Bait and switch by definition. Very terrible experience today and I've been a loyal customer for months. I use their wash and fold service for my comforters because they are too fluffy for my washer at home. Every time I go the price is $20. I dropped my comforter off and tried to pay the $20, but their machine wouldn't accept my card / the attendant didn't want to type it in and told me to pay for it when I come back instead. When I come back they have doubled the price!!! She tells me this is the new policy because of load minimums. My receipt attached to my comforter still has the $20 total sale on it. Her and her manager refuse to honor the price even though I could have just paid when I dropped it off. They should have been transparent when I dropped it off if there was a price increase. This is very poor and unethical service. read more

My biggest complaint about The Wash Clinic is that I didn't find it sooner! Stayed the winter of '22-'23 here in Scottsdale. The park I'm staying at has sub par washers that require quarters. I eventually had to find an alternative. Everytime I've been in there, the staff has been diligently working on the full service laundry they offer! I am SO impressed with the number of machines they have, and the size variances! I haven't been able to get my king comforter this clean in years! I'm always in and out in under an hour--and to me that's incredible! 10/10 recommend! read more

What's with the odd pricing? Everything ends in 17 cents. Dryers are an odd number, for 17 minutes. 20 minutes is the norm. Luckily I had a small load so my clothes dried, but I would've been pissed to have to pay for 17 more minutes when I only needed 3 more. I Started coming here since, well, before they opened. I was able to meet all the managers and staff. Everyone I have dealt with has been super positive. Enough about originally meeting the staff. So I have used the laundry service on my own, it's a bit difficult but they walk you through the process so it becomes seamless. However I hate doing laundry and more specifically folding laundry. ***Solution Solved**** Wash and fold, Omg they do a great job at a great rate. Much better than any other place I've been. No extra charges plus they shoot you an quick text when it's done. I think her name is Mercedes but she is great with everything. They have done this 4 times now and I have yet to be disappointed! just moved to the area. Started off using the fluff n fold service. A bit pricey, but the two females were awesome. I did my own laundry two weeks ago, when one of their washers broke mid wash cycle. Leah switched the laundry over to a new washer no problem. After drying that last load of laundry (whites/ sheets) , during the folding, I noticed black spotted stains on the items that were in the broken washer. Leah told us to come back at 10pm at night and the manager Steve. When I came back, at first he tried to say that my clothes were stained before I came in. I explained that the sheets and the shorts and dress shirts couldn't possible have the same exact stain all over them, being different kinds of fabric and used for different things. Leah told him that the washer broke and that whole process, so he asked if we would leave the stained items there so he can see if they were able to remove the stains. I did so. Came back the next day to pick them up. He said the stains wouldn't come out and to call and leave a message for the owner for reimbursement. In a two week span o have called and left four messages without a single returned phone call. Worst customer service ever, and now use a different laundromat around the corner. Cheaper prices, machines work just as good, and better customer service. If you like your clothes and don't want stains and to be ignored, so NOT go here. read more

Today I had to take some large items to the laundermat. The spin doctor is a relatively new business that has just opened up unlike any laundry I have ever been into. This laundromat is absolutely beautiful it is clean and has all new equipment. They have staff on duty whenever they are open and I felt safe and secure there. They have added many areas but they are not open at this time due to COVID-19 such as a lounge area a coffee area and a kids play area. I highly recommend and have attached a few pictures so you could see what I am talking about. read more

Traveling and needed a laundromat to clean clothes. This business was recommended by the rv park we are at. Service / help by staff was good. My issue is what it cost to do laundry and how the money is used. First you have to buy a debit card as you're charged a $1 for getting one. But, you can get the $1 back by inputting some personal info. Fair enough. So, I had two loads of laundry: one in an 18# washer and the other in a 35# washer. I had initially put $12 on the card. After starting the two loads and checking the balance in the card, I added $2 more when I was finished drying and done, I realized it had cost me $13.59 to wash and dry two loads. The 42 cents L'll never see again. I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out how it cost this much. read more

Great facilities, very clean- only issue is once I had erroneously started a machine by accident without my laundry and I politely asked for a refund- to which I was refused. Staff referenced the small info placard on the machine. Also, the cards deplete to a non-zero amount since the machines charge as non-integers- meaning the location recoups these amounts leftover on cards after a certain time. This is all sort of frustrating since per load this is the highest rate you'll pay in the area- stingy business practices and not much customer loyalty. read more

