I went into this location because I was shopping across the street. The door greeter didn't give the best first impression, but no worries-just needed to pick up a few things and leave. Then I walked by Cody who was beautifully explaining to another customer the features of a particular product. He connected, explained the why, and went on to helping the front because the line had gotten long. He offered to check me out and asked if I had tried a product before-I said no, it was my first time. He explained the why it's important, the features, and the benefits. Vitamin Shoppe executives listen clearly, you have got Director level talent in Cody. This is who you want representing your brand and educating customers. Don't sleep on this guy. I have always enjoyed this store. It's clean and everyone is so nice. Our experience last night was so impressive, Cody took the time to answer questions that no one else has. After explaining to Cody about my wheat allergy and other health issues, he took to the time read through all of the ingredients of the product I was buying to make sure it was safe for me to take. He took the time to explain in detail reason and science about why certain things bother me more and what would significantly help. He showed me a few other products but never pushed anything on me. He encouraged me to do research and then come back if it was something I felt comfortable with. The level of professionalism and knowledge he showed was incredible. Cody is an absolute asset to this company his level of customer service exceeded any expectations I could have had as well as he provides educated information. read more

Having recently gone Vegan for health reasons, I stopped by to pick up some B12. The staff was very polite and courteous, and out of the hundreds of options they had, I was helped pick out one that didn't contain animal products. I felt that the prices were reasonable, and again; the staff was super friendly and helpful. read more

I ventured into The Vitamin Shoppe the other day because I was sick (once again) and figured that I might be able to find something useful to boost my immune system. I almost went to GNC, but as I happened to be in the same plaza I figured I'd try someplace new. My first impression was, "Wow this place is HUGE." It's basically a supermarket of health food, vitamins and other herbal supplements. The staff member that approached me as soon as I walked in pointed me in the right direction and then let me do my thing and peruse the shelves. Everything is organized very neatly and it's easy to find what you are looking for. I went in with a pretty simple request - Echinacea, Immune Boosters - and they had a plethora of choices for me. The other cool thing is not only do they have a huge selection, but they carry an array of different price ranges. Vitamin Shoppe also has their own line of products, which are priced very reasonably. While I was there, I also checked out some of their health foods. They mostly carry energy bars and supplements, but they had a little selection of healthy drinks and snacks as well. If you're into the organic thing - they also carry some yummy looking little organic tidbits as well. If I need more vitamins, I'll probably head to Vitamin Shoppe instead of GNC - based mainly on the price and selection. You're sure to find what you need! read more

I love vitamin shoppe because they carry almost everything I could possibly ever need in my quest for health/home remedies and the staff is friendly. The (free) rewards program is awesome. Every year I get a coupon for at least $50 bucks off my purchase because of my purchases throughout the year. read more

This location is horrible for protein selection. We went in looking for PE Science and they had the smallest selection possible, which was weird because the location we usually go to on Colonial has a much bigger selection. I guess that all depends on the demographics in the area, but this location is in a "college" location, must be everyone is on that other stuff around here, haha. It is a bigger location which is nice, but they literally don't have as much as you would expect them to have. read more

So I've been to the store on three occasions. I've always had great service and I like the layout of the store. To me it's very easy to find what you need especially with the tall walls. You can just Kinda stand back and browse without moving much if you know what I mean. Upon entering the store, I greeted the cashier. She barely looked up and grunted something under her breath. Being new to the area, but a regular VS customer, I wasn't used to receiving a cold shoulder from the sales staff. When I asked where the protein section was, the sales woman just pointed over her shoulder (all while never looking up, and still doing something behind the sales counter). When I found my product, I brought it to the sales counter where the woman waited for a few seconds to acknowledge my presence. She looked up (FINALLY!) and barked at the sales clerk in the back to come ring me up, all while never saying two words to me. I have never spoken poorly about VS. The sales woman, a short lady with cropped and spiked hair that was dyed blond and pink, might have been having a bad day, however her demeanor was unacceptable. I have never felt so unwelcome as a customer in VS until today. read more

There's only 2 of these close to me in Orlando and I frequent this one because the location is convenient. It's in the plaza across from the main Waterford Lakes plaza, which means it's not set in the crazy eye of the hurricane and I'm not wanting to die the entire time I'm there. I love Vitamin Shoppe because they have a way better selection of vitamins, minerals, supplements, protein, pre-workout, etc. than places like GNC. I like to order some of my stuff from bodybuilding.com but for a physical store, this is as good as it gets. The prices are about as good as it gets. The organization of the store is probably what brings me here the most- everything is set up in a way that even if there was no one around to help, you would more than likely be able to find stuff on your own. It's clearly labeled and categorized by function, and everything is neatly placed, with pricing easy to read. They have a membership program that gives you points, and once you accumulate enough, you can earn some money off your total purchase. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and you should probably trust them on their recommendations. I went for a pineapple flavored pre-workout, against the staff's recommendation that it probably would be pretty icky- and I should've listened. SO ICKY. However, they have never led me astray otherwise. Definitely check this out if you're in need of anything for your workouts, or if you're just looking for a way to supplement your diet or your health! read more

This place is not that bad. I buy my protein powders from here. They typically have most everything that I'm looking for or something very similar. The workers are ok.
