Moderately successful outdoor mall developed way before the pandemic. Just across the street from Fairview Town Center,The Villages at Fairview are much more utilitarian. Anchored by some significant retailers like Target,Dicks and beat buy,this center pulls more traffic than across the street resulting in a bigger selection of stores and restaurants. I tend to shop here more often as a result especially the easier to navigate landscape. read more

Sad how the Fairview shopping center has declined in popularity, businesses, and eye appeal. I don't frequent this shopping center. A rarely shop. Also the mall is closer than this shopping center and they have the same type of stores. Walked it today and it's sad how it's declined. No Macy's and many restaurants have closed their doors. Not sure how this happened but it's sad. The dot com era has made people lazy. Unfortunately this is the outcome. I hope the people managing this shopping center property can come up with something other than getting a hardware store and insurance company to move in. I can't believe that they haven't thought of this when they all the buildings operating. Why isn't there a monorail, tram, connecting the Allen Outlet mall to the Fairview shopping center . Two rails keep the customer coming in and out without having to worry about parking and the traffic. Hope this Fairview shopping center gets revived. read more

So sad that the sand volleyball courts are gone. When I was going to community college this was my go to after work and school with friends. I remember them talking about tearing it down for a hotel and signing a petition but apparently no one cared. I know I haven't been there in a couple of years because of it and I'm sure it's lost business. I'm tired of big business coming in to tear down community staples. read more

This shopping center is kind of sad. It is pretty new-ish and clean, but there is a lot of vacant spaces and it's not very active here. We went here on a Tuesday night to eat at Cane Rosso and it was eerily quiet. We came here again on the weekend and it was just as quiet.. There is a small number of restaurants here. Unfortunately Cane Rosso just closed down, which was a favorite of mine. There's also a Whole Foods, Macy's, Old Navy, Container Store, and a movie theater, among others. A lot of these stores and restaurants are outside of the main area of the town center, so there's not much traffic in the middle area where there should be foot traffic... I think this place could thrive more if only more stores opened up. However there is some stuff competition as there are a lot of established stores across the street at the Village in Allen. read more

I enjoy coming here on occasion. When the weather is great, it's very enjoyable since it's all outdoors. They have a lot of fun events and have a nice Christmas display outside of Macy's during the holiday season. The restaurant choices aren't too great here, but there are a lot of options across the street on Stacy Blvd. so it's not too horrible. iPic Theaters and Splitsville make it a fun place to check out for reasons other than shopping. There is tons of parking and I don't feel like it ever gets too crowded. Check it out! read more

Love. As a mom, this place is great because it has a huge long walking trail that winds around places like a playground and THE COOLEST SPLASH PAD. There are great spots to stop at like Yumilicious and Paciugo. There are casual spots like Purple Cow, but also fancy spots like steak houses and Italian. There's a bowling place and the most awesome dinner-and-a-movie place ever. There's are places to shop for groceries and clothes. It's clean, spacious, and.... awesome. I don't know how much the apartments in the area are, but it would be amazing to live there! read more

LOST ITS APPEAL!!! I loved this area. The beach (volleyball, sand park, garden and dog park) plus the fountains made the perfect addition to the shopping and dining! When the weather is great it is so nice to take the kids do a little shopping, dine at one of the restaurants with a nice patio then watch the kids play in the sand park, then cool off in the fountains which light up after dark. It's beautiful and fun. It offers something for everyone. It has been a favorite spot for my family the past few years. I'm sad to say the fun is over. The beach is being torn down to make way for a Hilton 2. Yay! Not really. With no big draw for family fun this area has lost its charm and I'm not likely to continue shopping or dining here any longer. read more

It's a wonderful outdoor shopping experience and very spread out. There are a ton of stores and really yummy restaurants, plus a movie theater! I love coming to the La Duni location out here for some tasty Latin cuisine. You could totally make a day out of coming here. Definitely a cool spot to get away on the weekends and spend some money! I feel myself being pulled here every weekend for something to do. They have so many activities and things to do...from window shopping, casual or fancy dining, bowling -to- watching movies at a premium theater, playing sand volleyball or playing life size chess! There is something for all ages and even a canine park for the pups! My kids love running through the hedge maze and playing in the train caboose. Seriously, the place is more of an addiction than anything else. Only complaint is the amount of people who swamp here and cramp up the place. read more

This place is amazing! Just park and walk. Everything you need is right here. The movies, bowling alley, a dillards, macy's, jc penny's, and the list goes on with tons of stuff to eat and drink near by. tons of candy, popcorn, ice cream and more!!! This is a nice outdoor mall with great events. We especially enjoy the beer walks and around Christmas Santa's Village and parade. They have very interesting stores and a nice variety of restaurants (La Duni, Twisted root, Cyclone Anaya, Purple cow, etc.) so overall it's a great place to come to. read more

Excellent- this has the best parts of being a big shopping center (big department stores & plenty of parking) & the best parts of smaller shopping centers (small streets to stroll/window shop) Good -driving in & out is easy. Bad- nothing. :) read more

As a teenager, it was my favorite spot to hang out. Now seems like all my favorite store are gone. The Fairview side can't keep anything open for business. And have the nerve to take away the volleyball court. Instead of building homes, try putting (and leaving) more stores and entertainment. There's already not much to do in Allen. read more

Maybe building a Hilton will keep all the noisy kids away so people can actually enjoy their meals out. It's a nice shopping area. Never too crowded on weekdays. Italian food and steakhouses. Recently wild salsa (Mexican) place opened up. The farmers market is the best thing of all of Fairview if it's even a thing anymore. Not a bad area. Stay away from the trashy Macy's at that location though. Yikes. read more

All major departments stores are here - Macy's JCPenny, Dillards. There is a large number of restaurants including Cyclone Anayas, Babusan, Patrizio, Baileys, Purple Cow, Paciugo, and the list goes on. It's a great place to get everything you need. They have a small water park for little ones to run around and play in along with a water show nightly. read more

Great shops, great atmosphere here. Love the variety of stores it's gotten over the years and it's a great location! Lots of areas and stores that kids would enjoy too. It's very nice to drive or walk around during the holidays and the light and decorations are modern and just beautiful. Great concept. They need to do a better job at marketing as this place is easily overlooked. Most of the stores and restaurants are not only set far back from the street, but are actually in the back of the property. Check out the fountains, Glorias, and soon to come...Canne Rosso. read more

This is a new area for shopping as it has only been open a couple of years and some of the store buildings have yet to be rented. This is a free standing shopping experience thus during the summer it is going to be hot going from your vehicle to various stores and you will have to drive a lot from parking lot to parking lot. There are some nice stores mixed with the usual box box type retail stores found in most shopping centers.; These store and the shops are mostly new thus that adds to a pleasant shopping experience. In addition to this sopping ares there are shops and shopping on all four corners of this intersection.Plus there are dozens of eating establishments. You can spend the whole day here. The kids will love the playground and the dogs will love the dog park. Take both!!!! read more