I live in a neighboring state, but was visiting an elderly relative when I decided to buy him all new bed and bath linens. Was I ever blown away by my visit to the Spin Doctor!!! This is the cleanest laundromat I've ever visited!! So many machines of varying sizes allowed me to wash and dry everything in a little over an hour. Purchasing a laundry card was a new concept to me, and the person on staff was very kind and helpful in guiding me through this process. I had recently moved and wanted to have all the bedding (mattress pads, sheets, blankets, bedspreads for both bedrooms cleaned and found The Wash Clinic online. As long as they were going to come pick up the bedding I decided to just get all the laundry caught up and so I gave it all to them -- clothes, etc. They picked up my laundry at my home in Sun City on one day and delivered everything clean and folded and smelling great the very next day. just drove 20 minutes arrival time 10:16pm to be told last wash in at 10:00pm. I just wanted to wash an oversized down comforter NOT dry and was told no. She even agreed wash takes 30 minutes!! Very clean and well organized. Different sized washers and dryers depending on the weight of your laundry. They use an inhouse card system that is convenient, but do not have an app for your cell phone or tablet. I've used them for the past 3 months and am very happy to drive the 15 to 20 minutes to do my laundry without worrying about damage to my clothes and other washables. read more

Horrible experience last night! I was in the neighborhood so I went in to check on their prices. There was a sign on the wall that told you their discount prices on certain days. I was starting to take a picture of it when I was approached by a woman who worked there. She asked if she could help me and I told her no and what I was doing and she replied with "We don't allow that. If you were already doing laundry here we would but since you aren't then we don't allow it." I was stunned! Way to lose business for your employer lady! Went for the first time this morning and I'll be going here from now on. It is clean, easy to use, and fast. I got everything done in an hour. Plus if you're looking for hard to find products during this time...ie. Toilet paper, gloves, etc. They've got it. Also the attendant/owner is soooooooo helpful and he continually was cleaning and practicing social distancing. Also has signs reminding folks of the guidelines. I couldn't have asked for better service and now I can get back to my day . I would recommend this place for your laundry needs... read more

I haven't been to a laundromat in more than 20 years. I did a little research online and found The Spin Doctor. I drove from Fountain Hills. I was a little nervous since I'm a bit OCD. I pulled up and peeked in first. It was around 9am on Saturday. The parking lot was pretty empty and I must say the parking lot is not impressive. When I walked up the door opened automatically which was very convenient. It smelled clean and looked cleaner. They have several different machine sizes and the machines all have very unique settings. You can put it on a covid type wash like hospitals use. I was impressed. I got a card and loaded the money on it and was off to wash. The tenant was a dream. I didn't get her name but she was so friendly and nice. She explained everything to me and showed me how things worked. The folding tables were clean and while I was there they were constantly cleaning. I still used the Lysol I brought with me but it is a very clean place. The prices were cool with me. I paid $7.99 for a 75 pound machine. Idk if that's good or how it compares to others. The dryers worked fantastically. I only had to run it twice and all my clothes got dry. While I'm shopping for another washer and dryer, I know where to go if I need to. They also offer services where they will do your laundry for you...drop off service etc. i highly recommend this laundromat if you're in need. read more

Brilliant concept for those in need of laundry services (especially if you are OCD like me). The facility itself is perfectly designed by poundage for washers as well as stickers for weight of the dryers. I find using the larger machines with less clothing gets you a better, faster result but to each their own. Bonus: extra settings on the washers to virus/sanitation etc. There are two sinks in the center of the laundromat, always stocked with soap and paper towels. The few times I have been here, Des, who is one of the establishments' customer service reps, is absolutely lovely. I am not joking, when doing adult-like tasks such as laundry; Des makes your entire experience a world of difference. She goes above and beyond to maintain this beautiful place from making sure everyone is more than satisfied and ensuring literally every facet is running at optimum. Honestly, if the owner is reading this- Des deserves a raise because she is a different breed. Kind. Thank you for creating this laundry facility and making humans like Des the face of your business. My daughter and I had about ten loads of laundry to wash a few weeks ago due to our washing machine breaking on us. We needed more washers and the size we needed were being occupied by another customer whose laundry was already finished washing. Laura assisted us in locating the customer so they could free up the washer for us. I then began putting the soap in the washers but didn't realize I was putting the soap in the pre-wash and the powder detergent compartment. Laura was helpful in putting the soap in the proper compartments and helped us rinse out the detergent bottles and poured them in to the prewash compartments. I then attempted to start the washers with my debit card not realizing I needed a laundry card. Laura walked me over to the machine to purchase a laundry card and helped me load money on it and explained the benefits of having the card in case you lose the card. Once we finally got the washer going we attempted to use the vending machine to purchase juice. It wasn't allowing us to purchase the juice so we asked Laura for help AGAIN. She informed us we didn't have enough money on the card because we needed to keep $1.00 on the card. So we loaded the card with more money. Once we dried all of our laundry and pulled it out to begin folding it we wanted to wipe counters off so we asked Laura for something to wipe it down with so she gave me a rag to wipe it down. She came around a few times to check on us while we were folding laundry. We were there for almost 4 hours and she was so helpful, patient and friendly the entire time. Her customer service is really hard to find in this day and time. On top of the laundry mat being clean and a pleasant atmosphere, Laura's service would definitely make me want to come back and recommend this laundry mat to others! read more
