They value the time and money of potential residents much higher than that of current residents no matter how long you've lived there. I was walked in on while asleep and half clothed by maintenance men not once but TWICE without them knocking. This is about as close as you can get to being in an HOA without ever having signed up to be in one. They are strict and often passive aggressive including but not limited to threatening to drain the pools if residents can not "cooperate" with their rules. Children are not allowed in pool areas even with adults. I also frequently had to keep my thermostat around 75 degrees to keep my apartment above a hoodie temp. due to poor insulation. Beware.

I didn't leave the place in perfect shape but as someone with family in construction and renovation I guarantee you it was NOT worth that much. What the hell is the point of a deposit at that point? Sure it has a lot of nice reviews but interesting that they're all from 8 years ago, around the time the place was nearly done being built. Likely a promotion ran where they gave some perk to people leaving nice reviews. They're nice at first but the moment you're in there it literally feels like you cannot LIVE there. You have passive aggressive management sending rude letters and emails- to the point now where any notice from a landlord sends my anxiety up the roof, even to this day when I live in a HOUSE now. Management, don't even bother responding to this because I'm not reading your responses. I don't trust you enough to give you my real name, because knowing you, you'd be awful. At this point, I don't trust you to actually be genuine in anything you say. Everything is a nice platitude to get the next lease in your roster so you can rip someone else off.

Countryside Corporate Apartments - Living Room

My family and I were really lucky to find Countryside Apartments. We stayed for two weeks in one…read moreof their 2-bedroom apartments, and it was perfect. A much better option than all of us cramming into a single hotel room - which is what we did for several days before we found Countryside. Once we moved in, I couldn't believe the amount of space we had - the kids in their own room, a separate living room to hang out in, plus our apartment had a nice deck / back porch with a table and chairs as well. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, pots & pans, full-sized fridge, oven, etc. so we were able to buy groceries and actually cook some meals at home, rather than existing on take-out everyday. One downside compared to staying at a hotel, is that there was not a free continental breakfast, or anything like that, but again, having a full kitchen where we could easily prep a hot breakfast more than made up for that. A few more notes about the property: there are a bunch of amenities, which really helped to keep the kids entertained. There is a huge yard in between the two buildings, where my kids played football and soccer (they borrowed the soccer ball from the Countryside staff). At one end of the property, there is also a nice wooden playground structure (swings, monkey bars, slide, etc) - which my kids explored a little, but would be perfect for younger children. There is also a nice walking path that circles the entire property, and goes through some really pretty woods that surround the grounds. Indoors, there is a huge game room with free-to-play pool / billiards (2 tables), ping pong, foosball, and air hockey. There is also a roomy and nicely-outfitted exercise room, which we could all comfortably use at the same time. Because it was fall when we were there, we didn't use the swimming pool at all, but it looked nice, and is probably great to have if you stay in the summer! On top of all the great features of Countryside Apartments, I also want to commend the wonderful friendly staff. I mainly worked with Connie, who went above and beyond to help us get moved in after normal business hours, always responded quickly to our requests or questions, and was just a generally nice person - very pleasant to work with! I met two other men in the front office as well, but didn't see them as often, so I don't remember their names, but they were also both very helpful - and as I mentioned above, they loaned a soccerball to my kids for them to kick around in the yard.

I have truly loved living here and looked forward to coming home to my apartment everyday after work. There are three separate blocks of apartments each with their own COMMUNITY ROOMS offering different things. I find these rooms to be a huge perk. You can relax and study, enjoy cable tv, or shoot pool with friends. The outdoor community area is my favorite and offers comfortable lounge seating, tables with umbrellas for shade, a fire pit, and gas grills. I would love to see the community rooms grow with board game options! The BIKE PATH lines the back road of the apartments offering great access to other areas of town with minimal traffic. Underground PARKING is available for an additional charge- be sure to let them know if you work at the hospital for a parking discount. There is ample outdoor parking for guests or if you choose to not pursue underground parking. The main GYM includes 4 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, stationary bike, free weights, towels, water, and some type of cable weights? There is a much much smaller gym that I believe only has a treadmill and some free weights (not positive). I wish I could pick this apartment up and move it across the country with me. Who can complain about living directly across from Hilldale Mall and aka target? Whole Foods is also just down the road.
