Right on US 101, walking distance to everything in downtown Waldport. Good value for the money. Main downsides were the extra early checkout (10 am) and toilet tissue that was indeed tissue thin. No elevator so if you're on the second floor you will have to climb stairs. read more

Upon check-in, the front desk attendant was notably welcoming and offered valuable restaurant recommendations that enriched our stay. Our room was tastefully adorned and impeccably clean, contributing to a pleasant overall ambiance. The bed, with its medium-firmness, provided a comfortable night's sleep. The presence of ample parking spaces, including a carport equipped with several EV chargers, is a commendable feature for eco-conscious travelers. The Inn's prime location, situated directly on Highway 101 in town, is undeniably a major asset, although you can hear the highway traffic at night, even though the posted speed is 25mph. The Inn's proximity to cafes, restaurants, shops, and the beach makes it a convenient and enjoyable destination. However, to elevate this already commendable experience, I would recommend the implementation of a continental breakfast or, at the very least, an upgrade in the quality of in-room coffee offerings. Regrettably, the reason I cannot grant a perfect 5-star rating lies in the remarkably thin walls separating rooms. This acoustic deficiency led to an intrusive level of noise transfer, where every sound from neighboring rooms felt as if it were transpiring within our own space. Conversations, sneezing, restroom use, and TV watching from adjacent rooms were all too audible, greatly hindering our ability to unwind and relax. It was evident that if we could hear our neighbors so clearly, they were also privy to our activities. I wholeheartedly recommend that the Inn prioritize soundproofing enhancements as an urgent measure to address this issue. Unfortunately, it is this single, significant drawback that dissuades us from considering a return stay. In summary, the Waldport Inn offers many commendable attributes, including friendly service, well-appointed rooms, and an enviable location. However, until the issue of soundproofing is resolved, we regrettably won't be returning guests. read more

I'm between 3 and 4 stars. I'm making it 4 because the place is CLEAN and the staff is amazing!!! The noise is a lot tho. Between the road traffic and the thin walls, I just don't know if I'd stay again. I can hear full on conversations in the room next to me and even heard the couple having an adult/intimate experience. Gross. I don't wanna hear that. They have done some nice upgrades and updates but next they should invest in some sound proofing. read more

Nice looking motel keeps busy right along Highway 101 highway noise 24/7 speed limit is 25mph however due to lack of enforcement cars constantly speed 40-50mph And the Very Worst Speeder works for this place !! Summer the employee Does daily Wheelies on his motorcycle right thru town pipes blaring high speeds. In Winter he Daily Races his Blue Mustang at High Speeds thru town and In and out of Motel ! This is one of the more impressive 2-star hotels I have stayed in. The sink has marble countertops with a tile backsplash, there is a ceiling fan, gorgeous, clean white sheets, and tasteful artwork on the walls. The space is inviting and you can tell they've truly put effort into keeping it updated. It is incredibly clean and they also provide ear plugs and complimentary candies. I brought my dog and they made up a whole box of goodies for her including treats, doggie bags, beach towels, blankets and sheets. There is also a mini fridge. The front desk employees are kind and accommodating. Overall this place is a great value and nestled conveniently between Newport, Seal Rock, and Yachats. read more

This place was incredibly clean, the staff was helpful and the rooms were cozy. It doesn't look like much from the outside but you can tell they go out of their way for customers. Additionally they have covered Tesla charging which is a plus. A light breakfast is included. You don't find hotels like this very often on the coast at such an affordable price. read more

I have stayed here 5 times, three times with my fiancé and twice alone. The rooms are nice and clean and but the walls are thin and you can hear a lot. I heard people yelling all night long worst night of sleep I ever got.I Also when I was adventuring alone my room was not clean. There was hair on the bed and pillows. The third time was better and a bit cleaner then the last time. (Update May 6th, 2022 - I stayed alone, probably the second worst night of sleep I got, I heard people walking, jumping, possibly other things until 4am. It was NOT a good experience. I chose this place to spend the night on the coast with my wife to celebrate our belated 5th wedding anniversary. It was tough to find a reasonably priced place to stay during spring break, so, I chose this place. We got a room here for a little over $100 which is pretty reasonable in that time of year. Its location works. Several types of restaurants, a liquor store, convenient store, and gas all within a block of each other, if need anything to indulge in. The place is small, the rooms are somewhat small but they are really clean and have a nice cozy feeling with a light "woodsy" ambiance inside along with clean hardwood floors and nice furniture. Granted, this isn't the spot to stay if you are looking for a bedside view overlooking the coastline (because it down't have one) but...who cares? One can get in their car and drive to nearby Newport and/or Yachats to catch some nice views along the paths and get a bite to eat during that time. The customer service and staff has been very nice, attentive. They do offer a complimentary breakfast every morning as much as complimentary breakfasts go. Nothing special but nice that they offer! Will come here again if an opportunity presented itself. read more

