The management here has been so gracious in every way towards us, plus it gives the residents of GL an opportunity to enjoy the music of the Big Band era. Great entertainment for the residents and guests. In the past several months, we have had a few friends become residences at Grand Living and it's certainly the place I will plan to go when it's my time to relax and enjoy the later Golden Years. Everyone at Grand Living is wonderful. The facility is impeccable and very impressive in so many ways. Always neat, clean, well staffed, and a smile on everyone's face! Residents and staff! Great location and facilities. If you should visit there for yourself or your elderly loved ones, you will think you are going to a five star resort. This is the way I personally think a home for retirement should look, feel and offer life in the slower lane. Thank you, Grand Living. Bob, and the band

Many of the residents attended the wedding as well and they were happy and looked amazingly healthy. The food was outstanding and we were invited back for another meal and the food was just as good that time. I'm not ready for this yet and my parents unfortunately are deceased but if you are looking for quality with a staff that have been there multiple years then Grand living should be your number one choice.

My HSG showed total blockage on both tubes. I was told IVF was my only chance at having a baby. I came here in May of 2021 and just tried to be open and receptive to the experience. I didn't really expect them to be able to clear my scar tissue, but I was hopeful. I felt very cared for by my therapists and enjoyed going to the clinic. Keep in mind this is not a relaxing Swedish massage though, there will be a little pain and discomfort as they work on your adhesions. I left Gainesville on May 6th and on June 20th I found out I was pregnant I am currently 25 weeks along and baby is doing great. I am extraordinarily grateful for this clinic and my therapists for restoring my fertility.

When we left the hospital I searched online to find ANY options for prevention of this again in the future, and I was thrilled to find the Clear Passage online site which we both devoured in the days following his surgery. We decided to invest in our mental and physical well-being by taking money out of savings to go through the week-long physical therapy for him. Since it is a huge financial investment, we researched and chose one of Clear Passage's most experienced and committed physical therapists to work with, Sharon Hepburn, in St. Louis. We were NOT disappointed. We also learned that she is their Chief Operating Officer, and wow, were we grateful to have chosen her to work with. We had to wait to schedule the treatment for 3 months post-op and I just had my fingers crossed that we would make it to St. Louis before any recurrence of an obstruction. We did. We flew to St. Louis from California on a Sunday, settled into the comfortable hotel that they recommended, and then began therapy the next day. Sharon's office is located in a very nice suburb a short drive from the airport. There are gorgeous and spacious parks seemingly everywhere in this area and beautiful spacious estates. It was a lovely place to settle into for the week and we were fortunate to hit a week of gorgeous weather the last week of September. Between our daily sessions we had lovely picnics and walks in their parks. Sharon works with an excellent massage therapist, Maura Lee, and between the two of them we witnessed incredible shifts! I am a retired family therapist/psychotherapist and registered nurse, and I was enthralled and impressed to attend and witness each session. Sharon and Maura's deep knowledge and understanding of physiology, ability to tune into the body, adept capacity to work with emotions that arose in the treatment, and wisdom about what to do next was absolutely amazing and intriguing. The Clear Passage protocols are sequential and specific. We were both VERY impressed with the process and the results! My husband's belly is now soft and pliable. It was tight and lumpy when we arrived. A pain that he had in his lower back for many years is now resolved. He has specific self-exercises that he does daily and we both now know how to manage any recurrent obstructions should any recur, which I now strongly doubt will happen. We feel empowered and safe to travel should we choose to. We extend our very deep thanks and gratitude to Clear Passage for developing this protocol to bring health and freedom to us again, and we particularly thank the expertise and compassion of Sharon Hepburn and Maura Lee at the St. Louis Clear Passage office in St. Louis!

When my parents and my grandmother moved to the Ocala area about ten years ago my grandmother was already starting to show some signs of short term memory loss and dementia, but she insisted on living in her own home and not with my parents. The retirement community they moved into was great and it's the kind of community where everyone seems to look after each other. When my grandmother got to the point where it just wasn't possible for her to take care of herself any more they sold her house and my Mom found her a place called the Bridge at Ocala. It was a difficult decision, and a very expensive one, but the employees at The Bridge cared for my grandmother until her last breath. When I say they cared for her, I don't mean they just took care of her, I mean they cared, they really did. When she was still able to get around they brought her into the community rooms and sometimes even forced her to have some fun (she'd fight it, but then tell my Mom afterwards that she was really glad she went). When over the past year or so she had gotten so weak and ill they would get her up into her wheelchair and bring her outside to sit with her or at least so my parents could sit with her. The place wasn't perfect, and there were times when there were miscommunications and even issues with things like her meals and the cleanliness of the place, but they were few and far between. The last time I visited my grandmother it took her quite some time to figure out who I was, but it was a nice visit for me...even if she didn't remember it the next day. My grandmother passed away yesterday in the early morning, in her sleep, and I'm happy she was at The Bridge with people around her who cared for her and about her. I can't thank you all enough for everything you did with my grandmother over the past couple years and for my mother who just simply couldn't be there all the time...I don't know what she would have done without you.

My grandma indicated to multiple facility team members that she never received the medicine; to which they told her she was wrong and they know she took it this morning. She got denied today from each person she informed. I call and ask for the report of medicine distribution, at which point I was informed by Amber Grace that the delivery did NOT take place at 9am as I was first told. She will die without this medicine and nobody will give it to her without consent from a manager. None of the managers will answer...so the charge nurse Tamara refuses to give her the medicine that my grandma took by herself every day for over 60 years. I admitted her to this facility yesterday. I figured she could stay at The Bridge for around a month... Two days ago I took her out of HealthSouth acute rehab for a hip fracture. I will be taking her from The Bridge tomorrow if she is still alive and filing a lawsuit for incompetence and misconduct where they are medically liable.

The medical assistant who did my drug screen did not smile one time. No pleasantries at all. Not even hello. She opened a cabinet and said, "Put your things in there". She was all business and got annoyed that I went to the wrong side of the computer when she asked me to sign my name. I was never there before, and getting drug tested is not something I do very often. She made the whole experience really uncomfortable and weird. The company I was just hired with is a huge account for Care Spot; you would think they would treat people with respect and dignity. This MA needs to get a different job because she should not be working in healthcare, as miserable as she seemed. I am a nurse, and I leave my issues at the door when I go to work, and if I am so unhappy at work, then I move on. I would never take it out on the patients. Save yourself hours of wait time and go to LabCorp if you need a drug test. It is literally 5 minutes up the road inside of Walgreens. Looking at the past reviews, it seems that my complaint is as common as anyone else's. No one is taking accountability for the disposition of the staff members and how they are treating the patients. One review discussed a woman with head trauma who was told to go to the ER without even assessing her. Give her a bandage and send her on her way, but not to do anything at all is disgusting. I guess management is okay with their patients being mistreated. Something needs to be done about this place. There is NO room for hostility in healthcare, and that is all you get with this care spot. I implore management to make some changes, and I am available to discuss my experience if they care to do so. I doubt that will happen.
