They have an attitude with everything. They recently put a $50 charge on my account for not having renters insurance (I've had the policy active and paid with USAA since moving in). I've now called five times to get them to remove this charge so I can pay this month's rent. The online portal will not allow you to pay a custom amount. Now the charge is off, but with a $130 late charge. The package situation is dumb. I have a wedding coming up, so clearly expensive and important packages will be coming to me. The front office accepts the packages from the carrier, puts them in the back of the office and when you try to get them from the front office staff, they can't find them. I have literally visited the office six times to receive two packages. They also will not allow you back there to look yourself. They never answer the phone. This is annoying, because when you walk down to the office there is usually someone sitting in the office to greet you. Even if you have a tour of a future resident, have one staff member stay in the office to answer the phones. Even if you leave a message I never get a call back. I have called on at least five occasions and received one call back. There was even a time when a resident near me had packages outside their door piling up over a couple weeks. A neighbor stopped me in the hall and we were both concerned. The resident clearly lived alone and we were concerned if the person might not be alright inside. I go down to the office to speak to the staff who visibly looked annoyed I was bothering her. She told me the resident would retrieve the packages eventually and not to worry about it. I said, "Can you please do a wellness check to make sure the person is not dead inside?" She again acted annoyed. I threw my hands up and left. The amenities are consistently broken and under repair. For a complex that talks of luxury, this is far from it. Live somewhere else.

The staff is great from the property manager Tangela is so personable as well as the assistant property manager Taylor they make you feel like you are the most important resident. They security team as well as the courtesy officers here make all the residents feel safe it's like our own little oasis. I renewed my lease after the first year with zero hesitation. But things have changed dramatically. The new leasing team, particularly Caleb and Isaiah, has made my move-out experience deeply frustrating. I sent a written notice to vacate in April, well before my lease ended on June 3, yet I was hit with a surprise "Notice to Vacate" form assigning me a false move-out date of June 20 and charging me rent and month-to-month fees I never agreed to. Caleb sent me a handwritten PDF dated incorrectly (signed as 2029), ignored my lease's actual end date, and now insists that I owe prorated rent and additional fees all the way through June 30--despite my lease ending June 3 and the unit being cleaned and vacated on time. As if this wasn't enough, Building 1's elevator breaks constantly, and the office repeatedly sends inaccurate maintenance notices. They even sent two emails about the same holiday closure--one with the wrong date. The professionalism is gone. It's disappointing to see how far this property has fallen. I once viewed The Monroe as home. Now, I'm gathering documentation and speaking with legal counsel to contest these fees and protect my rights. I hope no other tenants--especially international ones--are taken advantage of like this.

This a new build so everything still has that new smell to it. I was accompanied by Simone Powell. She was a gem. Such a polite and showed us all around the property. We even had the pleasure of viewing one of the units she staged herself which was gorgeous. I absolutely love the gold hardware in the units and all of the shared amenities. These issues were identified and documented at move-in, and I subsequently reported them verbally to management as well. Maintenance has also been inside my apartment with management present and personally observed these conditions. I was advised that some of the issues were "not repairable" and would require complete replacement. It has now been approximately six months, and I still have not received a meaningful update regarding when the necessary replacements or repairs will occur. Most concerning, I signed and am paying for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, yet I have been unable to fully use the bathtub as intended because of a condition that has been reported and observed by management. At more than $2,900 per month, I have continued to fulfill my obligations under the lease and pay the full contracted rent. I reasonably expect the apartment and its advertised features to be maintained in usable condition and for documented issues requiring replacement to be addressed within a reasonable timeframe. This is no longer a matter of management being unaware of the conditions. The issues were documented at move-in, reported directly, and personally observed by both maintenance and management. I am posting the accompanying photos because my previous efforts to obtain a clear resolution and timeline have not resulted in the necessary repairs or replacements. Perhaps publicly documenting the conditions will finally result in a substantive response, including when these outstanding issues will actually be corrected. I will update this review if and when management provides a concrete resolution and completes the necessary work.

I repeat: we pay for and are refused proof of delivery of a service. Don't get much delivery on anything-get in late at night and key fob's not working? Hope it's not winter. Need something fixed? Hah. Amenities promised don't exist. No package room that delivery people can access. No coffee bar. No cyber Lounge. I've attached photos of these advertised on the website, date-stamped for today. Gym is not maintained. I've had 10% of my packages stolen, one of which was an $800 non-refundable item. There was a delivery photo but management said WC's camera wasn't working when it was stolen. There are no working cameras anywhere but the lobby to protect Windsor's interests. We pay for that. We also pay for gated parking and they just leave the gates open now because they never work. The halls are FILTHY. There's constantly dog poop and pee and loose trash everywhere. Once there was huge ball of human hair outside my door for an entire week. Another time there was gallon sized ziploc with orange grease inside it. I didn't pick either of these up until I had to because I had guests coming over. I wanted to see how many times trash valet would walk by and do nothing. There is currently a large piece of broken porcelain on the staircase of building one that's been there for over a week. The fire alarm goes off incessantly because people are constantly smoking. We get ceaseless emails about that, the dogs, and not driving out of the Franklin exit. They'd rather auto-spam their residents on a daily basis than put up a simple one-way barrier gate. It would be pennies to a huge company like Windsor. It'd cost less than a month of rent for one of the studios in this complex alone. These daily emails are tantamount to harassment. If an individual contacted me that frequently unsolicitedly and I couldn't block them- we can't b/c important communications come from the same email- I'd get a cyberstalking restraining order. Run away.

Right before my move out Sonia took the time to help me locate a package that was placed in the wrong locker- they go above and beyond to answer emails back promptly- always warm, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. I lived on 6th floor, very quiet with respectable neighbors who were considerate and never had any issues with noise or whatnot. The halls are kept clean I have never once seen any pests in my apartment nor in the hallways and common areas. Upgrades are continuously done to maintain the beauty of the property and at minimal inconvenience to residents. The property is beautifully maintained and leasing is very responsive with communication. I always felt safe coming home since I work so much and only at night and never felt like my community had questionable residents around doing anything shady. They organized a lot of community events and food trucks for residents to socialize which was nice even though I didn't make it to many. Amenities stayed clean and well maintained. Overall it's not a horrible experience, but I do wish it was a little better. also, when I first moved were many empty units and different management so that probably affects my experience. pro: coffee shop in lobby, many shops and restaurants in neighborhood, common areas are well kept, generally quiet. Overall convenient location. they usually fix things that are broken within a timely manner although I've had one bad experience that ended up costing me time and money. It's evident that the property has undergone new management recently (pros and cons) but one perk was that they continued hosting nice community events and new community events. cons: the parking deck. horrible. Build way too small. i am almost always nervous driving into it because it is 1. Physically too small for two cars to safely turn the corner and 2. People don't keep that in mind when turning corners. the complex has since installed speed bumps and some mirrors which help a little. The truth is that there is no permanent soultion to this problem. Which is a shame. It is also too small to hold enough cars. It is built as though there are 1.25 cars per unit. very unrealistic. also when I moved in there was no fee for parking or for guest parking. after I moved it there was a $25 fee per car. has since went up to $35 per car. and $50/month to reserve a parking spot due to the shortage of spaces. The units are nice but small. Very little closet space. and storage is offered on basement level (for fee) to compensate for this.
