy, with its red barn door, and it's open floor concept with exposed brick. This place is perfect for 80-100 people standing. Do yourself a favor and include patio space in your rental, my guest loved having the option to be outside getting a tan and walking into a refreshed space. Madonna is a fantastic host and will help you along with the entire process. I can't wait to throw another party here! read more

Had my granddaughters birthday here. Very spacious,clean. There are two bathrooms in the back. The manager was on site and he was very helpful with moving the furniture and he played music.We had a great time for the 5 hours we were there. We cleaned up in a timely manner and got our deposit back as promised.The only slight issue I had was with the air conditioning system could have been a little cooler. the manger stated he was getting a new air conditioning system put in soon. Quaint convenient location. Reasonable rental fees. A bit narrow but it works! I think the rental fee goes up past 9 or 10 PM. Back yard area but steps leading down are very narrow. No kitchen area. read more

I held a birthday party recently at this location (they opened a larger location recently on 122nd) and it exceeded my expectations and needs. The manager was extremely responsive, hands on, and was able to accommodate all my needs. They were even able to provide and recommend additional services which was such a major plus! If you want an amazing, clean event space with great staff and customer service you should definitely book your next event at The Venue. read more

If there was 6 stars i would've left that. This place was absolutely amazing. The hostess was very professional, and extremely helpful. The Venue had great accommodations that came with the spot that allowed my family and I to alleviate time and money. I would forever be thankful for this place and business. This space was unbelievably beautiful. I love the ambiance and all the amenities included with the package. The owners were more then helpful and went above an beyond with my needs for my event. They always responded swiftly to any matter. Payment was easy and flexible. All of my guest were in awe of the space inquiring about the space for there events. It is centrally located in Harlem very safe and clean and convenient to get to weather you are driving or using public transportation. Perfect event space for a pop up. I recently held a prom dress giveaway event for high school kids. It was just the right amount of space for my vision. The space was clean, and ready for my event staff to set up when we got there. The Venue is easily accessible via public transportation and is in a great location.The owners, William and Madonna are easy to communicate with and are on hand to make sure you are satisfied with the space. They provide the table linens, lighting, tables, chairs, and stainless steel chafers for your hot food. The DJ booth is set up and ready for your DJ to plug in and play. The bathrooms are clean and there is even an outdoor space available for use. Overall we had a great experience. I will definitely recommend The Venue for a small to moderate sized event. read more

The place is beautiful I can't deny that there are a few problems I did have!! First thing is the head owner "will"always flirts with to many of the women and so does the security guards it's very uncomfortable!! I was told to speak to the other owner kp who seemed to be the most respectful and most understanding. This man took off his clean clothing to accommodate us and he didn't have to, he's truly the reason I won't say to much!!! When I arrived for my event it was said that they just renovated and they had to clean and mop which pushed into my time will was rude and didn't seem to care about what was happening.!! That was very unprofessional I was trying not to leave a review but it bothers me that I even had to go through this for a second time!! Then recently my sister booked an event with you guys manager, who told me something completely different from what "will" told me. Had my son's first birthday party here. Perfect space for the event. I love that they're not breaking people's pocket to utilize the space. Colonizers done came in and gotten ridiculous with the rental price for spaces in Harlem .The owners were easy to do business with. A Very professional and seamless process. Only miscommunication was the one hour for set up/clean up. Be mindful You get 30 mins to set up and 30 mins to clean up. Or you can decide to use the hour at the beginning of the event to set up but you're still responsible for cleaning up by the end of your event time. So plan accordingly. This was easily resolved and straightened out though. I've already referred people who inquired about the event space who attended my party and will def do business again for any other parties I do. read more

Went to a baby shower here that was scheduled between 12p and 6p. Guests started to arrive at 12 and the event planners had to clean up while more guests were arriving. I couldn't understand why the owner didn't have the establishment cleaned before having an event. I overheard people saying how they had to clean the bathroom, the toilet was clogged and the windows were filthy. Also, if you want to have a baby shower or bridal shower or bday party this is not the place. The owner was rude, disrespectful and unwilling to accommodate the renters by telling them they had to get the phuck on out of here and wanted to charge an extra $300 for 30 minutes. Who does that? I'll tell you, a greedy bastard who knows nothing about handling a business. Reviews are to express good and bad experiences. When good, you know you're doing a gr8 job and you have to keep it up. When not so good, you know you have to make adjustments so that things will get better. I hope the manager gets it now. read more
