Yesterday we lost Lottie her respiratory illness came on very fast and we did all we could but it was just too much. Everyone was so nice and tried all they could I'd like to mention Dr. Carder especially. He was wonderful to deal with even through the worst of times. Tuesday when we threw the hail Mary he was generally concerned and let us know the chances. When we brought Lottie in for her final visit he was almost as upset as we were and that meant a lot especially since we are relatively new clients to the practice. As we have a large fur family we've been to two other clinics in Atlanta and the accreditation they have I believe it is AAHA but it does make a difference, Even with the COVID Dr. Carder and the staff were accommodating, caring and very thoughtful. Unfortunately the house is sooooooooooooooooo quiet even with 2 dogs and a cat left and we'll miss our Lottie pants with all of our hearts, she was the sweetest little girl and absolutely the lowest maintenance person on the planet all she wanted was whatever you were eating and a belly rub. Preferably at the same time. We love you Lottie Pants and well always keep you in our hearts. read more

I will never bring my pets back to this clinic. Imagine spending over $1000 as a customer in one month with a pet clinic, only for the vet to walk in the room on your last visit and for her to speak to your dog and NOT acknowledge you as the customer. Dr. Melinda Cindea is ridiculously unprofessional and rude. I have 2 pets and had to bring them a total of 5 times in 30 days for regular and follow up appointments. Each time I left spending $180-$300. The vet techs have little information to give you and the 4 out of 5 appointments I had to deal with Dr. Melinda Cindea she was dismissive, made snide remarks, or just overloaded you with information to the point where you had to ask a million clarifying questions... I think she did that intentionally to be confusing. On my 2nd to last visit I paid $277. Soon after I left I received a call where the phone rang once (I assumed it was a misdial), so I didn't call back because it was after 9 and they close at 9. My last visit, they told me I had a $110 balance from the week prior. I asked the tech why and she couldn't explain it. Dr. Melinda Cindea came in, didn't acknowledge me as a person in the room, gave my dog a 3 minute assessment, and later demanded I pay the balance. They also made mention of calling "several times" to address said unpaid balance. I told her I received one call and she cut me off saying they called from a different number and there was a record of the calls "she had just looked at" to which she did not show. Overall, this was a very sour experience, and after I let her know I wouldn't be coming back because of my experience with her directly, she responded, "That's fine" as if she owns the clinic herself. I don't recommend this clinic. Money is their interest, not your experience patronizing their business. read more

Never made it past lady answering phone. She didn't seem at all interested in acquiring my business. I asked if they talk new patient walk ins and she simply said no. I asked if they had any appointments today and she simply said no. No offer of the next available or how to register as a new patient or anything. After a couple seconds pause to see if anything else would be said, I said thank you and she said , "uh-huh!" Now maybe it's because I've been up with a sick dog all night and I'm just super irritated but if you don't take walk ins and the phone appointments are what you count on, I feel like a little interest in the potential customer is probably a good idea. But maybe this business makes enough money to pass on one. Idk. Super annoyed. The location would have been perfect and so convenient! read more

The veterinary care at The Vet Clinic is superb from the receptionists and ones answering the phones, to the veterinary techs, to the veterinarians, and other supportive staff, in all of my visits with my pets. Kindness and care as well as expertise in diagnosing and treating illnesses or injuries to "routine visits" for health education, promotion , vaccinations, and such, have been exemplified by all who participate in the range of services offered. There are ones who walk dogs and care for pets being boarded, hospitalized, groomed, and probably ones who clean the office to maintain a healthy environment. And I must say, the apoquel, though quite pricey, has been a miracle for my little Frenchie! His allergies have been so bad since we moved here and your recommendation of apoquel has seriously saved him! We love you guys! Thank you so much for caring about our child!! And a side note: when we moved to GA, we instantly had to take my guy to the emergency vet because his feces was straight blood. I went on vacation for the 4 July and the clinic was welcoming and this was my first time boarding my dog during a vacation. During the stay, they planned to do groom her and my baby was in need of a trim. I pick her up and the boarding still seemed great because she was happy. I picked her up and went home, then I was concerned about her grooming because when I took her home they missed her nails. She didn't smell like she had a fresh wash and she was still shedding hair, not as if she was freshly brushed. I called and they told me to bring her back and they apologized. I can back the next day and they clipped her nails but they didn't wash or offer anything for the next time due to their mishap lol interesting I guess I do a better job and they don't deserve my money read more

