I have driven by this place for more than 10 years, possibly longer ... finally made an appt last month. Interior / Exterior Plenty of parking. Interior-wise, I only saw the waiting area / lobby - but it was very bright, airy and clean. Smelled good in there too. Price / Value Like all groomers, prices vary based on the size of the dog. Some groomers charge more for long-haired doggies, not sure if they do. So these prices are specific to my dog: A 'mini-groom' includes a bath and sani -trim (face, paws, butt and belly) for $37.50. And if you get a mini-groom, you can get a nail clip and grind for a discounted rate ($16.80). That's a total of $54.30. Without a bath, a sani-trim ($23) and a nail clip & grind ($22) totals $45, so getting the mini-groom is definitely a much better value. Customer Service This place will never be a good bath spot for Gizmo because you have to drop your pup off at 8am and they call when he / she is ready for pick-up. They do have an 'Express option' for an additional $22 which means the groomer will start on your pup immediately, but you still have to drop the dog off at between 8 and 9. Since I typically go to bed at 8 / 8:30am, spots like this will never work for me. The one time I tried a groomer with this type of policy, I left my ringer on to avoid missing their call and I got so many doggone robo calls and real estate calls that I wasn't able to sleep at all. And yes - I have the robo-call-spam-call-blockers, they're just not very effective. Lol. ***I've noticed that a lot of the 'boutique' groomers are going the 'no appointment route' and I totally understand that it makes life easier for them, I just don't understand how their customers deal. Even before my current wacky work / sleep schedule, I worked an 8 - 5 corporate job. There's no way I could have left work before 5pm, to pick Giz up after a groom, drop him back home, then make it back to the office,during a 1 hour lunch break to finish my day. And if I waited until after I got off work to pick him up (if they even allow that), it would be 6pm, since in traffic, it took nearly an hour to get back to this side of town. So how in the world do other customers manage this? Do they not work? Are they all independently wealthy? [thinking emoji]*** Because I couldn't schedule a bath / mini-groom with WMVC, I decided to just schedule a hygiene clip for $23. They did a great job on his belly. No 'razor / clipper burn,' but his paw pads did not look good. They left the tops shaggy, which means he will still slips and slide on the hardwood floors and the groomer didn't even clean the bottoms up as well as I can. See photos. I had to clean his paws up after I got home. Edith and Emily were at the front desk and they were lovely - upbeat & friendly and showered Gizmo with compliments and 'scritches.' Scott, the groomer, was quiet, but friendly and he even sent Gizmo out to the lobby, before finishing, so that I could take a look at his belly and butt to make sure they were groomed to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, I had no idea he was planning on leaving his paw pads looking like that or I would have commented. I also thought it was kinda odd that he didn't brush his skirt out before shaving his little rectum area. I only know this because his fur is extremely wavy after washing, but when you brush it with a slicker brush, it straightens right out. I shampooed his butt last night to prepare him for today's visit, so it was wavy. And it was still wavy after the groom. Overall I would say 5 stars for customer service, 3.5 stars for pricing and 3 stars for the groom, so I'm rating it 3.5 - 4 stars. Since I can't afford to pay $22 for a definitive appt and my brain can't afford to lose sleep for a regular bath, lol, I won't ever be able to use them as a regular groomer. But now that I've visited, I would not hesitate to at least try them out for veterinary care or annual vaccines, etc. read more

Took my long haired dog in for his summer cut and he was shaved... after asking for a summer CUT my long hair Pomeranian came back to me shaved. My mother did not know Pomeranians had double cuts and the groomer didn't care to inform / explain and instead shaved our poor dog. He'll surely spend his next winter freezing in Colorado as there is no way his hair will grow back correctly. Waited a day and a half to speak to the office manager who basically said nothing except it was a miscommunication - WRONG. Her staff was being lazy and just trying to get dogs in and out as fast as possible. They're not interested in listening to what you want don't take your dog to be groomed here. If it's possible to give this practice 5000 stars I would. I have been bringing my minpin Lucy to this clinic since moving to this area 8 years ago. They have always been there to provide all of my Lucys health and well being services. Eve is one of the most helpful compassionate souls I have ever met. She has always handled Lucy with extreme care and love. Lucy crossed the rainbow bridge today at 16 years 7 months of age. She was blind, deaf and had several seizures over the last year and today the decision was made to help.her cross over. Dr Nicole Beasley handled the euthanasia with care and a very gentle touch with Eve assisting. I would highly recommend this practice to any pet owner far and near. Felicia followed up with handling selection of an urn and how to letter it. I have had pets, dogs and cats my whole life and this team is the best group of folks I've ever know. Thank you for the love, comfort and support you have shown my family and Lucy. Please stay well and know that my entire family loves you all!!! read more

