This rating is about the company not this location directly I was going to place an order for pick up but their app showed a number of items out of stock so I ordered online and they said we have all the item to ship I ordered only to find out the items weren't available so I have yet to receive all of my items called and was told by customer service basically too bad you have wait six business days before they could cancel and refund my money or reship the missing items so don't bother if the store says hey can just order that for you they are unreliable I'll pay the extra bucks and use Amazon lesson learned read more

She was very knowledgeable of the product I was seeking, in terms of flavors, both new & old. I will definitely be back before I leave Phoenix to get the flavors I know & love. I haven't officially bought anything from them just yet, but I did just leave there! This store was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything we buy online for health, is available in their store. And they said if you find a price cheaper online, they will price match. They did a giveaway of 1 free quest cereal bar, but that was yesterday. So we just missed it. They still went out of their way to get us 2 free samples from a different protein bar. We will be shopping here from now on instead of online .^_^. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I stopped by today with my mom to get some much needed vitamins that we were both out of. This location happens to be next to a Village Inn so I figured we'd eat breakfast and then get our vitamins! As soon as we park, a lady comes out of The Vitamin Shoppe pointing her finger at us saying "You can't park there! Customers ONLY!". I was taken aback by the aggressiveness. Does The Vitamin Shoppe really pay someone to be their watchdog to bark at potential customers? I explained to her that we were just grabbing some breakfast first and then we'd stop by to make a purchase. The watchdog said NOTHING. Just turned around and went inside. Not cool and unacceptable IMO. So I walk to the store and tell her I'm moving my car, she then says no that's fine. Um, what? I told her the way you approached us was NOT ok and you should have asked if we were going to shop there instead of assuming. She then made a comment about having to run people off every hour and continued to speak over me. So maybe she is their watchdog? It was just such a bizarre situation. I went into The Vitamin Shoppe today. The store looks nice, neat and orderly. There is not an overabundance of inventory. There were three or four men working there and I was greeted when I walked in. I spent probably 20 minutes or more in the store. I was looking for one particular item. These stores are very intimidating for me but at the same time I do like to go up and down the aisles looking at what's there. I went through most of the store and finally found what I was looking for. There was one person who was straightening the aisle I passed by (possibly stocking I'm not sure). There was only one other customer in the store so the guys were just hanging out. Not once was I asked if I needed help until I had in hand what I was looking for then the guy was very pleasant. I like this place for proteins and such. They have a good supply of what I am looking for when I don't get it from my normal source or I need it quickly. I typically only deal with the manager because he is defiantly the most knowledgeable there. The one thing I don't like is that they really do not know a ton about nutrition or supplements other than the fact that they have it on the shelf. You will have to do your own research if you want to know what works and whats the best. They will sale you whatever you want not because it works but because they like any business want to keep sales up. I gave it 4 stars because of how clean the place is and how they are willing to help, they just are not very knowledgeable beyond inventory. read more

I came here to check out their supplements and was pleased to be leaving with a bag of chocolate peanut butter protein. There were a couple different popular brands that I was familiar with and some I wasn't. The staff here is pretty knowledgeable as far as what their products are focused for doing to the body - which is nice. Imagine going to a supplement shop where they have no idea what to recommend or why to recommend it. Great customer service---manager (I think? If not, he should be!) spent at least 20 minutes or more with us explaining different products in the categories we were interested in, and never got a sense of being pressured or directed. Pretty much explained the products, answered our questions, and left us to make our own decisions. Very much appreciated his help, wish we had taken note of his name.