Dr. Harvey and staff are kind, efficient and make Buddy feel like he is the cutest dog they have ever seen (maybe he is ;). The annual check ups are very thorough, as was Buddy's recent visit for GI distress (almost thoroughly resolved). Dr. Harvey is extremely knowledgeable, straight forward and professional. Overpriced!!! The doctor listened to me with concern, then gave an itemized estimate that was completely different then discussed. When questioned, they charged more for coming back into the room. Very disappointed to be charged over $300 for consultation, bloodwork and antibiotics that I could have gotten for $5 on 1-800 pet meds. read more

I've never left a review in my life but this place earned it. I called about an emergency and the woman who answered the phone was very rude. After telling her what was going on with my cat, the first question she asked, was if I was a patient with this practice, when I answered "no", she responded with a sharp, "well then maybe you should call an EMERGENCY clinic" with the most catty attitude I've ever received from a receptionist. I strongly advise this organization to seek out a better representative for their company, this is the voice of your company and their behavior is losing customers for you. At least me. read more

I've been coming here for years due to great experiences with 2 vets--Dr Harvey who diagnosed my boys herniated discs and was all around amazing, and Dr Daniel who went above and beyond, keeping my dog with her overnight when I couldn't get her there for surgery the next day). Sadly those vets are gone. I had a very good experience with Dr Cindea as well, who was kind but to the point about my dog's potential diagnosis. She didn't waste time (when time counts), which I appreciate. The front desk has always been pleasant, as well as the techs. Sadly, they've gotten much busier within the last few years, and it hasn't translated well with wait times or waiting room management. I definitely get that staff gets sick, or short staffing generally, but consistently now, wait times past your scheduled time have increased drastically. This also translates into the waiting room. It's small, and people have untrained/aggressive dogs they can't (or won't) handle sitting out there. My dog almost got bit today by someone who let their dog get close to mine. Poorly trained animals aren't the fault of the vets (in fact, I'm sure vets and techs jobs are made exponentially harder due to poorly behaved animals), but the waiting room should be managed better--either make people wait in their cars and get them when the room is ready, or don't book so many people, so if appointments run long, you aren't getting backlogged where pets can't be brought back to wait in treatment rooms (versus all together in waiting room). It's a business, I get it, but I'm not going to a place where my dog can get bit by someone who can't control their pet. And sadly those people are everywhere, all the time, oblivious. Vet offices can't force people to train, muzzle, or at least restrain their dogs--but they can do their best to keep pets separated, which sadly, I don't see being done here. read more

The staff was SO rude to me on the phone. So rude in fact that I would never take my pets there and would like to see Elizabeth reprimanded or something for her unwillingness to listen and telling me that I was clearly upset because I accidentally said holy sh*t when she told me my pets couldn't be seen for a month. I apologized immediately but she got very rude and told me I should find somewhere else for my pets. A grown woman being so offended by something like a little curse word slip. I wasn't even angry... just surprised. Wow. Not that it will make any difference... but I would not recommend this place. I've lived in Marietta for 3 years now and my pets have all been to this vet only when necessary. Just for immunization and an occasional ear infection. I now have to go through finding another vet because the front desk staff is awful. I forget the older ladies name at the front desk but she is as rude as they come. If you want kindness, caring and people who want to help your animals when they have an issue, find yourself another vet. Horrible experience. For no reason. read more

Doctors are okay. I miss the vet I had before I moved here. Requesting refills is painful. I have done it online twice. First time I was not notified it was ready. The second time, it was NOT ready and I had to wait for them. That was the point of requesting them ahead of time...I didn't want to wait! I'm switching to an online pharmacy that knows how to do online request. Probably going back to my original vet...might be worth the hour drive! read more

I just moved to the area and needed to find my baby girl a place for checkups. I have been taking her to wellpet humane for the past 4 years because of the reasonable pricing. I wasn't able to find similar clinics like that, so I choose one closer to my area. This clinic is located between roswell road and fairground . I made an appointment for this Saturday on the same Thursday. We arrived a bit earlier, 15 minutes. They told us right away. Savannah was the vet tech and took great care of her. I had a few questions about my cat's health and hygiene. They took time to answer my concerns and cleaned up her nails, her area and ears. Well, these services are not free but they are doing a much better job then me without my cat hating me. They also prescribed her some ear cream since she has allergies. Anyways, the staff there was supper nice and professional. I hope the price can be better, but I will definitely take her back! read more

