If you like paying high price for a low income place, this is perfect. The smell of dog urine the moment you open the door to the building, especially mind and nose numbing in hot temperatures or getting high from the smell of weed in the parking lot, great experience. Don't forget all their "technical payment online issues" that double your rent to $4500, then charge a late fee because of it, budget accordingly. That deposit you just saved for a place to live, make your check out to "Cash" because you'll never see it again. They keep it no matter what. I rate this right up there with Allied Drive, except they rob you through your bank account. Buy a home. Don't rent from these crooks!! read more

Pros: from the outside it looks like a nice apartment with decent amenities. Cons: FAR too long for me to list I lived at the Vue for a year and honestly, the more I hoped maybe they would start improving, the more disappointed I got. Staff are very nice/friendly, but most of the time don't even bother doing their jobs. Whenever I called/emailed I received no response, I had to go in person to even get an answer. Normally, I would avoid dealing with the leasing office all together if they are unpleasant, but when absurd things happen is makes it impossible (twice someone defecated in the public hallway and I had to call multiple times to get facilities to do anything about it). If that sounds insane, its because it is lol Many neighbors are nice and kind, but the low rental restrictions and security deposit make for some dicey scenarios, including overhearing a man at the pool shout at hispanic teens "Hey- how come all of you wear tshirts in the pool? Is that a Mexican thing?". A little taste of what the undesirable neighbors are like. If they put even the tiniest amount of effort to actually the run the place, it could be a great place to live. I haven't lived in an apartment for about 30 years and my past experiences weren't great...poor management, poor maintenance, etc. Weidner management and maintenance is exactly the opposite. My building is pretty quiet and I'm on the top floor. Many dogs live here and you'd never know if, except to see them out and about. Both dogs and owners are friendly and courteous. Doggie poop bags are throughout the property and a dog park is across the street. All in all, I am very happy to be living here. read more

This place may be a wonderful looking, clean place that allows dogs with fiber internet, a pool, and a gym, but those are the only pros I can list about this apartment complex after living there for a year. Unfortunately, my con list is much, much, much, longer. I thought I should put out some of the situations my husband and I went through because everyone deserves to know (please dismiss anything that may come across as rude, I have had a year of experiences that has jaded me against this property management). First off, when touring we were told there was plenty of parking available to residents. That is wrong, more often than not we had to park on the street or a couple buildings down from ours--and we weren't the only ones. Second, within the first few months our fridge was not working properly and our furnace worked on an off in the winter season. We informed management, but you could tell that was not a priority to them. It got so excessive that we were making phone calls and sending emails left and right and finally it got fixed, but the entire time management did not apologize for the fact that most of our food had to be thrown out and we were in our winter jackets in our apartment week after week. Third, we reserved the common room for a get together with family and friends. We were told to come the day of the reservation at 8 AM to pick up the keys and go over things. We went to get the keys at 8 AM day of and they told us that the room was still dirty from the night before and that it would possibly be available in the afternoon. We had that reserved a month or more in advance. Then, when they told us the room was available, they still stored food and drink in the fridge when we needed that space. We paid to have that space for a whole day, no apology. And when you thought is couldn't get any worse, they screwed us over after we were moved out. They took our entire security deposit of $300 along with the $100 credit we had on our account prior to moving out. They did not inform us of this until we got the invoice/ refund of $20 in the mail a few months after our lease ended. We got $20 dollars back, of our own $100 and nothing from our security deposit. Communication would have been nice--how hard was it to pick up the phone or write an email to let us know? read more

The Vue as a building is nice, very modern with all the amenities you could need. The staff was also great until I needed assistance. I bought a home and attempted to sublet my unit. Actually subletting my unit was a nightmare. I had 4 different applicants attempt to take over my lease... some gave up because the management team was slow and inconsistent, and others didn't get accepted due to income despite making more than twice the rent. The staff was never on the same page and I'd hear a different answer from every person I talked to. They cashed checks earlier than they said they would and refused to fix their mistakes. I paid them 500 dollars to rent out my apartment, which they didn't do, I did. They then refunded the new renter this 500 dollars, instead of me. While the unit was still rented out to me but was not occupied (because I was in my new house) they came in and turned up the heat to 75 degrees (24 hrs/day for a month) which ran my MG&E bill way up. With all these frustrations they were no where near empathetic, apologetic, or will to work with me. On a side note, someone puked in the hallway one day and I called to get it cleaned. They sent someone over 36 hours later so the apartment smelled awful for a while. I rented the community room (for a 100 dollar fee) for a large family Christmas celebration and they forgot to leave me the keys in my mailbox like they said they would. Staff had off over the holidays so I couldn't get a hold of anyone to get these keys. I eventually got in just in time thanks to an emergency maintence man coming in from out of the city. My dishwasher wasn't working so I called for a repair. The repairman came, did some work and left, but the dishwasher was not fixed. I had to call again. This happened 3-4 times before it was finally completed. Smoking outside is allowed. In the summer time cigarette butts are thrown on the paths and grass areas and accumalate. Not only does it look trashy, but my dog would get them so I had to carry him until I was far enough away from the building. While the amenities are great, they are extremely crowded during the hours I would've enjoyed to use them most. You will be lucky if you get a treadmill to use or lawn chair to lay out on during peak times. One underground parking spot is included wth the unit, but if there are multiple cars to one unit don't expect to get surface level parking, you will for sure be parking on the street many nights as the lot fills fast. I can say that I appreciated how dog friendly they were. For sure the best thing they have to offer... I will never recommend The Vue to anyone, or fiduciary management at that as they contributed to my awful experience. read more

