Four stars.... purely because they're 24 hours. That's a public service and I respect it. Yes, I did spot some smushed dog kibble on the floor, maybe a hair or two left behind in the washer... Could the tidiness have been better? Sure. But it was a full-on family reunion in there... kids zooming around, parents folding like Olympic athletes, everyone apparently knowing everyone. I was just the mysterious outsider with two loads and no idea how much laundromats cost anymore. Definitely not $1.25 to wash. Maybe still $1.25 to dry and the option to you add a quarter for an additional five minutes right before the buzzer (at the 1 min mark) Machines worked. Clothes washed and dried. I got to be a peaceful fly on the wall, surrounded by community vibes and the distant scent of laundromat dreams. Plus... quarter machine present and accounted for (didn't need it, came prepared like a laundry Girl Scout). All in all, it's clean-ish, chaotic, and comforting. And now I know where to go when life gets dirty at 3 AM. Word of the wise if you're bringing your heavily soiled items here because you don't want to do them at home, run a hot empty cycle to clean out your washer, please, that just seems like a kind thing to do. read more

I had a bunch of winter coats that needed laundered for my company. I first emailed Spin Cycle to inquire about drop off service. The email was answered that same day! The email contained all of the information i needed ( price, hours, and approximate turn around time). When i arrived Katherine, the attendant, made the process quick and simple. I only came here once a few days ago, and it was surprisingly a lovely experience and I've been to a couple of laundry places. I was honestly worried because I've seen a couple of homeless people hanging at this place at night, but I went during the day and it was fine and safe. I met Catherine and she really is the BEST, Was extremely kind and helpful. She really made my experience feel safe and I felt welcomed. Super happy! The place was really clean surprisingly for being 24/7, we don't know what people do at night, but they sure know how to clean this place up! Also I have a husky so I brought in her dirty, full of fur bedding and let's just say that by the end of my visit. The bed came out clean and no fur! So the machines definitely work! I'm new to this area and this laundromat is really close to my rented town house. Though I have funds on my Coinless Laundromat, I've decided to return here for 2 Very Important Reason.... 1) I've fell in love with their dryers. My clothes were completely dry and I didn't Burn my hands while folding them. 2) 24 hours of operation.. 7 days a week,.. 365 a year. That is Totally Awesome! I am a student at ASU and have been here three times in the past week. This location is very convenient by being right down the street from campus. It also includes an ATM which was perfect because I never carry cash but it is needed to get quarters for the machines. It is a very calm atmosphere that is easy to relax in or work on something while you wait for your belongings. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a laundromat!! Place was kept open 24/7 which is awesome because most all laundromats close for the night. I was worried about being there at 2am because of the area but there was a security officer that walked around the parking lot and he actually walked thru the laundromat several times. This is still a good place to get your laundry done late, which is the only time we can do our laundry. Searches will usually turn up empty for a 24 hour laundromat. Of course there are no employees late at night, and the bathroom is locked. I assume this is due to the number of homeless people that frequent this laundromat to watch the tv, sleep, and use the restroom. Most of them are harmless and I usually give them a buck or two, but you have to make sure you really are aware of who is around you. One time we came here and I was folding my laundry, a guy comes in from the back entrance and starts to mess around with the laundry sink. I look over and he looks kind of sinister, but I didn't want to stare. Then he starts cleaning a razor sharp knife out of nowhere with a cloth! There were others doing laundry too and we all kind of looked at each other not knowing what to think. It was definitely one of those Uhhhhh....moments. I didn't know whether to bust out laughing or run in terror. A good place to catch characters and get your clothes clean for sure. p.s. we left some clothes here by accident and the employees found them, folded them, and held them for us in one of their laundry bags (they do laundry services too). If you dropped your clothes on the ground than it would be dirty again. However today I was in and Catherine who is their number one employee I'm sure did such a great job running traffic helping people out and even entertaining children. I've been in there on other days when a manager named CeCe is working and I don't know how they would let her run this place. Went and washed all my comforters tonight whew. The Clean Spin was empty when I pulled up and their facebook says they are only open till midnight so i was thinking i might be out of luck, Considering it was at the end of the work day the place for all general purposes was very clean. I used both the super huge washers for 4.75 each and they both worked great. I used 3 separate dryers at .25 for 5 mins all of them got good and hot and i dried a thick comforter with .75 cents. There were 2 change machines, a snack machine a soda machine a racing arcade game, soap vending machine and a very nice tv that was on and working nicely. My only complaints were it was a tad warm in there no fans for the season but i just hung out outside in my truck. AND the damn bathroom was locked thank god i wasn't doing the peepee dance. I can understand for obvious reasons maybe it is locked after a certain time. all in all this place rawked and i will definitely be back read more

When I lived just one street over from Hardy, I frequented Clean Spin a lot. I was a student, so the WiFi was a huge plus for me. The machines were easy to use and cheaper than the laundry facility at my apartment. The business itself seems a little dated, but everything worked fine (for the most part) and they keep it pretty clean so this isn't a big deal. One time, one of their dryers melted one of my t-shirts. The owners aren't always there (even during open hours), so I called the number and let them know what happened. The owner was very kind and gave me some drying suggestions for next time and he also gave me 10 dollars to replace the shirt--that was a nice gesture. So maybe 20 minutes later, two women came into the laundromat (not the person I spoke with over the phone), unlocked the office, took a seat, opened up their laptops, and started playing Farmville. I was a bit confused by this, but when I asked about the melted shirt, they promptly gave me the 10 bucks which paid for my whole laundry excursion (at the expense of one awesome shirt, though). I don't have too much experience at laundromats, but this place is A-OK in my book. read more