Newly remodeled and very nice. We were on a long motorcycle trip to the western states and stayed here to see some family. Great place, very clean and very nice. They even have a garage if you'd like to park out of the weather. I parked the motorcycle in the garage in case it rained. I was very impressed with this place and it exceeded my expectations. This place does not even deserve a one star rating. Recent stay was not except-able!. Shower water from upstairs shower ended up in out ground floor bath tub, including soapy water and pipe debris. Disgusting! No response from emergency number. Bookings.com communicated with management on our behalf and they offered a complimentary stay. What would we risk another bad experience!!! read more

Most traffic noise I've ever experienced at a hotel. On top of that, as we loaded into our room, there is a homeless? man with a beer and a cell ph walking around the premises. During night, we heard a dog whining and a loud male voice in room next to ours and we woke to same (along w traffic-freeways sounds) along w sounds of 4 men talking in driveway area 15 feet from our room. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. All the staff were so kind and helpful. There were so many small conveniences in the room from earplugs to mints to multiple styles of pillows to ensure a good fit for everyone! It is right in town close to anything you could need and we were able to go crabbing nearby but return to a warm and comfortable haven. There is a small but delicious breakfast in the mornings. After running away from the OTHER pet friendly hotel we were pleasantly surprised how beautiful and clean the Waldport Inn was. I wish we had stayed here the entire weekend. Beautiful perfect small room, cozy bed and pillows. Modern, new and clean decor with nice hardwood floors. Has a bathroom window with heat lamps, spotless clean bathroom and thick, soft white towels. The adjustable speed ceiling fan is a nice touch for circulating fresh air in from the window. (No central air unit). The extra fold up table was in a brilliant location for our stuff. They provide ear plugs, ocean tide table booklet and even little mints. But what really made me delighted was our dog found the "pet hamper" with a fleece blanket, sheet, towel and two biscuits for her. We got a pretty good night sleep but could hear our loud neighbors all night and the traffic from the road. Apparently there is a dog potty area close by. Would definitely stay here again because it's the little things that matter, and they checked off all the boxes. read more

Really nice place. I'm traveling to Washington from Southern Nevada and have tried to stay in inexpensive motels that are pet friendly. This is probably the nicest one I've found. Modern with very good amenities. They even had doggy biscuits, a small blanket, poop bag, and towel for the beach dog ready in my room with his own laundry basket. Now that's what I call pet friendly. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I also want to compliment Ne Ne. The wonderful confident and charming black woman working the desk. My wife and I stayed here on a Saturday night based on a recommendation from another hotel that was full. What we didn't know and isn't reflected in any of the reviews is that this inn is right next to a local bar with live music. They band played until 12:30am. We were warned that there was no view. We were not warned that there would be live, loud music till all hours. We complained the next morning and were told that we should expect a certain amount of noise when staying at a hotel. Perhaps live music, heard loudly from your hotel room is desirable. If so, this is the place for you. read more

Head's up- not air conditioned, but in mid-August, we didn't need it. Traveling with a friend, I asked for a suite. Perfect for us. Husband and I took the larger room and friend had the smaller. The room could accommodate a king bed, but it (like every other mom and pop we stayed in) had a queen in both rooms. The room has been remodeled quite nicely. Everything is fresh and quite clean. I am not a fan of continental "breakfast" but indulged in a poppyseed muffin. It was huge and delicious, perfect with the tasty coffee. I would totally stay here again. read more

Don't assume you'll have a room when you arrive if you make a reservation! I reserved a room 3 weeks in advance, so that we could attend a wedding in Yachats without having to drive nearly 2 hours back home afterwards. While I was at the wedding, with my phone silenced and poor reception anyway, they tried to call me around 6:30, and again around 7:15. When they called the second time, they left a message saying that they close at 9, and I needed to call them, especially if I'd be arriving after 9. I didn't see these messages until about 8:30 and I immediately borrowed a working phone to call them back. When I called, they said they had tried to run my card and it had been declined. I asked them to run it again, as there must certainly have been a mistake, because I knew there was significantly more money in the account than was needed to cover the room. At that point, I was told they'd given my room away and there were no other rooms available. Unbelievable! read more

The rooms are nice and clean. The continental breakfast was muffins, fruit and coffee/tea. There were a few donuts and cocoa for the kids. Juice and milk would have been nice. 4 stars due to the noise from the road and no air conditioner. We slept with the window open but were woken up several times by trucks passing by. read more

We came from NY and passing through town , We almost drove right by the motel because of signage. We turned around and found a newly remodeled establishment. The owner was very friendly and down to earth. Nice quality continental breakfast and good wi-fi. There's not a lot to do in Waldport, but I'd stay here again any day.
