I love the Nirvana in buckeye rd downtown phx!! The seasonal decorations are soooo cute!! I bring my mom here with me and she loves it so much the store looks so put together I feel like i'm going into an adult candy shop lol The staff is also pretty awesome there's a few people that don't bring the vibes but the good out weighs the bad and I usually have such great customer service! I have noticed there's no security during the day sometimes and that's a little sketch I live downtown and I know how bad that corner is so definitely think there should be security there all day when workers/customers are there! Like of all dispensaries I've purchased cheap stuff from, Nirvana's cheap stuff is easily the worst. But their cartridge selection is indeed above average, and there are quite a few specials. I am a patient and customer and I must say how truly disappointed I was when I visited your 35th Avenue location in Phoenix on 5/4/20.  Not a single employee there was wearing a mask and did not seemed to be concerned with keeping their social distance. Most of the customers were wearing masks but not a single Nirvana Center employee had one on.  In order for everyone to be protected, everyone must be wearing masks, customers and employees. Arizona's Covid 19 cases are on the rise currently.   With all of the misinformation out there, the least your company can do is take this virus and your customer's health seriously by protecting them when they walk through the door. I will not be returning and will be sure I tell everyone I know until you fix this situation and start taking some precautionary measures to protect both your employees and customers. Please consider the safety of your employees and your customer's.  This is not a joke. read more

I've only been to Nirvana Center once so far. I stopped in because like many other dispensaries, the 1st time patient deals. BOGO up to a quarter. You just can't beat it. I noticed while I was there, about 4 other patrons came in. All four of those patients were in there for the specials. Select $45 half ounces/$80 ounces and select $60 half ounces/$99 ounces. Every single person went that option. Of course BOGO deal aren't available for half ounce and ounce deals so ... next time I'll take advantage. I chose 3 strains I've never had or heard of: Golden Lemons, Grease Monkey and Sour Patch Kids. I also chose Durban Poison as my other BOGO option. While checking out I heard that the select strain of the day ($45 half and $80 ounces) was Durban Poison. I asked, what's the real difference in the Durban Poison (supposedly top shelf) that I'm paying for versus the sale Durban Poison. The buntender explained the growers. I learned in Seattle that all though the name of the strains are the same, the smell and smoke differently because of the growers. I haven't tried the Durban Poison yet to tell if it's truly high grade. What I appreciate about the Nirvana Center is whatever bud I see or smell is the bud I'm actually purchasing. The same container they let you smell out of is the same container they're going to package your bud from. Unless it's the pre-packaged bud. I REALLY like that! When I visited Nature's Medicine's' the bud I smelled and saw was NOT the same bud they sold me. I know that for sure! Lastly, when I got home and looked over the receipt I noticed I said, "Patient denied MMJ education" or something like that. That wasn't true. The MMJ educational information was never presented to me. The same thing happened at 2 other dispensaries. Makes you wonder, are they really in the industry for the medial aspect of it all? I've been going into this place weekly spending about $200 to $300 a week. For some reason this particular Sunday, someone who I believe was the manager kept telling me to put down the bags. I'm always handed the bags they proof them for me to smell them they let me touch them to make sure it's not dry. This particular lady happened to be on an unfortunate power trip. When the product on their shelves for multiple weeks at a time ( same strain and weights) and have no dates labeled on the product I NEED to know that I'm getting a fresh quality product. And are the bud cutters are not experienced enough to inform me I will flip over the bag to read the labels. Hiding labels from patients is never OK! As a medical patient for over 10 years I've never been treated in such a disrespectful way as if I was going to steal. Again this is the first ever instance I was never allowed to touch or smell the products prior to my purchase. I certainly will not be returning to this chain dispensary and certainly will not be referring any friends again. (35th ave in phx) The management is atrocious if they can't be cohesive enough to train their employees to follow the same rules than I will go somewhere that does. If the rules are changing they need to explain that to the patients that they will no longer be getting the same service as they had previously been getting. Needless to say after getting upset about her rules and completely she refuse me as a patient and told me to leave. And again I'm not going to blindly spend $200-$300 on a product that has sitting on the shelf for three weeks UNLABELED. Yes I'm going to check dates and everything I buy. From medications to cosmetics to groceries. It's unacceptable to not be allowed to check packaging labels prior to my purchase. This type of incident was a first and last because i won't be back. And sadly I've been coming every Sunday for many many months. I've been a regular here for a few years now and it used to be the best location near me for both customer service AND solid deals, however that isn't the case anymore. If you're going in expecting a deal from their website, you're going to be sorely disappointed. They claim they have deals on certain brands or products but once you order and go to pick up, you'll be surprised to find that the deal you were expecting only applies to specific strains that they fail to mention online. When you bring up this issue, they give no empathy, suggest other products that aren't on sale, and give attitude. They will also disguise a happy hour deal (spend $50 get a free preroll sort of thing) As "something for your inconvenience". Not every budtender is a problem, there are some good ones there, but I've had multiple experiences where they just don't even try to feign a good customer service attitude.