It should be less than one star there are plenty of other apartments I would tell you to go see than this one. Management is not great the buildings are not great things break down all the time in them they're very loud inside and out. The prices are high and when you go to move out which I was there for 2 years they don't even go through the apartment with you so that way they can make up stuff and take your security deposit away. The only good thing about it is the location and they take pets but that's it away the amenities are good too except the clubhouse I couldn't tell you about that because for the two years I lived there it was always locked up so I'm not sure who that clubhouses for. read more

Property and apartments are nice and worth the value. The leasing office outright lied to me on several occasions. The latest being taking over 60 days to get my deposit back. My apartment was right next to onsite gym and they refused to address. Eventually had to break lease at cost and inconvenience to me. read more

I moved in 3 months ago and so far, it has been good experience. I live in a two bedroom with my roommate and I like the fact that our bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment. Some of the staff is newer but they have still followed up with communication when I come to the office. I didn't have internet set up right away but I able to use the clubroom during that time, which is very convenient. So far a good experience. read more

The Vue is a great apartment complex! I am very satisfied since moving her last July. The pet friendly-ness of the complex is a huge bonus! Providing dog waste and washing stations in every building is a blessing! Additionally the amenities of the pool, grills, and fire pit are incredible. I have met many of the other young adults in the area down at the pool. The apartment itself offers large kitchen cupboards and appliances. I love the size of the bedroom and the walk-in closet is huge! The staff at the Vue are always welcoming to residents. They really want to make sure that you're satisfied. read more

The apartments are nice, but this is offset both by their overly expensive rent and by the complete and utter incompetence of the staff. The only person here I trusted to get things right was the guy who worked weekends, and unfortunately they didn't bother to train him in the more complicated stuff. I've been living at the VUE for 3+ years, and this will be my last. If you are thinking about moving here I would recommend you reconsider. The rent is very expensive for what you get. Sure, some of the amenities are nice, the apartments themselves are also pretty nice, but don't let some of the aesthetics draw you in. The staff has really gone down hill at The VUE. If the leasing office receives a package for you I just hope you check tracking, because they will not let you know. What's worse, is sometimes you'll go down there and they have no idea what you're talking about, only to find out they 'misplaced' it somewhere in the small leasing office. The landscaping isn't that well kept up, there are so many patches of dead grass that haven't ever been dealt with. read more

Where to begin.... At first when I moved in at The Vue I was excited and happy with my decision. However, after just a few interactions with the leasing office staff I grew to regret my decision. The rate of turnover of the staff is CRAZY. In the first two to three months I lived there it felt like every time I went to the office it was filled with new employees. Only one of the three/four people I interacted with at the time of my lease signing is still an employee. Because of this I rarely felt my issues and concerns were being dealt with in a proper manner. There is also a huge lack of communication between the leasing office employees, both between themselves and with the residents. A few examples, my lease contained incorrect information about my earnest deposit and security deposit but was signed by the staff in the office as correct. A number of addendums that were meant to be applied to my lease were never addressed, and I was later accused of not providing proper paperwork, which I had done and had a record to show them I had provided it. As a result, they put a few months' worth of these fees on my rent at one time and expected I pay it all in the next rental payment, this was over $500 on top of my rent and if I did not pay it I would be issued a notice of eviction. I was given incorrect information about policies including pets and package deliveries. On one occasion a balance due was added to my account for $140 and all it stated was "starting balance", they expected me to pay this and it was only removed when I questioned what the charge was for and only after I brought it to their attention that it was a false charge was it removed. The first time I called the office to investigate it, the person on staff said he could not help me with any rent or billing questions because "he was just a leasing agent", but he was the only person in the office that day. I never received an explanation as to why/how it had been added in the first place. I had some maintenance done on my kitchen, when I moved in the counter tops were not secure, and while they did fix it in a timely manner, they left sawdust all over my floors and had moved some of my furniture and did not replace it when they were finished. The walls are so thin; I can hear every single person that lives around me. I can hear when the people above me shower, flush the toilet, walk, etc. I can hear the front door buzzer ring in the foyer from my first floor apartment!! I can hear the elevator from inside my apartment!! Although they have a policy of no smoking on the balconies it is not enforced, and during warm months if I have my balcony screen door open I can always smell my neighbors smoking on their balcony. Yes, the apartments are pretty and spacious and allow pets, but I would never suggest this property to a person seeking a new living situation. I have had more stressful encounters with property management and employees than I can count. I only rented for a one-year lease and cannot wait to leave. Save yourself some stress and money and don't rent at The Vue. read more

I don't know where to start.. I have had a bad experience with this apartments. The management is horrible the price of this apartments are very high for so little, things tent to break all the time!. They also CHARGE FOR "SERVICE FEES"! that KNOW ONE told you about or mention when renewing you contract. I now REGRET staying here another year I can't wait to actually MOVE OUT! this place and the people are horrible.... I currently live here and I recommend to look for other places then here. Don't throw your money way to this people. There are BETTER APARTMENTS trust me. the only good things are their amities but you can barely use them the pool was always packed of PEOPLE THAT DIDN'T LIVE there. the club room was always locked and the gym didn't have much... The apartments are AWFUL you can hear everything outside and inside not good walls. I am afraid of the deposit because they can make up stuff as they wish and charge for things that are not damage..... I am very, very, excited to move out of this JUNK! read more
