Vitamin shop is well organized and always stocked my hubs gets his liquid stevia here and some other supplements that he takes regularly and I feel like I can trust the products here vs going online to unknown origins. read more

I shop at Vitamin Shoppe at least once a week and this one is by far my favorite to go to even though it's kind of out of the way for me. I mean they're all pretty much the same in what products they carry but the staff here are super friendly and always letting me know about the latest and greatest supplements that they carry. Can't say enough great things about the staff, they really go above and beyond without pressuring you to make any unwanted purchases. I wish every where I shopped at was like this! read more

I've been coming here at least once/month for the past couple of years and I have a pleasant experience every time! The staff is so knowledgable and friendly, especially Glo who is there just about every single time I've gone. Her customer service skills are amazing as I've experienced myself as well as her interactions with others. She's always been extremely helpful and sweet with any questions I've ever had! Supplements can tend to be complicated, but I always feel comfortable coming here because Glo always has an answer for my concerns! read more

I recently made a order to the Milford, CT store location. I ordered two things of the Orgain chocolate shakes. One whole box had a very strange taste. I would say I had about 4 of them a sip and spit it out and then I returned it but had to return both boxes because they got mixed up. It wasn't just one or two shakes the whole box had a odd gross taste. Now keep In mind I have been drinking these drinks for quite some time. And the vitamin shoppe always has great deals so I just recently started to purchase them from here. I just made a order for 6 whole boxes but needed a box until my order came. And it looked like Milford CT had a box left so even though I made a return 3 days ago I was like oh maybe they got a shipment. I had my husband pick it up. And to his dismay they had a bunch of shakes in a bag taken out of the box. My husband immediately said now wait this isn't the shakes I just returned a couple of days ago and they said oh no we had a tasting here at the store like a convention. So fast forward to him coming home with a bag of shakes out of a box and I'm like no way this is the box I returned. And the dates of the shake production was the same. My husband was like they swore they just had a bunch of boxes opened for tasting and I was like okay so I took a sip of one and spit it across the room. Again it was the rancid box I had returned. And they blatantly lied to my husbands face. Is the company doing that bad they resell returns that are defective. You put my health at risk not once but twice. The standards to do that and lie about it are to my disbelief. I feel disrespected as a consumer. I feel disregarded as a customer. If this is how you do business I want no partake in it. And honestly this store should feel ashamed. read more

The Vitamin Shoppe always has a sale going on. When they get rid of the last of a certain product they usually sell it for 25 - 50% off. I love catching those deals! read more

Beware This Company Does not Refund your Money and They claim you can exchange for another product and the Staff are not friendly when ask for refund or exchange and their customer service are no better read more

I tell everyone about your location and I still will. However, let me bring to your attention that the customer service was awful. I was not greeted by the young lady at the cashier station. I walked around with my little hand cart and she followed my every move. She saw me looking around for products, and not once did she ask could she help me(which I needed, but finally found it myself). Instead of thinking I'm a thief, she could of interacted with me to see why visited your location. I arrived at the cash out and she never looked at me, asked did I find everything, or even just make some type of chatter. The only thing she said was "would you like a bag for 10c". I said yes and she bagged my items. I tried to see if should would engaged. I ask what time the store closed (i know you close at 9) just to see if she would dialog. She said just the number "9" with no eye contact. She put my receipt in the bag, and pushed my bag towards me. I returned the hand cart. I said thank you, and she said nothing again. I felt like confronting her but I didn't. Please retrain your cashier on customer service. Your store is not cheap, so I expect to be treated with value. I've never been treated like that in this store. If I'm treated like this again, I'm done, and tell everyone not to shop.

The greenhouses are packed with beautiful plants and I return often because the selection changes rapidly. This is a great place to order plants for fund raising events too. There are horses and other animals at the farm and lots of greenhouses. Staff is helpful. Only cash and checks are accepted but not cards so remember them before leaving home.

If I hadn't looked up local nurseries I never would've known they were there, it's definitely a pleasant surprise to find this adorable farm tucked away where I never would've guessed! My birthday passed recently and the only two things I told my family I wanted to do were get boba tea and go to the nursery. Golden Acres was my choice and I'm so glad it was. I was very impressed by the variety and amount of plants they had, there was tons to choose from! They have numerous greenhouses open at various times with seasonal veggies, perennials, annuals, etc. I love that they are organic and make a point to feature what they do and don't use. I am more of an ornamental gardener who only does a few edibles, but I still try to stay organic and it meant alot to me how transparent they were about their practices. The signs at each greenhouse with pricing and variety were extremely helpful and the way it was setup almost on a trail that you followed to each greenhouse (with various plants also set up outside) made it easy to look at everything without getting too turned around. All the plants looked very happy and healthy and I didn't see any visible pests while browsing. They were close to closing when we stopped by but they never rushed us or acted inconvenienced that we were still there. I ended up purchasing 2 6pk coleus starts - wizard mix and rainbow mix (with plans to return and purchase more plants once I had more time and money), and they were very reasonably priced, transplanted wonderfully and all 12 are thriving. I was extremely impressed by Golden Acres and can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!
