I've been going to this place for a long time, it was always a pleasant experience, I would leave feeling a little pampered and a little less stressed. Unfortunately this last time it was the exact opposite.... the receptionist was incredibly rude, I felt like products were pushed on me way too aggressively, services I didn't want (or come to find out, even needed) were strongly suggested. Unfortunately this place I used to love so much, has adopted a "the employee is always right" attitude. If the staff upset a customer they have a "we can easily get more customers" attitude. I came here as a first timer for the "Hairless Beaver gets more Wood" lol Loved their creativity. I was referred to Clara by a coworker and of course did my research and even reached out to her beforehand. Their website is super informative and online booking was easy. It was a little overwhelming at first going through the paperwork beforehand but it honestly made the process so much faster once I arrived at my appointment. The lounge was so cute, I arrived super early but I didn't want to be late and honestly it gave me time to prepare and I was greeted promptly and offered a beverage. Of course I got the wine to calm the nerves! Really welcoming. Clara was a sweetheart and I just made sure to let her know right away it was my first time and she took care of me. Of course it's not gonna be 100% painless lol as I expected but she was so quick and did her best to distract me! Shameless Brazilian first-timer here!‍ Got the Brazilian Wax + Bikini Breakout Combo with Brandi, who was so lovely and made me feel as comfortable (and SMOOTH) as possible. There was a total of 4 people on the shop, one other customer who was completely away from me, one cosmetologist, and one lovely lady at the desk. They offer you drinks, which was so nice ("fun" drinks available for all the 21+ who may need liquid courage to ease the pain). I also purchased the Undercarriage exfoliating scrub ($40) for post-wax care, which has helped immensely with ingrown hairs and bumps. Expensive coochie care, but worth it in my opinion. One star off because my cosmetologist nearly left me without doing the Bikini Breakout (a $27 extra charge on top of the $50 for wax) and I nearly forgot but had to remind her. Also, I'm not sure if they conduct COVID-19 testing for their employees but it was a smidge concerning that my cosmetologist wasn't wearing a mask. I'm someone who's really picky about where I get my brows done, especially after bad experiences (including getting burned). I ended up at the Wax Lounge because my old go to place was closed and this place had great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. And let me tell you, this place has become my new go to. It's got a great atmosphere, great staff, and not to mention it's a small, local business. I've gone twice now to get my brows done and each time I walk out feeling so much more confident and satisfied with the work done. It's a bit more expensive than the place I used to go to, but I really think it's worth it. IT's a house turned into a business so I think that definitely contributes to the homey and comfortable atmosphere. I've been twice now and have been waxed by Brandi and Jayme. Both girls are total sweethearts! The front desk girls are kind, caring, and helpful. ***During COVID-19 Visit*** I went in today to get my nose hair waxed and it was one heck of an experience. I've never had it done before, but Madison was the one who helped me and was really nice and funny the entire time. It was very painless, but it was so quick and soon before you know it, you're out of there. Park in the back of the place and just walk through the door. You'll probably sit for a few minutes before you're called in for your service time. I think for all appointments they want you to book online, but I called in yesterday and was happy they had availabilities today. I'm not sure I'll have it done again, but it sure was one heck of an experience. My good friend was laughing at me when I told her and said you got manscaped! Haha. read more

I set an appointment at 12:15pm at 11:45am, as I was traveling back from Hemet and I would've been on time but a horrible accident occurred which set me back so I called immediately to reschedule it for 12:45pm so no one would be waiting (mind you they charged me the 28$ already) I was met with another fee of 20$ for having to push the time back and when I questioned it (not rudely at all) I was met with a disgusting sound from the scheduler She takes away the fee but I was unfortunately still 3mins late and told I needed to pay the 20$ extra The old location never did that at all, you couldn't be later than 5mins before you got the fee Regardless the customer service was horrible , the women were unsympathetic + rude My family runs a salon and have been for decades now. To see what I thought was a great establishment turn into this is truly sad People are struggling out here , have some common decency. Well I have been going here for a few years now and usually see Brandy seasonally when I need a bikini wax. I scheduled Brandy online only to get a new person Madison who gave me the most horrible experience I've ever had. A couple days later get a phone call from the manager offering offering to make things right but never once was I told that Brandi was no longer with the company. I was offered a smoother two days later, which didn't make sense because at by this point I had already two days later, which didn't make sense because at by this point I had already figured out what to do. I'm told that I can get a free waxing but have to use it within 30 days. Well that didn't make sense because I don't typically need another wax in 4 weeks but in 6 to 8 weeks. Nonetheless I tried later reaching out to the manager to see if they would extend it and I never heard back. By this time I have learned that Brandi has her own waxing company. So the reason for this review getting 2 stars is not primarily because of my horrible experience but because they couldn't be honest. read more

Wax lounge is always a great time! I see the Goddess, Brandi! She always takes care of me, especially the vajacial. Now, I've had plenty of lower lady facials but what is unique to the Wax Lounge are the services provided. Usually it's just some hydromask but the Wax Lounge uses high frequency (I think, ask Brandi) machinery to really treat and prevent ingrowns and other issues. I love it! It's a unique experience!