For those who love their fur babies, I recommend this vet service! I have 2 very spoiled pony-sized puppies who actually enjoy their doctor visits. The staff is always friendly and accommodate this over-protective parent with last minute calls, concerns, and weigh- in requests. If you're looking for a veterinarian group that will love your baby as you do, then this is where you want to take your family member. I've used their vet and grooming services, but haven't had a boarding need yet. However, as protective as I am with my babies, I would not hesitate to use this location because I know my 'children' would receive the spoiling and pampering they greatly deserve. I have been taking my two dogs and one cat to this vet for 5 years. I have had many problems but stuck with them but today was the last straw. I called them for an emergency appointment. My Boston Terrier has a possible broken leg in a lot of pain. They told me sorry they are full today maybe tomorrow. I tried to explain but with no help from them, Eve the manager was off and they called her at home. Again they told me they could not see her even with the emergency situation and to go to another vet. I do agree with other reviews they try to sell you every test or product they have I just learned to say no. Recently returned to West Marietta Vet Clinic. My dog gets Immuno therapy shots every 4 - 6 weeks. We were greated promptly and in\out quickly. I would recommend this facility without hesitation. read more

The staff at West Marietta is absolutely amazing. I recently had to bring in my Missy for a dental, and yes it was a little expensive, but she had to have a good bit of her teeth removed. She is doing so much better now after getting those rotten teeth out of her mouth. Throughout the whole process I was given updates and they even cleaned up her little face after she was done. Not only were they super helpful and friendly, but they called me a few days later to check on her and make sure she went back to being her normal chubby spoiled self. She normally isnt the kind of dog to handle stress well, to the point she would actually make herself vomit, but she hasn't done that one time with this office. Not only that, but there have been more than a few last minute checkups for her and they have always done their best to squeeze me in and make sure Miss is okay. The warmth and genuine concern for me and my fur baby makes for an amazing environment for us. I love them!!! read more

I have been taking my children (pets) to Animal Health Center for at least the last 12 yrs.. Could be longer. I have my very best friend, a 6 yr old 92 lb black and white mix, being taken care of by these excellent care givers since he was a puppy.. He has a skin disorder that causes him discomfort if not being treated, but we found he was allergic to, of all things, Dust Mites.. He has spa days every 2 weeks and allergy shot every two weeks.. That is making his life so much more comfortable.. Thank you Dr George, Eve, Melynda, Stephanie, Misty and the wonderful bather/groomer Faith, and the staff I did not mention, for your loving care of my best friend.. Recently have added a baby girl to the family and the puppy care is exceptional as well.. This care facility loves all the animals that are under there care and even the ones that are not. I began bringing my now 10 year old dog to Animal Health center when I moved to the Marietta area two years ago. They were good the first year. My dog had a reasonably priced surgery, the vet and staff seemed professional and all was fine. In December when I took him for his shots, they tried to sell me $700 in unnecessary tests and "allergy pills" and misdiagnosed a birthmark as a potential thyroid problem. I decided to let it go because I understand everyone is out to make a buck; however, recommending expensive invasive procedures merely because a dog is "geriatric" is reprehensible. Today I received a marketing letter from Ceva/Animal Health Center. They deny selling my information for marketing purposes nor providing information to Ceva. This is the last straw. If you want a Vet who treats you and your animals like a commodity and is happy to sell your private information then by all means go there. If not, go ANYWHERE else! I picked up his records today and I will never go back. read more
