I visited this Vitamin Shoppe location with my three children to pick up supplements and some Bum energy drinks. We are Native American, and we were dressed pretty casually today. I wasn't aware of any promotion, and I'm still unclear on what the deal actually was. I grabbed three cases and a few loose cans from a display near the register. When we checked out, the cashier, a white girl named Misti, kept mentioning a promotion but never explained it clearly. She repeated the same statement without clarifying how it applied or why she was bringing it up. She also kept looking at us in a way that made the interaction feel uncomfortable, and she was not friendly throughout the exchange. I even asked, "I'm sorry, is the concern the cost? Because I have no issue there," hoping she would clarify. She didn't. Eventually, she stated that customers can only purchase up to six cans per person in order to receive the $1‑per‑can promotional price, but she still didn't explain how that related to the items I was buying or why it mattered. I asked whether she needed separate transactions or if there was a limit on how many cases I could buy, and still received no clear answer. I finally told her I just wanted to purchase my items and leave. At the end of the interaction, I asked if there was a place to leave feedback, and she said, "I'm sure there's something on the receipt for corporate." The issue wasn't the promotion, it was the lack of communication and the overall unfriendly, uncomfortable interaction. Misti would benefit from training on how to clearly articulate store promotions and communicate respectfully with customers. read more

This review goes to the Manager AVA who could probably use some vitamin C and Moisturizer Labeled as cashier number 1543. Who followed my friend around the store as if she's never seen a black woman trying to take charge of her health at a vitamin shop before. I got her name when I came back to the store to return my friends Vitamins. She was extremely rude. I asked for the GM and she said she's the manager I asked again for the GM and she was just absolutely rude to me. I am going to report this store to the area landlord and my local BNI group including the our local chamber of commerce . The customer service is awful! read more

Chain vitamin store, which is better than buying vitamins at chain pharmacies, still it is far from having great selection. Sales person could not answer basic questions on different brands, and after I purchased vitamins they could not provide me with bags for the products I bought. Terrible customer service, i walked in and wasn't greeted but instead asked what i needed to find but I said I was just browsing, couple minutes later I get approached and asked if I needed help finding anything again, but I , once again, say I am just looking, then she continued to keep pressing me on what I was looking for, and she raised her tone and told me that I am in the wrong section. I was just browsing around and got told to go to a different section because it wasn't "meant" for me. And the cherry on top was no goodbye when I walked out but rather a cold stare. read more

This store is by far and away my go to as far as vitamins and supplements are concerned. The main reason is Justin who manages his store to perfection. Justin has a plethora of knowledge and information and will answer any questions or concerns presented to him in great detail. He spends time with the customer and is very personable and one can sense that he truly care about the customers. I feel lucky to have come across this store and met Justin. I understand it's part of the Vitamin Shoppe brand, but please don't make me feel compelled to buy YOUR brand. I actually wasn't in here to buy anything but my son and I were out for a bike ride it got hot and we asked for some water. Starbucks high school girl said no but Justin was kind and compassionate and let us use the drinking fountain. Placed a pick up order for this location since the ones near my house were out of certain proteins. I had a family member drive from Arrowhead area to here to find out by a printed sheet of paper that they close at 6pm even though the email sent said they closed 8pm. This is such an inconvenience considering hours from emailed confirmation and those printed on the door differ. read more

I found the receipt and brought it back to the store and the young man, who is either manager or assistant manager, was so friendly and so nice about the exchange. I've gone to Hi-health forever and its due to the fact its kinda close and I don't go to GNC because they make vitamin's that your body cant digest or something (i read a study back in like 98), so when I saw a Vitamin Shoppe opened up I WAS ecstatic! Really I was very excited about this, I like to buy quality supplements and was due for some reorders so this opening couldn't come at a better time. The staff is as friendly as is knowledgeable which is great they also appear to be people who work out, unlike the 40+ year old women Hi-health likes to employ. Beware!!!! Do not give your email address to this company, the debit visa card I had always used for products in the store was used for a fraudulent purchase online. The employees at FLW are super nice, it's the corporation that has terrible illegal practices, they illegally and without my knowledge used my debit card at 3:30am online, that's when I was sent an email notification about a product I never purchased and did not authorize nor had I ever purchased that product before. I called their 800# from that email to find out who ordered it and was told by the online Rep it was a "Glitch" in the system that many of these went out, I wasn't the only one, that a company official would call me to verify it - I never got the call. However, immediately after that conversation I had my bank's fraud dept on it instantly, thank goodness! That internet scam caused me a great deal of issues for weeks with many things, bill pays etc, please be cautious folks! read more

The store is smaller than the one on Shea and Tatum but it has what I want. The staff is friendly and never push you to buy anything.
