(Newer owners) They offered to help when the vendors for Castlewood Event Center (Grange) absconded with our families down payments and left them high and dry! Seeing the story on channel 31 they called. Three Trees stepped in and did a FANTASTIC job with the wedding and also physically helped me with placing all the decor! The reception hall in the basement is also decorated beautifully on it's own and the tent they provided for dinner was so perfect! This is an amazing venue! Everything Gabrielle tells you, is the absolute truth. She does EXACTLY what she promises and without any hesitation. Unfortunately, out event was for a celebration of life for my youngest son. Even with all the profound sorrow, 3 Trees made it all a bit more bearable. I highly recommend this place and you will not be disappointed in Gabrielle or Bob; they are both a class act. Bob and Gabrielle were so amazing to work with. Gabrielle is incredibly organized and efficient with communication. She was always one step ahead with organizing our event and covering all of our bases. I was planning two weddings at once, which is stressful, and working with Gabrielle made the process so easy. The day of our wedding was completely stress-free as they did all the set up and clean up for us. We just had to show up and enjoy ourselves and I knew they had it all covered. This is a really pretty spot. The chapel is cute and the right size for a small to medium wedding. The surrounding area is pretty (I was there in the middle of winter, so I imagine it would be much better in the summer). My only problem with them was that the woman who opened up the chapel and did the ceremony was rather abrasive. Kind of seemed like she didn't want to be there. She also didn't seem to fond of the kids that were at the wedding (two of which were the daughters of the couple getting married). read more

I just got married at Three Trees Chapel last month and it was the perfect place for my wedding day! Sherri, the owner of the chapel and coordinator, was very helpful, competent, and a joy to work with. She took care of every detail with perfection and truly made my special day magical! From the beautifully decorated pews to the gorgeous tables in the wedding tent, everything was absolutely perfect. My husband and I booked Three Trees Chapel about seven months before the wedding. We did quite a bit of research before making an appointment to see the venues and decided that Three Trees would be the first place to check out. We made an appointment to tour the chapel and to meet Sherri. We discussed our budget and she helped us pick a package that was perfect for us. We loved that the table linens, pew decorations, cake, and DJ were all included in the price of the venue. This venue may be small but we had around 100 guests and everyone was comfortable. I believe as many as 150 guests can fit. The chapel itself and the location next to the foothills is what really sealed the deal for us. Without seeing any other venues, we booked that same day! We put a lot of faith into Three Trees because, when we saw it, it was the middle of winter and everything was dead and brown. Sherri reassured us that everything would be green and the flowers would be in full bloom. I can tell you, they definitely were! The lawn was neatly manicured and the wildflowers near the waterfall were beautiful. It was the perfect backdrop for pictures! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sherri. Her kind smile and eagerness to help us in any way was the icing on the cake! We even changed our mind about the choice of food a month before and she was very accommodating. Any questions that we had she was quick to respond and was extremely helpful every step of the way. The day before the wedding, we had our rehearsal brunch and Sherri did a great job explaining to everyone where they needed to be. I also dropped off my centerpieces, programs, bouquets, boutonnieres, unity cross, guest book, etc. that day. It was such a load off of me to have Sherri take complete control and ensure that everything would be in its place the next morning. The day of the wedding, my mom, bridal party, and I arrived early so I could get into my gown in the bridal suite (I had no idea how important a bridal suite was until I used it. Seriously, don't get a venue if it doesn't have one!) Every item that I brought the day before was exactly where it needed to be. (Dang, Sherri, it's like you've done this before!) The only thing I needed to focus on that day was me! How nice is that for a bride?! The ceremony and reception went smoothly and the food, cake, and music were amazing! Sherri and her staff made our wedding perfect from start to finish. It's an inclusive venue so Sherri takes care of the food (there are some good choices), the photographer, the flowers, decorations for the chapel and the reception area, and she recommended the officiate who was awesome. Rocco the DJ worked with us on our playlist and worked hard keeping the festivities going and he made sure to play the many special music requests. All we had to provide were the adult beverages, and Sherri and her staff served that to our guests. I would highly recommend Three Trees Chapel. read more

