I've taken his ti several different kennels in the past and he has never had such a proudly joyful reaction before. And this is consistent. As the owner, I am always pleased to see it so spotlessly clean and am thankful for how flexible they are willing to be to work with my scheduling needs. But beyond all else, I feel extremely comfortable knowing the dogs are well cared for, well exercised, socialized and safe. They don't gouge you by demanding more money for walks and playtimes like other kennels. I respect that they firmly believe in the care they give and that they give the best to 100% of the dogs they are entrusted with, so that all dogs get equal and extensive playtime everyday, regardless of how much money you have in your wallet. This is by far the best place you can take your dog and after discovering it I truly wouldn't take mine anywhere else!

But I tell you, that is GREAT business!! I highly recommend Petailz because: A) I LOVED that she came to my house! Wow yes she comes to your house! Hee hee.. I'm still excited about it. It is much easier than taking the dogs into the car and bringing them to the groomer and them sitting in a crate, sometimes all day, before it's their turn! B) The van was clean! Clean clean clean! I have been to many groomers and their place looked dirty! Not this one. This van was so clean! When you get your groomed puppy or dog back, they smell fresh and clean, not perfume!!..But clean smell. :) And if your dog ever gets sprayed by a skunk, they can get the smell out...no more bathing them in tomatoes! C) The woman who groomed my dogs, Janet, was friendly, professional, very courteous, very patient and helped me so much by fitting me in! I had to send puppies by plane late that night, so it was very necessary to get fit in at the last minute. I thought about washing them myself, as I had done the week before, but I had such a bad headache all day today and the thought of washing and blowdrying 7 dogs!!!...made me nauseous with my headache. I am very upset with the result and will never go back there again. There was no regard for my preferences or wishes. I specifically asked the groomer, Chrystal, tto cut just half an inch on her back, tail and ears, and she agreed to my request. My dog is a havanese double coated dog. When I picked up my dog she was hidden from me and the receptionist insisted that I pay prior to seeing her. My dog was then presented to me totally shaved, almost to the bare skin, and with nicks on both her ears and on her back. I was shocked and appalled to see when my dog was shaved without my consent, awareness or prior discussion of even the possibility of the dog being shaved (to the skin) for any reason. If this was divulged or discussed with me prior to leaving the dog with this establishment (Bark Avenue Pet Spa) I would have just left with my dog. The groomer did a terrible job and I am extremely upset as this was the opposite of what I requested. The groomer shaved my dog to the skin without my knowledge or consent, and shaving a double-coated breed can really ruin the coat. I am extremely upset. Research other groomers, I regret using this place. If you decide to take a chance with them at least insist to get and obtain your dog in your possession before you pay.
