Jennifer Martinez property mgr of the Village senior apartments in Hesperia. Doing business out of this office under the business name of Salon Diva. She knew this was the case when I asked her how I would be notified when an apt was ready for me to move in.. I didn't take the call because I don't know anyone at a SALON DIVA! I waited over 7 months to move in and either called her or stopped in constantly to see where I was on the waiting list! She took my deposit and said I missed her (FAKE) call and would have to re apply and put down another deposit. I also asked her for her bosses name and number with no reply from her!

The apartment itself is decent, and the grounds are semi-clean, but the people who live here are making it look like a real-life video game. Sadly, I had to roll the dice and move here 2-months ago without doing my research. My daughter is basically going to be a lawn ornament, no outdoor playtime for her. They need to do a better job at telling you before taking your hard earned money that smoking is allowed in the units and weed smoking is totally okay in the broad daylight, filling the space of other tenants with the smell of it and allowing the children to be around it. Parking is a mess and very limited and only certain people are allowed to utilize visitor parking and park in front of the garages. It's just absolutely ridiculous and nothing but nit picking causing a stressful living situation. I wish I could get out of my lease and move somewhere else. $2000 a month is just beyond no reasonable for all the issues listed above.

The security guard for the area lives onsite which gives me extra peace of mind as a single mom. I just recently moved in last week and I have already submitted 3 maintenance tickets along with…read morerequest my u to to be sprayed from seeing a few roaches the 2nd day living here , there is a very heavy smoke smell in my closet that is slowly leaving the kitchen cabinets were nasty and smelly you can tell the previous tenant had an infestation and did not care for the unit , I had to get my wall sockets replaced because nearly all of them were loose the ceiling fans were loose the sealant in the kitchen cabinets is poorly installed and they did not sand it down the dishwasher has a horrible smell and I only used it once and it was improperly installed, I understand units will have their own issues and I will say that they came and sprayed my unit in a timely manner and I haven't seen any "friends" and the maintenance man was fast and replacing some of the sockets ( he has to come back to fix the others) and he was friendly , however, for just moving in here I am very disappointed, i have hopes that things will get better with my stay here and I will follow up with another review

So right now it's extra quiet on the weekends. The location is great. It's gated and sits back in a low traffic area. It's safe, safer than the other options in the area. Prices are higher than renting a house or other apartments in the area. If you visit those other places, you might understand why I choose to pay a little extra to a place that feels safer and looks and feels like a place I wanted to come home to. I read some other reviews on this place. My comments to those are. There is plenty of racial variety here. Yes, it cost money to break a lease (they tell you this and go over it when doing a contract) it's pretty standard. Yes, it's a little more to live here, but if your safety and your loved ones safety is worth saving $100-$150 then go live in those other parts of town.
