Sign in Dr. Sasha's office! Too cute

Just left Sandy Paws with my fur baby, Koda for the first time and I am BEYOND pleased! Let me go down the list... 1. I called in this morning the young lady that answered the phone was very pleasant and able to fit my baby in the same day to see Dr. Sasha. 2. When we arrived Cain (who Koda loves) was already at the front door with a big smile to greet us (I could tell he was smiling even with a mask on). It was a very friendly welcome he gave us and our baby! 3. We were able to go back with our dog and talk with them personally about the issues going on with him. Cain was a great listener and gave Dr. Sasha all the information we gave him so she could know exactly what was going on when she came in. 4. Dr. Sasha! Wow! She was the sweetest vet I've experienced since having my baby. She was beyond attentive & calmed my nerves. She interacted with Koda and made all of us feel so welcomed! 5. Chris who helped with Koda's injection was also very friendly and kept a smile on his face the entire time. 6. You could tell Dr. Sasha's main concern and focus is the animal. Every vet I've been to is only about the money. You could tell this wasn't the case for her! If you're looking for a place to take your fur baby with good customer service, friendly staff & a doctor that actually CARES for them, this is the place!

I'm ONLY giving them 3 stars because of the front lady. But the communication of the doctors to the clients needs to change. I recently got my dog neutered there. For almost 700$.. mmmh. Ok. I will be asking about my "deposit" soon too. That's ok. I should of turned away when I couldn't even walk in the building with my dog. The doctors seems nice but don't really know what their doing, and definitely not from this country. Sorry but I believe I should be getting someone that speaks 100% English. She didn't even write anything down for me she expected me to remember it all. The 3rd day... my dog wasn't using the restroom and I got nervous... so they fit me in righty away. (Only good part) they took my dog for a few hours to "watch him". Then I pick him up. Oh I should remind you they didn't give me instructions for my meds... they just told me how many hours not how many days. On the bottle it said every 24 hours. Not HOW MANY DAYS. So I believe on day 6... we're in the ER because the medicine they gave my dog is TOXIC to animals. And guess what... my dog is 5lbs. Oh and they refused to see my dog... so I had to go somewhere else and pay more money. Please don't go and spend your money here.

Sasha and her team were fantastic to work with, super accommodating and their services are fairly priced.

Dr. Melinda Cindea is ridiculously unprofessional and rude. I have 2 pets and had to bring them a total of 5 times in 30 days for regular and follow up appointments. Each time I left spending $180-$300. The vet techs have little information to give you and the 4 out of 5 appointments I had to deal with Dr. Melinda Cindea she was dismissive, made snide remarks, or just overloaded you with information to the point where you had to ask a million clarifying questions... I think she did that intentionally to be confusing. On my 2nd to last visit I paid $277. Soon after I left I received a call where the phone rang once (I assumed it was a misdial), so I didn't call back because it was after 9 and they close at 9. My last visit, they told me I had a $110 balance from the week prior. I asked the tech why and she couldn't explain it. Dr. Melinda Cindea came in, didn't acknowledge me as a person in the room, gave my dog a 3 minute assessment, and later demanded I pay the balance. They also made mention of calling "several times" to address said unpaid balance. I told her I received one call and she cut me off saying they called from a different number and there was a record of the calls "she had just looked at" to which she did not show. Overall, this was a very sour experience, and after I let her know I wouldn't be coming back because of my experience with her directly, she responded, "That's fine" as if she owns the clinic herself. I don't recommend this clinic. Money is their interest, not your experience patronizing their business.

The vet tech went back and a conversation occurred with Dr. Day. She did not want to "get in the middle of" a lost dog and the dog should go to the pound. All of these conversations occurred in the back but I could hear all of the commentary clear as day. I informed the vet tech that posters had been posted (physical and e-postings), the Cobb county pound had been notified, and I just wanted to make sure the dog was healthy while we continued to look for the owner. Another back room conversation occurred and I finally opened the door to inform the group that I could hear them. If they did not want to provide services I can find another vet. I was just trying to do the right thing by the dog. I felt so uncomfortable and judged by Dr Day for being a descent human being. It's funny because we usually go to Powers Ferry Animal Hospital but I'm searching for a closer vet since we just moved to the area. They not only lost my business with this dog but also with two other pets as well. Do better and know that people can hear you and your words and opinions matter.
