Michael dispatched and David Brought up the vehicle. And upon our return, Paulos received us and offered to put my windshield sun visor back up so that my vehicle would be less hit tomorrow when I check out. These men showed high levels of courtesy and demonstrated what I believe the Gaylord Rockies resort wants from all of their staff. That is the way you greet guests and take care of them. There are a couple restaurants walking distance nearby plus food delivery options. I'd stay again.

Once we arrived, they had no cars. On a last minute pivot from our first plans, we decided to just a hotel close to the airport and relax. Once we got to the airport, and with our previous let downs of the day, we were half expecting there to be no rooms even though we had reservation. To our pleasant surprise, we had no issues! We had explain to the front desk (two super lovely ladies) about our day and they met us with care and compassion, even offering us a snack. It was such a nice interaction, and upliftedthe day. In addition to this, we were able to check in a little early. The downstairs area has plenty of space to lounge. The room was clean and spacious, the area pretty quiet for being close to the airport. We ordered door dash from a restaurant down the street where we easily met our dasher in the lobby. They have a bistro and a little market with snack and drinks. They also have a free shuttle back to the airport. All in all, a lovely experience.

Wow, my yesterday's visit to this historic park was so mesmerizing. It's because of their annual…read more(?) "Bright Nights" (originally a lantern festival.) It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.

Also, they were reasonably priced. Heads up on a $15 parking fee. I've seen other hotels charge more. I stayed on the 2nd floor. Bed was comfy and it was relatively quiet. I liked the check-in from staff later. They wanted to be sure that check-in went smoothly and that I had everything I needed. I didn't have an opportunity to get breakfast before leaving. They start serving at 6:00 am. Overall, I was satisfied. It also helps that I'm biased being a Hilton Honors member. I would stay at this hotel again. I recommend considering them. Also, it's about a 10-minute or so shuttle bus ride from the hotel to the airport.

This location just wasn't very good. Mattress was hard and Internet not great. My room had a tiny Phillips brand TV and you had to turn it off and on a couple times to get a picture! Thermostat on the wall didn't work and I tried adjusting the temperature at the unit but was either too hot or too cold. I stayed two nights and only had a half role of toilet paper. No room service due to the short stay. Fitness center was at the far corner and didn't open until 6am. Won't be back
