At a quick look most of not all of the negative reviews have to with shows and not the venue. The Sandler like all venues have near nothing to do with a performance or performers. I wish people would keep that in mind. Now the venue: It was clean and modern and seemed well cared for. This includes the restrooms. Which if you go to shows this is saying something. As for the seats and auditorium: They were comfortable and wider than many other venues. The sound for my performance was real good. Staff: Very very friendly. Most seemed older and seem to handle moving the 1000+ folks in and out very well. Concessions: got pretty busy but it did move along. Maybe 1 or 2 more persons behind the counter could have helped. As for food and drink: Typical snack bar fair and wasn't too bad priced. Not nearly as high as other places. Parking: Although not necessarily the Sandler's alone. Wasn't too bad. But we got to the center early and I'm glad we did. I think a visitor could be pressed with parking if a Friday or Saturday night when the local restaurants and bars were more full. My show was on a Tuesday. So overall a solid place to take in a show. I would have no problem visiting again.

The doors were locked, and the lights were off. There was nothing on the door about the cancellation of the show. They had cancelled the previous night's performance. However, we received no information about the Sunday show. Quite a disappointing experience. Now we have to wrestle with them to get our money back.

Attending this theater's productions is a real treat. The actors are much more accomplished and…read moretalented than one normally sees in community theater. There isn't a bad seat in the house and the volunteers absolutely go out of their way to make sure everything is as perfect as possible. As a disabled person I have my challenges and they really go above and beyond to ensure I am comfortable and cared for. Every single volunteer is pleasant and thoughtful and they all give 100%. The costumes, direction and choreography of the plays is spot on and the attention to detail is very professional. I am always blown away at the level of professionalism here. As I said earlier, it's a level above what one normally finds in community theater. It is a fun experience to attend these performances. There is lots of parking and everything is handicapped accessible. Do yourself a favor and take in a show.

We had happily volunteered as ushers for many productions from plays to musicals and made it one of our favorite dates for several seasons. We always enjoyed the remarkable talent, time, and commitment this local theatre brings out to share with the community from the fantastic stage designs and sets to its diverse and talented casts of performers. The Green Room offers light refreshments for purchase and has fundraising raffles, too. It's a neat place to stop into during intermission, and you're now permitted to bring your beverage into the theatre now, as long as you're mindful to remove and dispose of your trash when leaving the theatre. The theatre's name might include the word little, but it has a large heart! Let's keep it clean! While we are big fans of Broadway in New York City, and have purchased season tickets to Broadway in Norfolk, the Little Theatre of Norfolk provides amazing shows and performances that we highly recommend. So, when a friend saw that LTN was offering 'In the Heights, A New Musical' by Lin-Manuel Miranda, we couldn't wait to join them for the show. It was their first time at LTN. We're all big fans of Lin-Manuel and this weekend's performance did not disappoint. We were moving to the beats and humming in our seats. The set designs were vivid and bright, and the lighting used on and off stage, along with the cast singing and dancing in the aisles were electric. Job well done LTN!

The staff were friendly as we checked in and found our seats, and the Green Room bar is a nice touch if you'd like to enjoy a beverage during the performance. As for the show--Gaslight--I was genuinely impressed. The acting was superb, the set design captured the period beautifully, and the tension of the story was carried expertly by the cast. This classic psychological drama tells the story of Bella Manningham and her manipulative husband Jack, whose strange behavior slowly convinces Bella that she may be losing her sanity. Without giving away the mystery, the production builds suspense masterfully and delivers a powerful payoff that keeps the audience fully engaged. If you enjoy live theatre performed at a high level, The Little Theatre of Norfolk is well worth a visit. This show was spectacular!!! I would say it was better than 4 out if the 5 cirque du soleil shows!!! (Tops all except the Beatles love show;-). The kids were entranced!!! Yes, even the 2 yr old stayed entertained. It was soooo worth the money, and I would go back again and again!!! Never wasting $100 on a cirque ticket again!!! I attend a showing of this on Wednesday night with 3 friends, not really sure of what to expect…read more We were one of the few groups there without children, so I was a bit apprehensive when we first arrived. However, as soon as the show began we were captivated. It was very exciting from start to finish and not like any other event I have been to in this area before. The performance was about 2 hours, divided into many smaller performances that were each about 5 - 8 minutes (guesstimating) . Of all the performances, there was only one that we thought was a little cheesy. Otherwise, we loved the show and had a great time. I was considering bringing my 4 year old niece, but there are parts of the show that I thought could be scary to a small child. I would guess most of the kids there were probably 6-10 years old. If you're looking for something different to try out, definitely give this a go. The arena is pretty small too, so i wouldn't recommend paying the VIP price for tickets, since there's only about 20 rows of seats anyway.

Akon and the Les Twins also were giving the crowd what we wanted!! Lit lit, and his outfits were nice!! The staff were all friendly! I felt safe and had a blast sincerely. The food is pricey af so be prepared to pay $20 for a few chicken tenders and fries. I paid $10 for 12 fries. I was still hungry afterwards. Lol. Luckily everything else made up for it. So bring snacks from home to save money! You can also bring a sealed bottle of water. They have a few different food options like hotdogs, burgers, popcorn, margaritas, and etc. The bathrooms are hot as hell, so be prepared to get in and out. Also bring sanitizer, because they run out of soap sometimes. I saw a bunch of nasty people walk out without trying to wash those dirty hands. Ewww!! Neyo is one of my favorite artists so when I saw he was touring with Akon, I immediately bought tickets. Once we arrived, parking was very smooth. I love how they always have the parking attendees outside directing people where to park, it makes the process quick and easy. Walking in to the Amphitheater was just as quick. Since we had our clear bag, they quickly looked through it as we walked through the metal detectors and that was it. Then, we scanned our tickets and walked through the gate. It took maybe 5 mins altogether. After meeting up with my friend, we found our seats and grabbed some food. We decided on their Ranch Chicken Wraps and Fries and they were actually very good. My daughter loved them so much, she went back and grabbed another Wrap lol! With this being a concert venue, the food and drinks were a bit pricey but that's to be expected. The show was absolutely amazing! It's always such a good feeling being able to sing along with the artists you grew up listening to! Between the confetti, the streamers and the acrobatics, they put on a great show! The sound and lighting were just as amazing and the staff were phenomenal, as always!!!!

It's off of Virginia Beach Blvd behind other shops, very easy to miss. It's a one story venue with a big area to hold all types of events. There's also a dance floor and bar area. From what my friend said, there's package deals that includes decoration, lights and food that is very reasonable. There's also an area space to get married, to have that one stop shop. Overall it's a good space