I can't state enough how disappointed I am at the quality of care for our six-year-old golden retriever and service animal. Despite bringing her in repeatedly with concerns, some fatal problem went undiagnosed by The Veterinary Clinic in Marietta, and we lost her. We even followed up and never got a reply. Dr. Daniel and the staff are #1 in my Jack Russells book ! Having senior dogs we are very selective whom we allow to see our beautiful girls. Two of our girls needed surgery recently and Dr. Ali Daniel took great care with them. Her staff is caring and very loving with senior girls. Both girls did very well. (Mom & Dad were very worried though.) Our 15 year old girl came through all of her surgery and is back to being a sassy and bossy girl again. Our 8 year old Cushing's girl is doing well too. We were recommended to come here from our other Veterinarian for their oral surgery; so we felt it was quite an honor when another Veterinarian says Dr. Daniel is the best. Dr. Daniel takes time with you, answers all of your questions, (and we have thousands) and makes sure you are comfortable with every suggestion she has for your fur babies. We are very concerned pet parents, she is too, and it shows. Thank you TVC for being a great Vet office. You have our gratitude for life. I took my dog into the vet last week because he has been throwing up. They really were no help at all and didn't give me much information. They said he really needed x rays but couldn't give them to him without sedating him. Therefore they sent me home with a ton of sedatives to give him myself which I don't feel comfortable doing. The vet called the next day and I noticed on the pills that he has lost a lot of weight. I told them and they told me to come in and they would re weight him. After they weighed him they said do you have an appointment, I said no y'all told me to come in asap and then sent me home and said they would call me. 5 days later, still no phone call and they were no help at all. I was standing in the waiting room and the 2 receptionist were just talking to themselves completely ignoring me and my dog. I will not be going there ever again because they were no help whatsoever and knew my dog has been throwing up and lost a lot of weight. Do not recommend. read more

I have been going here for quite some time with all my cats and dogs. They are very kind and understanding (especially since I have been a little pesky/needy with my animals needs, RX refills, etc). Elizabeth is awesome and always makes you feel like you and your pets are their only customer! She is probably half the reason I go here. And then Dr. Mazza is also superb! I prefer her to the other Vets because she is very practical and gives cost-effective care. The others are also good (but not always as cost conscious). They have extended hours that even work with my crazy nurse schedule! They will always try to fit you in if you are having problems too. Can't recommend them enough. read more

I have been going to The Veterinary Clinic since I adopted a dog from the Atlanta Humane Society about two years ago. I schedule all of my dog's appointments with Dr. Ashley Mazza. Dr. Mazza has always been friendly to my dog and I, and she answers any and all questions I have regarding the health of my dog. The office itself is run very efficiently, and I have never had to wait more than five or ten minutes to be taken to an examination room. All of the office staff and vet techs are friendly, and its obvious that this vet office is full of animal lovers. Recently, I had a personal emergency due to a death in my family. I called the Vet clinic and explained and asked if they room for my two border collies....Their words..."Do not worry, we will make it work"...and with that I did not worry about my dogs who are my life. I can not begin to tell you the comfort they gave me. I could just worry about my human family. It was such a load off my mind and heart. I picked them up today...they were happy and honestly better behaved than when they are with me..Lori (kennel manager) gave me a historical of how they did (who ate etc). She even said they were good and did not bark all the time. As a previous vet tech and someone that thought I would never find another vet like the one I worked for and used for years (I needed someone closer to my home), I found one at The Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Daniel is the sweetest person and an intelligent/ talented vet. She treated my dog for diabetes and would go out of her way to help us in any way. I trust her 100%. I love that she truly cares about me and my pets. When we lost him she made a very difficult time as easy as it could be for me. I have been using The Veterinary Clinic since 2000 and mainly Dr. Ashley Mazza. I would not take my animals to any other clinic unless it was an emergency and after hours. I have had nothing but great service and all the staff is incredibly caring. I LOVE going in and the folks know my name! When I have had animals that were seriously sick the clinic always made sure that both my animal and I were cared for and not just a number in their books. read more

I had a terrible experience with this vet office. I transferred my 3 dogs from another vet who retired. I didn't know much about them but a neighbor had a positive experience. Our first visit was ok. The vet was good but the tech and office staff a little less than helpful. At the time of the visit I purchased a year of heart worm protection for 2 of my dogs but only 6 months for the other because I still had some at home. However, when I ran out and tried to purchase more heart worm protection I was told I would have to bring my dog in for a blood test because she had been off of protection for a few months. I assured them that no doses were missed as I was using some I had left. They would not accept my word that no doses were missed. I was told this was office policy and would not sell my the heart worm protection! I fired them and went to vet who trusts and believes the pet owners! I found this to be an insulting experience. Stay clear of this clinic - they just want to charge everything they can and do not respect the fact that the pets are most loved by thier family - not vet! read more

We have been taking our dog, Ace, to Dr. Carder since we got him 7 years ago. He recently took a sharp decline in health and unfortunately passed away. It was a sad ending, but Dr. Carder tried everything he could to save him. The office staff is friendly, helpful, and patient with your concerns.
