This is my first time here and I love it! The shop is full of unique vintage items and gives off such a cool vibe. They even have a huge stage for shows and host tons of awesome events. Everything on the menu is organic and/or homemade (even the syrups)!!! I got a 12oz chai tea latte and it is so delicious and warming, I would definitely recommend! All their specialty lattes looked amazing too! Parking we pretty easy! It is in the downtown area of Ashland city so there was plenty of street parking. There was tons of indoor seating at different unique tables and while this was my first time there, the barista knew pretty much everyone who walked in by name! 10/10 would recommend - give this place a try! read more

This place is rarely open, so it's no use to get hooked on the coffee. It's unfortunate because it's a cute, cozy little place with quirky items for sale. However, after attempting to visit this place 5 or 6 times in a row, I give up! I am tired of playing the guessing game to figure out if it's open, so I've been going to other spots that have regular hours. Let me start off by saying, I hate coffee. My husband on the other hand LOVES it. It's a passion of his. With that being said, he loves trying out coffee places wherever we go so naturally when he realized there was one close to the house, we just had to go. The first time we went we got the special (strawberry & cream latte I think) to split. I planned on taking a sip and being done as I typically do with coffee. But not this time.. I took a sip and ended up drinking most of it because it was so good, I couldn't even believe it was coffee. My husband loved it as well and we ended up going back for more the next time we were in town and have been coming ever since. The owner is extremely friendly and sweet. Her shop is very vintage and unique and we love looking around while we are there. Her coffee is her own and it's all organic. She sells bags of it in her shop and at other small businesses in town. She also hosts a vintage movie night on Saturdays (you have to buy tickets on her Facebook or website I believe). We went to that once to see the Creature from the Black Lagoon. She gives you a bag of free popcorn and allows you to order anything off the menu (at normal price). It was a great experience and we definitely want to do that again when we have a chance. If you aren't sure what to try when you come in, you can't go wrong with her monthly specials. Those are always my favorite!! read more

I was visiting family and got to go to this amazing shop with them. I love the vibe Sheyenne has going on in the store. From the furniture, to the decorations and vintage collections, as well as the unique things you can buy. It's so welcoming as well as relaxing. Keeps you interested with their events they hold and the phenomenal coffee and food they make. I'd recommend anyone passing through to make your pee stop or coffee stop here. Sheyegirl is exactly the type of business that the town of Ashland City needs, and represents the type of growth that's needed. The staff is friendly, there are yummy treats (try the chocolate cranberry loaf), frequent live music performances (including, on occasion, Sheyegirl's own band Spechlis), and most importantly - GREAT COFFEE!!! So me and 2 of my kids (adult/teen) went to this place because we were hanging around Clarksville for the day. It was a little out of our way but it was well worth the drive (and a lovely drive at that). What a cool place, real vintage vibe. The coffee & treats are fantastic and we enjoyed browsing around the thrift area. We got some ornaments from a local crafter and enjoyed some music from a local musician while we sipped on our delicious lattes and what my son says was probably the best hot cocoa he ever had. Such a pleasant way to spend a gorgeous autumn afternoon, we will definitely return. We bought some of the coffee to bring home and it's brewing right now and it smells heavenly. Everyone who passes through Ashland City needs to visit this perfect little boutique-meets-cafe-meets-live-music-venue-meets-photography-studio. Sheyenne (AKA Sheyegirl) is incredibly sweet but is also able to run her business with finesse and class. She offers culture that's bigger than the stereotypical "southern fixin's" that you see all over ashland city (and middle tennessee).