Given mine and my family's experience with Three Trees Chapel (lasting well over 6-months), I unfortunately am unable to provide an even slightly positive review/rating. Rather than rambling on about how poor and awful our experience was or describing at length the regular challenges we endured with Three Trees (Sherri is the Owner), I feel it is more constructive to share some major recommendations/points/perspectives (based on our experiences) for you, as the bride, groom, grandma of the groom, or whomever in search of a wedding vendor (or vendor for any celebratory event) to consider. 1) Three Trees is owned and operated by Sherri Gale; all communications must go through her. In our experience, she was very difficult to get in touch with (during regular business hours), by phone, email, or text (her return contact can take days or weeks, even with an executed and fully paid for contract). Near the beginning of our relationship with Three Trees, Sherri seemed caring, compassionate, and dedicated to providing exemplary services, however, it was not long before we found her to be unresponsive, greatly disorganized, and insensitive to say the very least. 2) Three Trees does have a website and social media but does not have an inclusive, comprehensive portfolio to review their work, nor to connect with former customers to discuss their experiences. It may be a struggle to visualize or have a solid idea of what your wedding/event may look like without full examples to reference. 3) The "Wedding Calculator" offered by Three Trees is a great tool, however, it may not be all inclusive of what the wedding/event may need (e.g., be aware of time allotments including that of the DJ, photographer, etc.). 4) If you request a contract for services, ensure you thoroughly review it for errors including spelling, grammar, vendor time allotments, services and costs, etc. In our experience, Three Trees' wedding/event contract was horrible and a poor reflection of the business at large. It appeared as if it were "thrown-together". Multiple revisions were necessary, with the final version still not sufficient; it is not a professional reflection of Three Trees, nor is it or protective and in the best interests of Three Trees or its clients. 5) Do not expect Three Trees to "guide" you through the process of preparing you for your wedding/event. Specifically, you will be responsible to connect with Three Trees about meeting with vendors (e.g., for cake, the DJ, etc.), for choosing event colors and décor, etc. Although Three Trees is marketed as "all-inclusive", Sherri's involvement is minimal (refer to formal points). There are no formal, concrete documents or timelines supplied by Three Trees for what to expect next, how to prepare, etc.; you must be proactive and assert your needs until they are met. The venue is beautiful and affordable. I would guess it is great if you are not using outside sources for food, flowers etc. Also best if you have NO children at the wedding. Family members bringing a wedding cake and flowers to the venue were treated rudely and did not feel at all welcome. They were expected to pay extra to get in early to decorate. The flowers and wedding cake were their gift to the bride and groom ! Read the contract closely. This venue is not kid friendly! Your deposit will be lost in short time! Sherri stood at the venue with arms crossed all evening. It was obvious to all guests she did not want to be there. Very uncomfortable ! read more

It literally went off without one single problem. Even though she was completely sidelined by an unfortunate injury, she made sure no detail was left unattended to. We heard so many comments from our guests that the chapel was absolutely perfect. We totally agree! The setting is wonderful, with great views of the foothills, quintessentially "Colorado". The baby grand piano was perfect for our music, and the decor was understated and elegant; beautiful hardwood floors and large windows. The reception downstairs afterwards was absolutely great; it was so convenient to just head downstairs where catered food was ready for us. Being from another state, we were unable to visit the chapel prior to our wedding but, Sherri made sure everything was perfect. She performed the ceremony with such sincerity and was so kind to our family. She allowed us ample time to dress, take pictures and talk even though we only purchased their elopement package. I am a wedding cupcake vendor who did favors for a bride who had booked her wedding here. This venue does all the catering in house and did allow the bride to use us for her favors. When I showed up to deliver and set up the favors as I had discussed with the bride I was greeted by Sherri who was off the bat very abrasive with me. She told me there was no room for me in the kitchen and when I told her I would be happy to set them up on a table she let me know they had decided against having them out on display. Since I had pre made all the boxes I had them in baskets and the cupcakes in a plastic bin. She said it would be most convenient for her if I could just leave my baskets and she would leave them on the side of the building for me to pick up later that night. It was pouring rain out and I had plans for the rest of my day so I asked her if I could pick them up another day. She seemed annoyed by that and told me she wouldn't be in Monday so it would have to be Tuesday. So I kindly agreed to leave the baskets even though my business is located out of Loveland so driving back was very out of my way to say the least. The cherry on top was picking up my baskets to find the handle broken off one of them and the envelope that I had asked her to leave with the bride was sitting right inside. Happy to say my interaction with this venue was short and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. No one should be treated with disrespect and as a bride myself I would never want any one treating my vendors like that. read more

Very displeased with the venue and more so the woman in charge, Sherri Gale! She does not care about your wedding, only about your money!!! For months after we booked she would not return emails, phone calls, or meet with us! She made the months leading up to my wedding horrible! She made herself available only the week prior and was surprised we didn't meet with the baker yet to do our cake! How would we?!?! She never gave us the information!!! She is awful and is in the wrong profession! She will lie to you about everything! You get nickel and dimed on everything! It might seem like a good deal but she makes sure she charges you for everything down to bringing your own ice because they are not responsible for keeping your drinks cold! I cried almost daily leading up to my wedding! And the day of they make sure and keep it at about 85 degrees in the chapel to the point that our guests were complaining! It was horrible! And after all that, she keeps lying to us about when she is mailing our security deposit. She said just about every day last week and still nothing. Last we heard it went out on Thursday and today is Monday and still no check! Thanks for ruining our wedding Sherri! read more
