The product I went there for was expired and I called other locations in a 40 mile radius and every single store only had expired stock. I went to get my money back and was refunded but still being a vitamin shop you'd expect the inventory to be in date seeing as they work less and less as it goes closer to expiring. I have always had a good experience at this store, but on Saturday, my husband and I went to the store. He was looking for Whey Powder and I wanted Biotin. There was a female employee with black hair working that day along with a young male employee. I asked her where the Biotin was, and she acted if I was bothering her. She made a hand gesture which I didn't know what she was doing. I thought she was going to come from behind the desk and help us out. No, she was rude. This is the second this female employee has been rude. This is not acceptable. My husband and I buy many products from this store. This store is always well stocked and very clean. I find the staff to be helpful but maybe not the most knowledgeable. I have been in the store and overhear customers asking for different supplements and unfortunately be sold some wrong information and at times some junk products. A great place for body and hair care at better prices than gnc. They even carry dr bronners in various sizes. Their fish oil and omega supplements in the refrigerated area is nearly $10 cheaper than whole foods. The ladies working there are super helpful and seem to be excited to work there and assist you in finding what you need. Was greeted when we walked in & asked if we needed help looking for anything. Personally stopped in to see if they had collagen peptides. The guy showed me what they carry. It was nice they had single packets so I could try them before buying an entire months worth! However, later was told that they honor returns with receipts or exchanges without one, so that's really great!!! Decided to look at the protein & BCAAs; have a lot of different selections. The lady that came up to us in the protein section offered us samples because she knew we were a little lost & was the one that told us about the return policy. She was very knowledgeable & gave us a lot of input on best selling products & difference between different products & the benefits of each. I'll definitely be stopping by this location from now on. If they carried MuscleEgg products, I'd give them a 5 star rating. Still driving 54 miles each way to get them is getting old! :) But seriously, they have THE nicest staff. THE NICEST STAFF!! I am always greeted by pleasant folks at any location of The Vitamin Shoppe, but these folks are extra wonderful! I appreciate that they carry the full line of Quest products and are always among the first to get the newly released items. They have a great selection of Syntrax and Isopure as well, which round out the proteins I buy. Knowing that if I buy anything and it doesn't meet expectations I can exchange for something else is really wonderful, too! I have not needed to, but that safety net is there and I appreciate that! I got a 90$ reward certificate for my shopping and it was a lot of fun to just spend that, I saw it as 'free money' and given that the prices are competitive, it really was an awesome bonus for shopping rather faithfully at The Vitamin Shoppe.
