As they state, they've "...explored every corner of the state to bring you the best of South Carolina," and from what I've seen they have done that and then some. It's a really big store and has most everything one can think of that would be South Carolina related and most of the goods are of superior quality, not just cheap Chinese built trinkets. But the best part is the selection. They have everything from jewelry to clothing to home decorator items and the staff is more than willing to assist. It's really one of the better shops I've seen within or a part of any public museum.

The items in the store run the gamut from jewelry all the way to upholstered furniture. I love the mix of textures in the shop. It's easy to feel intimidated in a place like this, but several staff members asked if they could help us. While we ultimately didn't find what we needed here, I have no doubt that next time we are searching for something that MACK will be on our list of places to stop! My sister showed us a link on Facebook to Palmetto Farmhouse and the tables looked awesome. I met with the owners to see what they had to offer and they quickly showed me multiple options that were all amazing works of art. The only problem I had now was there were too many great options to choose from. After making my choice, the process for making my custom table was explained to me, in detail, and Palmetto Farmhouse delivered on their promises just as they suggested they would. After meeting every expectation we had, on the day they contacted us to tell me it was ready, they were willing to deliver the table and set it up inside my home, the same day, for a reasonable delivery fee. Although my family has always eaten dinner together, we normally did not sit at the dinning room table. Since placing our order, we have repeatedly attempted to contact the company through email, phone calls, and the chat feature on their website. Despite our numerous attempts, we have not received a single response or update regarding our order. We understand that shipping delays can occur; however, a complete lack of communication for over four months is unacceptable. Customers deserve transparency, responsiveness, and basic customer service. Due to the company's failure to communicate or resolve this matter, we are taking the following actions: Filing complaints with the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs and the South Carolina Attorney General's Office. Filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Contacting our credit card companies to dispute the charges. Consulting with our attorney regarding our available legal options. We are sharing our experience so that other consumers can make informed decisions before purchasing from Copper Barn.
