The Wasteshed is a cool place to browse for inspiration! Lots of random things, but there is always a treasure to be found!

Enjoyable little store featuring a nice range of artist, mostly local in different mediums…read more Jewelry, scarfs, paintings, etc. Great place to pick up a gift for yourself or someone if you know their individual style. I did see a pair of earrings that I may go back and get, they were priced inexpensively and would be a cute vintage look for occasional wear. I have the tenancy to wear the same pieces everyday. Take a peek in if you're in the area you just may find a statement piece at a great price.

This charming consignment store is located on a busy stretch of Sherman Avenue. I visited the store specifically because I used to work with one of the artists in a downtown office situation. While I enjoyed his display very much, I ended up buying a beautiful summer-light caped shirt produced by someone else -- don't tell him, please! I chatted with the owner, who sounds like an Englishman, and he was very pleasant and excited to tell me about the store. They'd only been open one week at the time of my visit. Just a good experience all around. I'm happy with my purchase -- which, by the way, did NOT put me into sticker shock! That was a big surprise, especially for such a unique article of clothing. I feel like I'm walking around in wearable art. Highly recommended for the selection of goods, the variety, pricing, and customer service. If I have any complaint, it's the road construction in the area, but that, of course, is out of the store's control. One thing you should know: the receipt has a note that says "Consignment items cannot be returned. All sales are final." This wasn't mentioned to me before the purchase, but I can't blame the owner for that. We were having such a pleasant chat, I'm sure he was distracted. Just be aware that you cannot return what you buy. Whether or not they'll exchange for store credit, I have no idea. Shop local! It does you and your community good.

I spend far too much money on craft supplies. And there are so many crafts I pick up, buy supplies,…read morethen abandon. So I thought this would be a good place to purchase some supplies. It's a little out of the way, and it's a bit of a jumble. Most of these supplies look as though they sat in a warehouse for a long time. You have to be willing to look and search. I'm pretty craft-compulsive, and I bought nothing. Nothing. There were some (longtime?) customers in the store so they must know what they want. I was able to go down aisles, wander down corridors freely and no one bothered me. I suppose if I asked for help I would have gotten it. Sorry but this was not my vibe.

That said, it's a bit disheveled and dim; you're not in a Michael's. But if you are willing to poke around you, are sure to find some treasure! It's a good thing for GPS because the location is slightly hard to find, but gladly the nondescript building does have a big sign on it, the address is posted on a sign near the street, and the aqua blue door are all things to look for. Worth the drive!

The selection of canvases was incredible, unlike anything I've seen at other needlepoint stores. So many unique and fun designs immediately caught my eye. From the moment I walked in, Kristen was so helpful and welcoming. She helped me the entire time without being overbearing, and I loved that when I said I was just browsing, she told me to "just whistle" if I needed anything--it actually made me laugh and made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable. I also loved seeing popular canvases I've seen online and on TikTok, like the Tootsie collection and other trending designs--it was so fun to see them in person. I had such a hard time deciding on a needle minder because I only wanted to get one that I absolutely loved, and she was so kind to gift it to me. That kind of customer service is rare. Now every time I stitch and look at it, I'll think of Canvas Back and want to go back. They even stayed a little past closing to help me, which I truly appreciated. This is by far my favorite needlepoint store I've been to. I'll definitely be back! Thank you for your service! - Savannah
